Marinette P.O.V.

I arrived to school late on Monday because of my broken leg. Everyone kept asking me how I broke it so I made up a story of how I fell down the stairs, when in reality I fell off a building.

"Girl, you did that by falling down stairs?" Alya asked me.

"Ya." I nervously replied.

"You are super clumsy, you know that right?"

"Yes."

"Marinette." Chloé said in her annoying voice. "See I was right. You're so clumsy you broke your leg doing what? Falling off stairs? Please."

"Leave Marinette alone!" Lila said. "She hasn't done anything bad, that sweet girl."

"Move." Adrien said and pushed Chloé and Lila.

"ADRIKINS!"

"ADRIEN MY SWEET!"

The both started yelling over Adrien but he sat down and ignored them. Chloé then sat next to him and Lila started fighting with her for the seat.

"Oh please I hate you both." He said and the stared at him in horror.

"You know you love me Adrikins." Chloé said and walked away.

"Oh c'mon you can't hate me Adrien." Lila said then she put her hand around his neck.

"Don't touch me. And do you want me to name all the reasons I hate you?"

Lila just got up and walked to sit next to Nathaniel. I stared at Adrien with a confused look and he turned to face me.

"And you broke your leg by falling down the stairs? Pathetic."

My face turned red and Chloé started laughing. Adrien quickly responded to her annoying laugh. "Stop laughing Cholé, now that I think about it, no one here is more pathetic than you."

During lunch Adrien sat next to Nino but showed no emotion. Chloé and Lila stopped bothering him and no one would even turn to look at him, except me.

"Marinette don't think your better than me cause you're not." Chloé said and she stomped on my foot.

"Ow Chloé stop you're hurting me!" I yelped and Adrien's eyes flashed their normal light green again.

"Chloé stop!" He yelled at her and sat next to me. "Marinette are you ok?"

"First you call her pathetic now you help her?" Chloé said angrily.

"I'm sorry about that Marinette. Are you sure your leg is ok?"

"N-no." I said and I tried to stand up to get my cruches.

"I'll just carry you to the nurse Marinette. Alya can you bring her crutches?"

He carried me bridal style all the way to the nurse and I felt my face turn super red. It's like whenever I get hurt his normal self returns for a little bit.

After school I walked past an alley but coincidentally I was there at the same time as Chat Noir. And he detransformed infront of me.

"Marinette?" Adrien said. "Please don't tell anyone I-"

"I already knew." I cut him off.

"W-what? How?"

"Because..."

"Because what?"

"Because," I held my breath for a moment and decided to tell him. "Because I'm Ladybug."

"Y-you're Ladybug? M-marinette your kidding right?"

"No. This is why I didn't want to tell you I-"

He cut me off by grabbing me and kissing me, which suprised me. It wasn't a kiss like last time. It seemed more forced and was only a small peck on the lips.

"I love you Marinette." He said and he hugged me.

"Y-you do? Even if I'm a clumsy, rash girl who can't do anything right?"

"To me you're perfect Marinette." We both looked into each other's eyes but something was off. His eyes were dark green.

"D-do you really love me?"

"Of course," he paused for a second. "Of course not. I don't like liars Marinette. And don't even think for a second that I would want you."

"A-adrien..." I said with tears rolling down my cheeks.

"You know you were right Marinette. Why would I like a clumsy, rash girl who can't do anything right? If I find out you tell someone about me being Chat Noir, I will kill you Marinette."

"But Adrien I'm not lying. I am Ladybug."

"Then that makes me Hawkmoth."

He had an iron grip on my arm and wouldn't let go. "Chat, you're hurting me."

"That's the point."

"If you really ever loved Ladybug, then you wouldn't be like this." His grip loosened and his eyes turned back to normal, not just a flash of their usual warm green.

"Marinette. I-I'm sorry I-I don't know what happened. Can you forgive me?"

"Always."

"A-are you really Ladybug?"

"Well, I have the same hair, voice, height, and broken leg."

"M-marinette I-I'm really sorry. I shouldn't h-have acted like that."

"It's ok Adrien. I understand. But you shouldn't have absorbed the akuma. I don't know what it's going to do to you."

The only reason I wasn't blushing or stuttering is because this was about helping Adrien, not a lame attempt to flirt.

"Thanks Marinette. I didn't mean all those things I said. And you are perfect to me Mari. I'm sorry I don't know what came over me. I-if there's anything I can do..."

There was an akward pause but then her put his thumb on my bottom lip and pushed my face upwards so I was facing him directly. He pressed his lips against mine but this time it was a soft, warm kiss unlike the other one. It wasn't forced and I melted into the kiss. We both pulled away for some air and I could feel my face turn hot.

"Am I making you nervous m'lady?"

I started blushing even harder and he ran his hands through my hair, releasing them from their red strings.

"You're so beatiful Mari. The way your hair frames your face, and your eyes, not to mention you're a great kisser, but it's not like I've kissed anyone else. No wonder everyone wants you."

He pulled me close to him and started kissing my neck. My chest was against his and his arms were wrapped tightly around my waist, eventually making their way down.

"But no one wants you, like I do."
