Jimin stared at the bow and arrows in his hand, debating if he broke it and sent a faulting arrow in both Hoseok and Taehyung's directions if it'd reverse the spell. He decided to give it a shot and broke one of the arrows over his leg. He shot the pointed end at Hoseok and turned abruptly to shoot the other side at Taehyung. Taehyung flinched as it hit his back, but showed no other signs of acknowledgment as he curled into Hoseok's side.
"There has to be some way to fix this," Jimin muttered to himself. He looked down at Hoseok's file. It said that he hated snakes, but so did Taehyung, so getting the latter to buy one is completely out of the question. If Jimin was being honest with himself, the two were a perfect match for each other. Jimin sighed.
"I think we should give them a taste of their own medicine." Yoongi is suddenly whispering in his ear and Jimin jumps back, slamming the file closed.
"What do you mean?" Jimin asked, trying to turn around without revealing the file on the counter. Yoongi stepped closer to him before he had time to gain his bearings, and the close proximity made his head hurt.
"Well, dweedle dee and dweedle dumb are too busy with themselves to hang out with us anymore, so what if..." Yoongi trailed off for a second, as if reconsidering his idea before he continued. "What if we're too busy with each other to hang out with them?"
"What... what are you insinuating?" Jimin asked, throat dry. If this was headed anywhere near where he thought it was headed, he was going to have a very pissed Seokjin on his hands. Jimin all but died inside when Yoongi grabbed his hand.
"Look, you're cute, alright? I don't see the harm in at least trying to act more coupley than they are to try and get them to snap out of it." Yoongi said. Jimin couldn't think, not with Yoongi's cold hand pressed into his warm palm, definitely not with the older so close to him.
"So what I'm hearing," Jimin started, throat screaming out in protest. He needed water. And maybe a defibrillator. "Is that you only want to date me to get back at Hoseok."
The guilty look on Yoongi's face was enough for Jimin, and knowing that Yoongi wasn't actually interested in him made him feel better. He could do this fake dating thing, tell Seokjin it was for the sake of the mission, and maybe get some good cuddles out of it. It was a win-win-win. Yoongi was opening his mouth again, probably to say to forget it, when Jimin pushed his fingers through Yoongi's own and smiled at him.
"Let's get our friends back, shall we?" And my wings. Jimin thought silently.

They were going on a double date. Jimin was nervous as hell as he tried to pick out an outfit, while Taehyung was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. He was jumping on the bed, then sprinting down Jimin's narrow hallway, then jumping behind Jimin to try and get a better look in his closet.
"Taehyung!" Jimin snapped, dropping the hanger he was holding, baby blue shirt falling unceremoniously onto the ground. Taehyung stopped and looked at Jimin, a sheepish grin on his face. "Could you chill for two seconds? And maybe get dressed? They'll be here soon."
"I am dressed, Jimin. You should be the one rushing. Just put on those jeans you like so much and a nice shirt. We're not going anywhere fancy, Hobi hyung said that we're going to the arcade." Taehyung said, all traces of hyperness gone. Jimin sighed and did exactly that, put on his favorite pair of black jeans and a striped shirt. Taehyung all but giggled when he saw that Jimin was trying to do something with his hair. "It looks fine, Jiminie, don't worry."
Jimin scoffed. "I'm not worried." Taehyung raised an accusing eyebrow, but someone knocked on the door before he could interrogate Jimin's feelings for the elder.
"Don't worry," Jimin mocked, running his hand through his hair in a silent, fuck it. "Why would I be worried? There's nothing to worry about. It's not like I actually like Yoon– oh."
For just going to the arcade, Yoongi looked like he'd actually woken up before noon that day – which was a big accomplish for someone as lazy as Yoongi. Instead of his normal ripped jeans and hoodie, Yoongi had on form fitting jeans and a shirt that said Brooklyn. Jimin didn't know what a Brooklyn was, but he wanted to thank them in person for printing their name on a shirt.
"You ready, Jimin? Or are you just going to stand there and look at Yoongi hyung all day?" Hoseok asked, covering his mouth when he started to giggle. Jimin rolled his eyes and followed the three of them out of the apartment, Hoseok and Taehyung skipping happily ahead of him, hands swinging between them.
"Congratulations," Jimin said, glancing once at Yoongi's confused expression before continuing. "For looking like you didn't just wake up. I don't think I've seen you wear something without wrinkles in the whole month and half I've been here."
