Marinette P.O.V.

"Oh this is a disaster Tikki!" I said and I slumped down on my desk.

"If you love Adrien, do you love Chat Noir?" Tikki asked me.

"I guess since they are the same person."

"But what if they weren't?"

"I-I don't know Tikki." I said and I broke down crying. "I just don't get it. How can they be the same person? The truth is, I've always loved both of them."

"So what's the problem Marinette?"

"H-he's just this perfect person and everything about him is amazing. A super hero and a model! What a dream! But if I tell him who I really am- the point is, would he love me as Marinette if the one he loves is Ladybug? Ladybug is this awesome super heroine that saves people, is brave, and-"

"Marinette! You are Ladybug! There is no difference! Mask or no mask, it's the same person underneath!"

"Then why doesn't he love me! Why does he only love Ladybug! If he liked both sides of me he would love Marinette and Ladybug!"

"But Marinette! You can't just love two people! As an old saying goes, 'if you fall in love with two people, go for the second. Cause if you really loved the first, you wouldn't have fallen for the second.' He can have feelings for Marinette, but the one he loves is Ladybug. I'm sure he loves both sides of you, but he can't really fall in love with Marinette cause when ever you talk to him as Marinette it's a disaster."

"You're right Tikki. I'm sorry I overreacted. Anyway, I think a certain kitten is waiting for me. Tikki, SPOTS ON!"

Adrien P.O.V.

I sat on the top of a building waiting for Ladybug and I played around with my baton.

"Is the cat playing with his toy?" She said and sat down next to me.

"Ladybug!" I said and hugged her.

"Chat." She said and hugged me back.

"Well I was wondering if..." I started but then my cheeks got red.

"Yes?" She said and looked concerned.

My ears dropped down and I gathered enough courage to ask her, even though I already knew the answer. "Can you tell me who you are, under that mask?"

"Chat..." she said and touched her earrings. "I don't know."

"C'mon my lady, a small hint wouldn't hurt right?" I told Ladybug.

"Chat I've told you a million times, we can't know each others identities." She said and her miraculous beeped.

She swung away through the streets of Paris and I was left alone. I sighed and I whispered to myself, "I know..." I said then I stood up. "But this isn't fair. You know mine."

Something made her stop. She was far away from me but she stopped ontop of a building far from me. She turned to look at me and in an instant I ran to her side.

"This isn't fair." I said and she started sobbing.

"I know Chat but-" I wiped away her tears as she tried to talk. "I wish I could tell you but, I can't."

"But you know who I am. And in case you don't remeber, this is me. Plagg, claws in." I said and I detransformed infront of her.

She grabbed me collar and pulled her body close to mine so she could sob into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and watched her miraculous beep again. Three spots left.

"I-I can't Chat. If you knew who I was under this mask, would you still love me? A rash clumsy gril who can't do anything?"

"M'lady, I don't care who is under that mask. Who ever it is, I love her. I love you. And I don't care who you really are. Who ever you are, I love that person."

"If you love me so much, then why do you need to know who's under this mask?"

"So I could be with you all the time, and not just have to wait around for an akuma attack. And so I could tell you cat puns all the time."

"Chat!"

"Well I'll only say them as Chat Noir."

She giggled and wrapped her arms around my neck. Her miraculous beeped and she only had one spot on her earrings left.

"Are you sure you want to tell me m'lady?"

"You've earned it." She said then she kissed me as she detransformed.

Author P.O.V.
Just a little cliffhanger! I'll be going on vacation so I can't post for three weeks. I might be able to update during the next two weeks, but that's not guaranteed. Sorry for the short chapter!
