~~~~~~~~~Third Person POV~~~~~~~~~

There was a wide smirk plastered on the boy's face, gripping the dagger as he walked closer to Gabe and Lara, who stared wide eyed at the scene.

The shock on Gabe's face was quickly replaced with a glare, an arm extended to the side to protect her. "What are you doing her, Wes?!"

"Isn't it obvious? I'm here to continue what we started."

"I already told you, I'm not gonna fight you anymore!"

"SHUT UP!!! I don't need your pity, so stand up and fight like me like a man already!!!"

"Gabe, his aura.." He looked back at Lara, who was now glowing a soft green, her ears perked up in alert. "It's completely different than what it was before.."

"What, don't you wanna show your girlfriend how strong you really are?!" The glow surrounding Wes grew even more, his smirk turning into a glare of pure hatred. "COME AND FIGHT ME, YOU FUCKING COWARD!!!"

Raising his arm, Wes threw both daggers in their direction at top spot, giving Gabe only a second to form a thick wall of ice in front of them before they started to run away.

Even if he wanted to fight, he didn't have the energy to use all of his magic or abilities, and he didn't want to risk going too far just as the day before.

They ran as much as they could, Wes slowly catching up to them, but if there was one things Gabe new is where to go. He knew these woods like the back of his hand, the maze of trees was a perfectly straight road for him.

Eventually they reached a wide river, it was wide and impossible to jump across, but it almost never had a strong current, they could easily run across.

But they were forced to a stop when he noticed the pink lightning that crackled through the soft waves, making it not just dangerous, but full on deadly.

But he wasn't giving up that easily.

"I'm gonna make us a bridge, cover me!!" He yelled, a dark blue orb already forming in his hands.

She gave a nod, the two of them standing back to back as one formed a bridge of ice and the other made several orbs of dark matter, ready to attack. When Wes came to view, she began to shoot the orbs one by one; they weren't meant to injure him, just slow him down while they could run.

"C'mon!!" Gabe shouted again, both of them running across the new bridge, Wes's growls heard behind them.

But a loud yell of pain was heard when one of the daggers stabbed through Gabriel's leg, forcing him to fall.

"Gabe!!!"

"Just go, it's me he wants!!!"

She couldn't leave him though, not after all he's done for her. His forgiveness, his acceptance, it all meant to much to her after all the cruel things she did. He still helped her, he still saved her.

She had to stay.

Standing in front of the injured boy, she formed the dark orbs once again, this time all of them much bigger. It took a lot of her energy, but even with that, she couldn't keep him away, even after all the orbs stabbed through him, he simply regenerate.

Her screams were the only thing heard as he raised his arm, pink electricity coursing though every inch of her body, and then letting her fall unconscious, Gabe catching her before she could hit her head on the ground.

Wes let out a chuckle, one that was cocky and menacing, each step he took made his confidence boost.

However, he was sent back when a line of magenta flames surrounded the two injured teens, Gabe smiling a bit at the realization, and soon seeing his sister and cousin running over.

Fiona cracked her knuckles, a smirk spread across her face. "You guys having a party and didn't invite us?!"

"What's wrong with a surprise party?!" Gabe joked back, Jade kneeling down beside them as she murmured a spell, glowing a faint jade tone as she slowly healed the others.

The flames soon disappeared, and while Fiona took the role of fighter, Jade finished healing her brother's leg, and moved on to the girl who trembled as shocks of energy coursed through her veins.

Gabe stared at her, worry obvious in his eyes as he waited for her to be healed, fear slowly filling his chest. He had never been so nervous over someone who wasn't family, especially not someone he still knew little of.

But he cared. He really did.

He cared a lot, for reasons he didn't know, and the thought of loosing this girl truly frightened him.

Jade pressed her hand against Lara's forehead, transferring some of her life force. "Gabe, you need to help Fiona, I'll take care of Lara!"

He nodded, then ran over to the fight to see Fiona already bleeding. She looked over, a small glare on her face. "I thought Wes didn't have any magic!!"

"He didn't until now!!" Both jumped back as a wave of energy was shot to them, barely avoiding it.

This guy was nothing more than a mere human just a few hours ago, how did he get this sort of magic, and how did he become so much stronger?!

They couldn't hold back, not anymore. They tried to go the pacifist route, and it only made him that much angrier.

Screw not fighting back.

But it was much easier said than done..

Wes really had grown much stronger, much faster, much more agile, and his magic was unpredictable. Gabriel and Fiona had given it their all, and Jade and Lara, who hasn't been healed completely, had to join the fight.

They were all bloody, in pain, with cuts and bruises everywhere. They could barely even stand, it was a struggle to stay on their feet.

Wes's laugh was loud and maniacal, booming through the forest. "Is this really all you can do?!? Poor little Gabriel, guess you're not the all mighty god you thought you were~!!"

"W- what are you.. talking about..?" He gripped his arm, speaking through gritted teeth. Even that took so much of his energy.

Wes glared daggers at him. "Don't play stupid, Anderson!! You and your little crew, with your perfect little lives, you don't have a fucking clue what it's like to suffer!!! You have everything you need in life plus more, and you flaunt it all without being grateful for any of it!!!"

"What is he talking about..?!" Jade's eyes were wide in fear, an arm around Fiona to help her stand, who's glare was as sharp as a kitchen knife.

"He's lost his mind."

"Oh sure!!! Now I'm the cruel one, now I'm the crazy one because I can finally make you feel all the pain that you never knew existed!!! Your lives aren't so perfect anymore, huh?!?"

"Our lives were never perfect to begin with, Wes!!! We have no idea what you're talking about!!!" Gabe yelled back with the same anger, his fangs shining in the moonlight as he growled, eyes glowing yellow.

But his smirk only grew. "Not anymore!!! From now on, I'll make sure you're never happy for as long as you keep breathing!!!"

He was about to launch over more daggers, when a thick crystal blue wall surrounded the four teens, footsteps heard as they ran over. A small growl escaped Wes's lips, when he suddenly disappeared from sight.

The four of them turned to see Aiden and Sage running over with worried expressions, Aiden's eyes glowing bright blue as he made the wall stronger, Sage running inside. "What happened here?!"

They wanted to explain, they had to warn them. But their bodies ached so much, and their minds so exhausted, that all four of them ended up fainting there and then, letting them float in the endless void of darkness..
