This is the fourth part of four updates today. Make sure you read chapter-71, 72 and 73 before you read this.

"What are you doing here son," a voice woke my peaceful state.

"What the hell Luke," my sister's voice woke me up again.

Wait, where am I?

When I opened my eyes, I was in some strange place where everything looked magical, like I am in some sort of wonderland.

"Yes, you are in a place where you shouldn't be, now go back to your mate," my sister growled.

Wait, Sofie?

When I turned, there she was my sister holding Jeremy's hands looking all happy and fine. They were holding hands, both of them looking so happy, full in love.

At least here she is happy with Jeremy. But how is Jeremy here with her? That's when I remembered him taking the stake for me, him giving his own life for me.

Wait does that mean I am dead?

"Yes and no," another voice spoke. It was Luna's mother, who is smiling at me, looking like an fairy.

"What do you mean by that?"

"You are dead but you have a choice, you can go back or stay here," she explained.

For some strange reason I wanted to be here, with my sister. Here, I felt at peace like finally I can be happy. Even if I go back, Luna will get hurt because of the curse. By staying here, I can let her live.

She will grieve for sometime then she will heal. She will live a happy life.

"I'll," I started before Celine cut me off.

"Before you decide, I have few things to explain," she stood in front of me. "By you dying once, the curse has been broken and now with Luna's blood in your system, you have an option to go back. But if you go back, you won't be a pure-blooded royal. You'll be a normal vampire just like the others."

That means I won't be a king anymore. I cannot rule, I have to leave the kingdom giving it to my parents till they find a worthy king. I mean, if the curse is broken and if I get to have a happy life with Luna then I don't care about my king's status. Not going to lie, I will miss it but having my forever with Luna is more important.

"I don't care, I'll go back to my mate," I smiled at her as she gave me a nod which said you made a right decision child.

I went straight to Jeremy and took him in a hug, "thanks," I hugged him tight as a tear fell from my eyes.

Finally, the one who I thought to be weak became the hero. Finally, the lamb became the lion.

"Stop making me emotional Lucas, I am happy here. Finally, I am where I should be, with my home your sister," he gave me a huge smile. This time there was no pain in his smile, he was genuinely happy and that made my heart feel better.

Finally, both my sister and her lover are in peace. Now I can rest in peace.

"I give you my permission to marry my sister," I took his hand and joined it with my sister making both of them tear up in happiness.

I know this is not the place to say that but I know me saying this will make them happy.

"Finally, it took a huge battle to realize his worth," Sofie chuckled wiping her tears.

"Your time's running out," Celine reminded me.

Oh yeah, I have to go back to my mate.

"What should I do now?" I cannot wait to meet my Luna and tell her what I saw.

"Just think about your reality, a reason why you wanted to go back," she smiled at me. "And one more thing, tell my Angel that her mom is proud of her. Tell my son that his mom love's her and finally tell my mate and fathers that I am happy here, at peace," she wiped of a lone tear.

I nodded and closed my eyes, imagining my mate, how I am excited to tell her the news.

"No, I cannot lose him, we cannot lose him," I heard my mate scream as I fell down through a void, making me gasp for my breath.

"What do you mean by we?" I rasped out coughing for breath.

"Lu-Luke is that you or am I dreaming," my mate's voice came out all broken. There she was my beautiful mate, all red due to tears, her eyes swollen due to her crying.

"I am here, with you, I promised you, don't I? We are going to have our happily ever after," I chuckled as my mate fell down on me taking me into a bone crushing hug.

"Now tell me, what do you mean by we?" I sat up, looking at my mate expectantly.

She slowly took my hands and kept it at her stomach. Is that what I think it is?

"Are you?" I asked trying hard not to cry out of happiness.

She nodded as I let the tears flow freely through my eyes. God, I am so happy. Never in my life I would've imagine so much happiness coming to me all in one go.

"Hey, kings don't cry," Elijah chuckled at my state but he too is crying.

"Mates do," I sobbed taking my mate into a tight hug.

