~~~~~~~~~Iris's POV~~~~~~~~~

In front of me now stood a very strange-looking man. He only consisted of two colors expect for his skin, dressed in a tux and top hat, and I'm not exaggerating when I say he was tall, because he is tall.

Like roughly eight feet tall!

Most of his hair was a bright blonde which covered half of his face, and the rest was black. His skin was tanned, with a button nose and freckles across it. The most peculiar thing about him was.. his eyes..

I could only see one of them because of his hair, but the one I could see didn't look human. It was completely yellow, with only a black slit in between.

And the wide grin never left his face either..

He then raised his arms above his head in a stretch, letting out a heavy sigh afterwards. "Ah, finally! I've been stuck in that mossy old prison for so long I thought I'd pass out! Really gotta thank you, kid!"

I was in too much of a shock the speak, or even move, I didn't know what to do! I didn't know what was happening in the first place!

He tilted his head, taking a few steps closer to me. "Kid? You okay? You seem-"

"AHH!!" I quickly swung my tail over as he reached his hand out to me, hitting his face as hard as I could with it as he was pushed back with a groan of pain.

"OW!!" He gripped his nose, and as I began to run away as fast as I could, I heard him start to laugh as if someone had told a joke. It freaked me out even more, and I was desperately trying to look for a clearing where I could fly to the sky.

I got even more scared when it seemed like the trees had changed. From above they were all opened and I could see the ground just fine, but now they seemed to trap me in!

After a while of running, I just couldn't take it anymore, finally stopping as I leaned against a tree, catching my breath.

I've been running for a good ten minutes now, I should be far enough from him now..

"I wouldn't hold your breath."

"AH!!!" I swung my arm to whatever was in front of me, only for a hand to grab my wrist.

In front of me was the same man from before, his expression a bit annoyed. "Could you like, not scream again?"

"L-let go of me!!!"

"Alright alright! Jeez!" He let go of my arm, rolling his eyes. "Humans freak out so easily."

"W- who are you?! What are you?! Why'd you just appear out of nowhere?!?"

"One question at a time, kid."

I tried to back away, but the tree behind me stopped me from running. He then smiled, grabbed his hat and lowering it in a bow. "The name's Bill Cipher, demon of the mind! At your service!"

"My service?!"

"We made a deal didn't we?"

"I never did anything like that!!"

"Uh, yeah you did." He raised his hand, they same blue flames from before surrounding his hand. "You said you wanted your life to be less boring, then you shook my hand."

Crap, I did do that..!

"I-I didn't know you were real, I thought it was some broken statue!!"

He simply gave a shrug. "That's your fault, not mine."

"Well I take it back!!"

"Can't do that."

"Yes I can!"

"Sorry, kid, it doesn't work like that."

I held in a growl. "Stop calling me kid, I'm an adult!"

Letting out a scoff, he crossed his arms. "You're a kid compared to me."

"Yeah? What, are you like, two hundred years or something?"

"A little more. I'm twenty four billion, nine hundred and ninety nine million, nine hundred and ninety nine thousand, plus nine hundred and fifty. (24,999,999,950)"

I stared wide eyed at him, was he being serious.

"As serious as you were about hitting me earlier."

"H-Huh?"

He pointed at his own head. "I did say I'm a demon of the mind, didn't I?"

Great, I have to deal with mind-reading too?!

"Yep!"

"Sh-shut up!! And don't read my mind!!"

"It's more of a reflex than a choice, so no promises."

I let out a heavy sigh, trying to calm myself down as much as I could, though it wasn't that easy. "You said this was a deal, right? So what exactly do you want?"

"I'll explain the details later. For now, we should get you home." He flicked his wrist, making me grow confused until I fell back onto my- ... my bed?!

"H-how'd I-?!"

"Demon! I'm a demon! Cant you connect the dots already?" He let out a huff, his hair blowing off his face for a second. "And here I thought you were among the smart humans."

Shooting him a glare, I stood back up. "You can't blame me for being in shock right now! I didn't want any of this!!"

"So you don't want your life to be just a little more entertaining?"

"... well, I.."

I did.. I really did.. Nothing about me has ever stood out. The only exciting thing about me was my magic, but that was what people would consider too much, and I'd get dissected if it got out..

Eventually, I took a deep breath. "Fine, but nothing too overboard."

"Atta girl!" He wrapped an arm around him, his legs floating from above the ground. "Don't worry, you won't regret this~"

"I seriously doubt that."
