Adrien P.O.V.

"Bonjour Marinette!" I said as I walked to my seat.

"B-bour. B-bonjour!" She repeatedly said and kept trying to correct herself. She had the funniest smile and I smiled back, slightly confused.

"Adrikins!" Chloé yelled and ran to hug me. She's my best friend but she's also really annoying and mean.

"Hey Chloé." I said and I pushed her away to sit down.

"Adrikins wanna go on a date with me later on? There's this new fancy and expensive restaurant near my house!" Chloé said and she hugged my arm.

"No thanks Chloé I'm busy later on." I said and I pushed her away again.

"That's weird." I heard Marinette whisper to Alya. "There's nothing on his schedule today for later on. Maybe I can ask him to go somewhere with me since he regected Chloé!"

"You are one crazy girl." Alya said. "Go for it."

"H-hey Adrian, I mean Adrien." Marinette said and she smiled at me. "I was um wonderling- I mean wondering if you maybe want to g-go to the movies with m-me?"

"Sure." I said. "What time?"

"Great!" She yelled and them cleared her throat. "I mean 5 would be fine."

"Ok. I'll pick you up around five then." I told her and I turned around and I faced the front of the classroom.

"Earth to Marinette?" I heard Alya tell Marinette.

"Ya..." Marinette said and she had the biggest and funniest smile ever.

School ended and I went to my house to get ready for my date with Marinette.

"See? I told you that you two were love birds." Plagg said and he sat on my desk. "What about Ladybug?"

"I'm sure Marinette knows were just hanging out."

"Uh-huh. Just like you know Ladybug and you aren't a couple."

"We are! All these fanfics say we are."

"All the fanfics you wrote?"

"Haha. Very funny Plagg. I've only written 4 so far. Not counting the 2 in progress."

"I'm pretty sure writing fanfics about yourself isn't something you should be proud of."

"Shut up Plagg you've read fanfics too."

"But I don't write them about myself!" Plagg yelled and flew away from me to eat cheese.

"You mean you write them?" I said and he looked embarrassed.

"Don't you have to go pick up that girl?" Plagg said and he put more cheese in his mouth.

"Ya. Let's go." I said and he flew inside my jacket.

I got to Marinette's bakery and her parents were especially excited to see me.

"I'm so glad you two were going on a date! I knew you two were perfect for each other!" Her mom said and Marinette walked down stairs.

"It's not a-"

"Mom!" Marinette yelled and she walked towards me. She wore a pink skirt in place of her usual pink pants. "H-hey Adrien."

"Hi Marinette. Ready to go?" I said and I took her arm.

"Y-yeah." She said and her face flushed red.

I opened the door for her and we walked to the movies. The whole time she was stuttering and making weird (but cute) faces.

"You look nice." I told her as we got to the movie theater.

"T-thanks." She said and she started blushing maddly. "Too you- I mean you too!"

"After you." I said and I opened the door for her.

"T-thanks." She said she walked in. "I'm gonna g-go to the bathroom really quick."

I also went to the bathroom and Plagg immediately started annoying me. I fixed my hair in the mirror and he looked kind of annoyed.

"You realize your treating this like a date right? I didn't write all those fanfics about Chat Noir and Ladybug for nothing." Plagg said.

"I know but Ladybug doesn't notice me. And I'm pretty sure you're right, Marinette thinks this is a date. And I wouldn't mind going on a date with her. She's really pretty."

"Then why do you like Ladybug?"

"Cause, well it'll take to long to name all the reasons I love her. Marinette is waiting for me."

I walked out of the restroom and waited for Marinette a few minutes. She came out and I walked her to go buy some tickets and popcorn.

We were watching the movie but all of a sudden we could hear screams coming from outside.

"Run!" Someone yelled and I grabbed Marinette's hand and ran.

We were outside the theater and we both ran separate ways just like when we were in the park a few weeks ago.

"It's ok Marinette! I'll be fine!" I yelled at her and I ran into the bathroom.

"Adrien!" She yelled and ran the opposite way of me.

"What happened now? I was enjoying the movie!" Plagg said and crossed his arms.

"I would stay with Marinette but Paris needs saving. Plagg, CLAWS OUT!" Plagg got sucked into my ring and I began to transform into Chat Noir.

The mask appeared on my face and ears magically sprouted from my head. The leather suit replaced my normal clothes and my claws were out.

"Hello my lady." I said as I walked towards her.

"Hello Chat." She angrily said and walked towards the akumitized person.

"Whats wrong LB?" I asked her as I doged attacks.

"Hawkmoth ruined my date." She said and tried to ignore me.

It broke my heart she was on a date with someone else. It made me sad my lady is on a date with someone other than me, but then again, I am on a date with someone else.

"Well then let's defeat this person." I said and I got in my ready stance.

"Aren't you jealous?" She said and gave me a small smile.

"Yes but as long as you're happy bugaboo, I'm happy."

She smirked at me and did something unexpected. She rapped her arms around me and gave me a hug. I hugged her back without hesitation.

"Thanks for understanding Chat. I'm in love with someone else."

Tears started forming in my eyes but I managed to hide my sadness. "It's ok. I've moved on."

"Y-you have?" She said and she looked at me confused.

"Everyone has to." Is said and I turned away from her with tears streaming down my face.

"Chat Noir are you ok?"

"I'm f-fine." I said and I activated my cataclysm to destroy a sign next to me. "I have to go."

"Chat!" She yelled after me but I kept running.

And I regret not turning around. If I would have turned around she wouldn't have gotten the next hit.