Finally, the curse is broken and we have our happy ending too. That's when I remembered what happened there on the other side.

"I saw Jeremy, Sofie and Celine," I started getting everyone's attention.

"Celine said she's proud of Luna. She told Victor that she love's him and she wanted her mate and her fathers to know that she is finally happy, at peace," I looked at all of them as everyone had tears in their eyes.

Even I couldn't believe that everything is finally over.

"It's over, the curse is broken and finally we have our happily ever after," I wiped Luna's tears.

Damn, I am so happy.

"Indeed, you kept your promise," she gave me a small peck in my lips.

"I don't know whether it's appropriate to say this now or not but we felt your union Lucas," Carter spoke holding his mate tightly.

That's when I realized who are all with me. It's over, the war is over and so is the curse. Finally, we can rest in peace.

"Here lies a soul of warrior who proved all of us wrong," I spoke keeping a red rose on Jeremy's grave, which is right next to Sofie's. It's been a day since we all came back to my kingdom.

Aron, Elijah, Sandra and Santiago were in their home, grieving for Celine, finally letting her go. While I, Luna, Carter and Samantha came back with Jeremy's body. After we came, every vampire gave us curious looking wanting to know what is happening since all of them would've felt our union.

But what is strange is that why everyone the felt the connection? According to Celine, I am no more a royal nor pure blooded vampire, that means I am no more their king. So, they shouldn't have felt that or maybe since we mated before the war, they felt it after the curse broke since I was their king while I mated with Luna.

Celine found a loophole to break the curse to. And that is my temporary death with Luna's blood in my system. According to Elijah, I came back because of the blood I consumed during our mating. If not for that, he believes I wouldn't have come back.

And I am glad that I came back, I don't want to miss a life with my mate and my kids. I don't want to leave them alone in this world.

"Is everything ready?" I asked Carter as he nodded.

Taking my mate's hands I went to the main stage, where the king stands to make all the important announcement to the people. Standing in front of everyone, I started telling them everything that happened, from meeting Luna to the war, how Jeremy's sacrifice saved me and how I am no more a pure-blooded vampire, how the curse is finally broken.

"Since I am no more a royal, as per the rules, I am handing this kingdom back to my parents till they find someone worthy of ruling it," I bowed removing my crown and keeping in the stand.

Never in my whole life I would've imagined this happening but I don't have any regrets. I have everything with me now, a mate to love, a family to cherish and a little Luke or Luna on the way. I have everything I ever wanted. And this is enough for me.

"Please your majesty," I heard a voice as people moved aside to leave him a way to come near us. "You are our king not because of your royal status but because of your qualities. Even if you don't have a royal blood, you will still be our king. For us vampires, irrespective of your status, you will always be our king."

When he finished speaking, everyone started cheering, agreeing with him. I stood there like a statue, speechless.

"You are our king; you will always be our king. That's why we could still feel you and our queen's bond. It's because our vampire side accepts you as our king by heart and we don't need any validation by some old rules," another spoke making my people once again shout in agreement with him.

Luna teared up looking at the scene as she squeezed my hands, "they are right, you deserve it with or without your royalty status."

That is when it happened, a few people came forward and took the crown in their hands as they put it back on my head making the whole crowd cheer in happiness. Following it, they brought a flower crown and put on Luna's head making her chuckle at happiness.

What did I ever do to deserve such an amazing people and a beautiful mate?

I must be one lucky bastard to get everything like this. Damn, I am indeed blessed like my mother said.

"Hail the king, hail the queen," the crowd cheered.

See I told you right, we vampires are the most loyal beings.

Giving them a huge bow, "I the king of vampires, promise to protect my people and cherish our kind forever," I repeated my old pledge again.

This time glitters and papers flied in the air along with people's cheers.

Finally, everything is perfect. I have a mate, my kingdom and peace.

Finally, I found my happily ever after with the one love. 

A/N: Oh my god, it's finally over. Never in my life I would've imagined that I will finish this story the way it ended. But I am so happy.
