Checking the files given to him by his financial secretary. "Why are the records this way?" Nelson asked

His secretary began to stutter "I..I..we..sir..uh..it was..."

"Can you answer me smartly!! Cause I'm pretty sure I hired you cause you were competent enough for this job"

"Yes sir... uh.. we realised there was a spy who has been working under us. But is secretly working for J'Primes company" the secretary replied

Nelson chuckled and paused, after a while he let out a sadistic laughter "What the fuck are you trying to tell me?" He asked in a low, but dangerous tone

"Sir..sir..wha..at... I'm trying to say is he has stolen some of our secret codes for J'Primes which gave them a 30% edge over us"

"So that's why my company had a 20% profit loss?" Nelson queried

"Ye..yes si..sir" the secretary stuttered

Nelson glared hard at his secretary "What exactly am I paying you for?"

His financial secretary tried to speak, but he cut him short "I give you 24 hours to sort this mess out. If not consider your job gone"

"Ye...y..yes.yes sir" he replied and scrambled out, almost bumping into Nelson's friend at the door

His friend came in with a raised brow "Yo man, what's up with him?" He asked while pointing at the guy who just left through the door

Nelson looked away, letting out an exasperated breath. "What do you want man?" Focusing on his mac book

Daniel chuckled "who pissed in your cereal bro?"

Nelson rolled his eyes "Just some incompetent fool I employed"

Daniel grinned "You know sometimes I think you're way too strict. Tone it down a bit bro, you make some of your employees shit in their pants just by the mere sight of you" and they both laughed

"Why won't I? I built this company from the fucking scratch man. You've been there with me and you know how we started from the bottom. But now we here. Nelson finished with a proud smile

Daniel nodded, agreeing with his words "Yeah you're right man. But it's been God either way. Let's forget that, I've got juicy news for you"

Nelson immediately went into business mode "Hit me with it"

"I found her. My PI informed me that she's still in Minnesota"

Nelson raised a curious brow "That's it? I expected something juicier" typing away on his laptop again

Daniel chuckled "no man. The juicy part is she's planning on setting up a grand hospital here in Abuja"

That caught Nelson's attention immediately "Man I don't believe that. You dey whine me ni?"

"No bro.. I no dey whine you"

Nelson's brows furrowed "I thought she was staying there forever?"

"Well no. She wants to come back home" Daniel replied

"So what do you want me to do about this news now? I guess she's moved on and living a good life with her fiance or husband"

Daniel was confused "Uhh... I don't understand. You told me to investigate her and I did, now you saying this?"

"Yeah. What were you expecting me to say. Don't forget I've also got someone I'll be engaged to in a few months" Nelson shuddered at the last statement he made

Daniel chuckled again while shaking his head "Brooo!! We both know the engagement is based on the huge deal you're planning to get. And the last time I checked, you are one of the smartest millionaire in the country. Are your brain cells dead this time?"

Nelson glared at him "You know I could kill your career right? So watch what you say to me"

Daniel laughed out loud "Yeah. But a tough fight that will be. Being one of the biggest and highest paid lawyers with crazy connections,  you might wanna review your statement sir"

Nelson sneered at him

Making Daniel chuckle "Anyway what I'm saying is this is your chance to take your revenge and we never know, fireworks may set-off. You know what I mean" wiggling his brows at his friend

"What the hell are you saying? It's not possible, we might never even meet. Just let it die man, I moved on already"

Daniel rolled his eyes "Yeah right. Cause I look stupid right? Everyone in this world knows you're still hung up on her. You still love her man, so quit with the whole hard guy you dey form for me"

"I don't love her anymore. I just want to make her feel the pain I felt when she left me. But that's not possible when I don't even know we will meet again"

"That's exactly why I'm here. To help wake your dead brain cells up" Daniel winked

"Why're you against her all of a sudden? I remember you guys' bond was so unbreakable, I thought you both were dating"

"Come on man. I loved her as a sister, but what she did wasn't nice and it still doesn't mean I hate her now. I just feel she has a reason for what she did. Nevertheless, we wouldn't let her get away with breaking you. Will we?"

Nelson gave a devious smirk "I always knew you weren't a saint. What's the plan bro?"