Yoongi laughed and pushed Jimin's shoulder a little bit. "Hey, I never said anything when you wore the same jacket for two weeks straight. Don't come for me and my wrinkles."
"From what I hear, they'll be in your skin soon. Why didn't you tell me you were older than me? I've been disrespecting you like, this whole time." Jimin said. He always made sure to use honorifics, even if he hated the person older than him. That was just how he was raised. Jimin decided not to think about home or his parents as not to ruin the 'date' he was going on.
"Okay, first of all I'm not that old. And honorifics never seemed important. Firstly because I didn't actually think we'd be friends, and secondly because after we did start to hang out I just kind of forgot about it. You can call me hyung if you want, it's not really a big deal." Yoongi said. Jimin nodded and pushed open the door of the apartment complex, which Hoseok and Taehyung had so graciously slammed in their face on their way out.
"So where is this arcade? I haven't really explored at all." Jimin said. He stood on his toes and looked ahead for Hoseok and Taehyung, who where standing outside the dog adoption center, screaming through the glass at the puppies.
"We'll have to do that someday, then. I'll take you to all my favorite spots." Jimin tried to push down the urge to blush. "The arcade is a few blocks down. I wanted to take the car, but Hoseok insisted on walking."
"Walking is good for you, don't be such a lump." Jimin said. He pulled Taehyung away from the window as they walked past, hoping that Hoseok would follow him. The store owner sent the four boys a glare as they walked away.
"I'm not a lump," Yoongi insisted. "I worked hard to earn enough money to buy a car and none of you will let me use it."
Jimin leant over and pinched Yoongi's cheek, which had gone chubby from pouting. "Don't be a baby, you'll live." Yoongi glared at him and pulled Jimin's hand away from his face, but instead of dropping it he laced their fingers together. Jimin wanted to scream. Or die. Jimin wanted to scream and die. He settled for a very manly blush.
"Jiminie's blushing~!" Taehyung sang, pulling on Hoseok's hand. The couple grinned at him, Hoseok's blinding and Taehyung's wide with a bit of... something.
"I'm not blushing," Jimin said. He pulled his jacket collar up to hide his face, but Hoseok was already cooing at him and Yoongi was laughing heartily. Jimin buried his head in Yoongi's shoulder, which although it hid his blush, caused Hoseok to squeal loudly and his blush to worsen. "Next time can we go without the human siren?"
Yoongi laughed even harder at that, having to stop and lean over to try and catch his breath. Taehyung was laughing too, but softer since Hoseok was glaring at him, looking thoroughly offended. Jimin felt bad when he didn't talk for the rest of the walk to the arcade, but as soon as he saw the flashing lights on all the games Hoseok perked right back up and pulled Taehyung to the coin counter.
"You'd think they were seven." Yoongi muttered. Jimin laughed and nodded, but didn't miss the way Yoongi's eyes lit up when he saw the ski ball games.
Just for fun, Jimin thought he'd pose a challenge. "I bet I'm better at all of these games than you are." Truthfully, Jimin was shit at anything that didn't have to do with avoiding a certain fairy, but the playful glint in Yoongi's eye was enough to make him competitive.
"I bet not." Yoongi said as they walked towards the ticket counter. He payed for both of them, much to Jimin's displeasure, but Yoongi had brushed off the numerous punches to his shoulder as he handed the money to the person behind the counter. They were divvying up the coins when Yoongi looked up. "What's the consequence? Like, for the loser."
Jimin contemplated it for a second, before finally deciding on something that wouldn't get him in trouble with Seokjin. "Loser buys the winner cupcakes from the cafe down the street."
Jimin already knew he was going to lose, and buying cupcakes wasn't that big of a deal. He'd probably pick some up for himself too. Yoongi shook his head, unimpressed. "That's lame. You buy me cupcakes all the time."
Jimin was going to protest the fact that Yoongi had just said he knew that he was going to beat Jimin, just to pick a fight, but Yoongi kept talking. "How 'bout this, loser buys cupcakes and has to give the winner a kiss."
Jimin blanched. "Are you five?"
"No, I'm just making this interesting. Here's a hundred chips. We play all the same games, and at the end of the night whoever has more wins. We got a deal?" Yoongi held out a hand and Jimin stared at it dubiously before shaking it tentatively.
"You're on."
