Adrien P.O.V.

She stayed next to him all day yesterday. Well it's only to catch up with her best frined right? Maybe I'd even do the same.

"Adrien there's something that I forgot to tell you." Plagg said and for once put down his cheese. He must be serious.

"Yes?" I said, annoyed by my previous thoughts.

"Remember when you turned into a cat? And how you healed yourself?" He said.

"Ya. Why do you bring that up now?" I told him and I nudged he big head with my finger."

He gave me an annoyed look then continued. "Well that wasn't me. It was the akuma."

"Aren't akumas supposed to be used for evil? Why did it heal me and help me save my lady?"

"Because the miraculouses aren't meant for evil. But I don't know what this means. The akuma helped you, but at what price? This could either mean we found a way to bring doen Hawkmoth, or Hawkmoth is gaining full control of you."

"Is there a way to get rid of it?"

"The only one who could undo it is the one holding the butterfly miraculous."

"So we would have to defeat Hawkmoth? That will be easy once we find him."

"Not if he gains full control of you first."

"I won't let that happen."

"That's difficult, but not impossible. It also means you have to stop being jealous of David."

"I'm not jealous! They're just friends!"

"Yep, you're definitley jealous."

"Adrien, something has happened." Nataile said out of breath as she slammed my door open. I stared at her with a confuse look on my face. "I-it's your father. He's gone missing."

In instant, my face went from confused, to horrified. "N-no. There must be some kind of misunderstanding. Maybe he's working or..." Or what?

"We've looked everywhere, the police have looked everywhere, but we can't find him."

I turned away from her with tears streaming down my face. "Please leave." I told her and I heard the door shut. I can't lose you too. I was so unhappy, but that's because I didn't know what I had. I don't know how much more I can take...

"Adrien..." Plagg said and he patted my back.

"Leave me alone Plagg!" I yelled and I swatted him away. "You don't care about anything besides your stupid cheese."

After what seemed like hours, I noticed my phone ringing. My phone said 20 miss calls from Marinette. I opened my window and I held my phone in my hand. I'll show her how I feel... I threw my phone as hard as I could out the window. I'm Adrien Agreste, I can afford to buy another one anyway.

Marinette P.O.V.

No answer.

I called him for the 20th time, but he still didn't answer. He must still be angry.

Just then, I saw Queen Bee standing ontop of a building and waiting for me and Chat. I'll talk to him there when I see him.

"TIKKI, SPOTS ON!" I yelled and I transformed. I ran to the building where she was and Iused my yo-yo to get myself where she was.

"Give it up already and tell me where Hawkmoth is." I said sternly.

Kid Mime walked up next to me but was quickly distraced by something else. "Woah Chat Noir, you ok?"

I looked over to Chat and I saw he looked completely different. He was a cat again. My eyes widened and I dropped my yo-yo. "Is that supposed to happen?"

Chat stayed silent so I turned back to Queen Bee. "It's over Queen Bee. You're outnumbered."

"That won't stop me. Amd I do have some allIes coming over." She said and she started fixing her hair. "Anyone have a mirror?"

Adrien P.O.V.

As she was talking to Queen Bee, I noticed a glass shard flying towards her. I jumped ontop of her making the shard miss her and making it hit Queen Bee's shoulder instead.

"Chat! I could have gotten her miraculous!" Ladybug yelled at me.

"Are you really complaining that I just saved you?" I said and I dogded glass shards flying to me.

"Judging my where it hit her, it was going to miss me. And I just lost a good chance at getting her miraculous! No stop arguing and lets get her!"

Queen Bee threw a kick at Ladybug but I managed to push her out of the way before she got hit. "Stop acting so childish Chat! Stop being jealous for no reason! Stop protecting me! I'm Ladybug I can protect myself!"

"How am I being childish!"

"Stop protecting me like I'm some weak damsel in distress in need of saving! I can save myself!"

"I save you because I love you, ok!"

"Well," She paused and turned away from me, "Well, I-I don't love you!"

The words hit me hard. It was like being stabbed in the chest. Or maybe I really did get stabbed in the chest, but everything after that was a blurr. All the sounds sounded the same, my world was in black and white, and my emotions were gone.

I couldn't feel any pain from all the hits, Kirishima's crystals would make their way into my back yet I could feel nothing. And it didn't matter because the cuts would heal anyway. After all, this isn't the first time my world felt like if it was in black and white.

"Chat! We could have won!" Ladybug yelled at me as I realized what I had done. I had grabbed her arm and pulled her down, making her fall to the floor, a crystal shard barely missing her and prevebting her from grabbing Queen Bee's miraculous.

"You'll never win. Hawkmoth is going to win, one way or another." Queen Bee said then she and Kirishima quickly left.

Ladybug walked up to me and was about to reprimand me, but she hesitated and walked away.

"Good-bye Chat."

Those were the last words she ever spoke to me. Without a backwards glance she left, as if nothing had ever happened. Her tone was cold and harsh, unforgiving. I could hear her breathing get all choppy, and her wiping away her tears. But the moment didn't last long. She left me alone, standing frozen in my spot.

I didn't want to say goodbye and I had a huge choice to make. Run after her like the old days or simply let her go? Well they say if you love someone, let them go. And that's exactly what I did. But they also say if they really love you they'll come back. And I know you will someday Mari. Perhaps not today but I'll be waiting for you, always.

Hawkmoth P.O.V.

"Give me your miraculous." I said and I cornered Gabriel Agreste so he couldn't run.

"I'm supposed to be giving you orders!" He yelled and I grabbed his butterfly miraculous.

"Not anymore. You'll soon be the one ordering you around. And I'll make a much better Hawkmoth. Now shut up and listen to me Agreste if you ever want to get out of here alive."
