Adrien P.O.V.

"LADYBUG!" I yelled as she fell to the ground, motionless. "Ladybug!"

I got on the edge of my window and I felt like jumping out to save her but that would probably result in my death. It was useless, but the time I would finish transforming it would be to late.

"Plagg, CLAWS OUT!" I yelled and I transformed.

"Chat..." I picked her up in my arms and I craddled her.

"There there m'lady it'll be ok." I pressed her head against my lips and tightly griped her in fear that I would lose her.

"I'll be fine Chat. I only fell."

"Well that looked like a really bad fall to me. You didn't move for a while."

"I'm fine. I just-"

"If you insist. If you would have gotten hurt that would have been a cat-astrophe."

"Let me go you stupid minou we have an akuma to capture and a city to save."

"Just a bit longer?"

I put her arm around my neck and I put my arm on her hip to help her walk. I could tell she appreciated it even though the faces she was making were saying otherwise.

"Is this really necessary?"

"I know how much you appreciate this bugaboo."

"Stop calling me bugaboo and help me find the akuma!"

We found the akumitized man after a while of following a path of destruction. He wore a construction helmet and had 8 arms like an octopus.

He swung an arm at Ladybug and I pulled her away from the attack at the perfect time. I used my baton to launch us into the air and made us land safely ontop of a building.

"Chat you're hurting me." She said and I didn't realize how tight I was holding her.

"Sorry m'lady it's just that, I can't lose you."

"Chat..."

"There you are you little pests!" He yelled at us and we ran.

"The akuma is his helmet!" Ladybug yelled as we ran.

I did a backflip onto one of hjs arms and I ran up his arm to grab the helmet that was too small for his head. He was basically a giant octopus destroying Paris.

"Catch!" I yelled and I threw the helmet at Ladybug.

She almost caught it but the octopus grabbed it and knocked me off his back and sent me tumbling down.

"LUCKY CHARM!" Ladybug yelled and she got a shoe. "What am I supposed to do with this?"

She used her yo-yo to swing across the street and with her free hand she threw the shoe at his helmet. I used my baton to catch the helmet then I threw it to Ladybug.

She broke it in half and the akuma flew out. She started spinning her yo-yo to free the akuma.

"No more evil doing for you little akuma. Time to devilize!." She captured it then let it go. "Gotcha. Bye bye little butterfly."

She walked over to the shoe and threw it up in the air. "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!"

Everything that broke was fixed and now instead of a giant 8-armed monster there was a construction worker.

"Pound it!" We said and fist bumped.

She only had one more minute until she detransformed but as much as I want to know who she is, I respect her choice of not telling me.

"Your miraculous."

"Thanks Chat." She said then she was off.

I watched her run off then I walked to the Agreste mansion. I detransformed then I snuck in through my window.

"Relax kid. She did kiss you that one time..."

"She WHAT?" I yelled in surprise.

"Remember that time you fought Dark Cupid? Did I forget to mentioned that apart from all those mean things you said, you kissed her."

"How could you forget?"

"It's easy when you're me. The only thing I ever remember is stuff about cheese."

"Plagg!"I was fed up with that lazy kwami that all he does is eat.

Marinette P.O.V.

"Is it only me or does Chat seem to be acting differently lately? His usual flirty self seems to be somewhere else." I said and Tikki sat by me.

"Maybe you should talk to him today when you two patrol." Tikki said and she placed herself in my hands.

"I think Chat us already waiting for me. Tikki, SPOTS ON!"

I rushed to the building where we usually patrol but Chat Noir wasn't there.

A chill went up my spine as someone placed their hand on my shoulder. "I see you've been waiting for me."
