A small groan escaped my lips, my eyes opened as I yawned. I sat up, finding myself in the same classroom.

This nightmare.. again..

Unlike the other times though, I was alone. No other students around me, purr silence.

Well, almost.

The familiar shadow was already sitting on the desk, which soon formed into the person I already know.

Ryan.

I wasn't afraid anymore though.

Not this time.

"What do you want."

He let out a chuckle. "Well, someone has an attitude."

"I already defeated you. Your plan wasn't as good as you thought. If you think you can scare me into destroying my own home again, you're wrong."

To my surprise though, he began to laugh in a taunting manner, mocking me. "Oh! Oh little blossom, you really think that's my plan? I thought you knew me better than that!"

He stood up, and I did the same, my glare not leaving my face as he walked over. "I did say I'd return, I just didn't say when."

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"I'm a fan of surprises, and don't worry. When you least expected, when you forget about all this, when you've moved on from your past.." He placed a finger under my chin, raising it up as a psychotic grin grew on his face.

This time, I harshly smacked his hand away, not flinching at the tone of voice.

"I'd like to see you try.."

...

And I was back on my bed.

It had been a week since the incident at school, which Sage and Noah were able to fix with their Cipher powers almost instantly. However, we did get two weeks off from it, so that's a plus.

I sat up, thinking about this last dream. He couldn't break the family we had built, he tried and failed.

Ashley tried, and failed.

My fear tried, and failed.

We were strong, and we all cared for each other. There's nothing he could do.

I sat on the car. Mabel had invited a bunch of people from our school to go to the party, and Sage agreed to take me.

Sitting on the passenger seat, I stared outside the window, thinking of what happened.

"Alright, I know that face. What's bothering you, Al?" I heard Sage ask.

"... I had another nightmare. With Ryan."

Her expression fell a bit, staying quiet for a few seconds. "... what happened this time..?"

"He spoke to me again, though the classroom was completely empty this time. He said he'd be back one day to break our family." I turned to her with a smile. "But I think that's impossible. We've already had people try to destroy it, and we're all still together."

She smiled back at me, eyes still focused on the roll. "Heh, true.

After a while, we reached Mabel and Dipper's relative's home. I hopped out, giving Sage a wave, and walking inside.

Mabel noticed me almost instantly, running over with a wide smile as Snow followed behind. "Hey girlfriend!!"

"Hey guys! Have the others arrived yet?"

"I think I saw Varian by the snack table, and Dipper's getting ready for Snow."

"Wait, huh?"

Mabel quickly covered her mouth, giving a sheepish grin. "I-I mean- NOTHING, I said nothing, totally nothing, I'm quiet!!"

Snow stared at her in confusion, but I couldn't help but snicker. As if on cue, I spotted Dipper walking down the stairs wearing his usual flannel, but buttoned up, and a small black bow tie.

Ooh, is someone planning to confess~?

"Hey Dipper, over here!!" I waved my arm, letting him see us and walk over.

"Hey."

His cheeks grew a little pink at the sight of Snow, who which to everyone's surprise, had her hair down today. She normally had it in pigtails, and very rarely in two bums, but she did look really cute with the loose hair.

"So, uh, Snow.." Dipper started, gently gripping his arms. "You maybe wanna get some snacks, or punch, or something..?"

"Oh, sure..!" She replied with a warm smile, both of them walking away.

Mabel and I exchanged goofy smiles before giggling, they were so cute adorable together!

"Why all the laughter?" We both turned to see Leo walking over, two cups of punch in hand.

Mabel simply smiled. "Oh nothing, just seeing a ship fluttering to success."

He snickered a bit. "Okay then?"

I looked at the two plastic cups, smiling a bit. "So, are those both for you or....?"

"Hm?" He looked down at them, his cheeks growing a bit red. "Oh, this, I uh.." He glanced at Mabel a few times, then looked away with a small glare as he offered the cup to her. "I just brought incase you wanted a drink.."

Mabel happily took it. "Aw, Leo, you shouldn't have!"

"Yeah yeah.." He then turned to me. "I didn't know you were at the party yet, so sorry for not getting you one."

"Nah, it's cool. I'm not thirty." I began to walk away. "I'll leave you two to chat!" Without him noticing, I gave Mabel a wink as encouragement to flirt with Leo.

I walked around for a bit, looking around for Varian. I felt a soft tap on my shoulder, turning around and seeing Diana standing in front of me, her arms crossed. "Hey."

"Oh, hey."

"I uh.. I wanted to thank you, for saving me a few days ago.. And saving everyone.."

I smiled. "Don't mention it, I'm just happy everyone's okay."

"Yeah well, I also wanna say sorry for bothering you for these past few months.. You're actually pretty cool."

"Thanks! You're not too bad yourself."

She then waved me off, walking away. I couldn't help but laugh, it was good to know there was some good in her.

"Diana being nice?" I turned to see Varian walking over to me. "That's new."

I giggled a bit. "Well I did kinda save her life."

"Like a superhero."

"Ehhh..... I did kinda cause the whole thing in the first place.."

He placed a soft kiss on my cheek. "Well, we're all still alive thanks to you, and we owe you for it."

"You don't owe me.. But I am glad you're all okay."

He smiled, and then his cheeks grew a bit pink, making me tilt my head. That's when he pulled out a small box from his pocket. "S-so, uh.. I got you something.."

"Huh..?"

He opened the tiny white box, revealing a pair of pink flower shaped crystal earrings, my eyes widening. "I saw them a few days ago in town, and they reminded me of you.."

I took the box, smiling. "Varian, they're beautiful..!!" I looked up at him. "But you really didn't have to do this.."

"I know, but you're worth it.."

I felt my cheeks heat up, taking the earrings and putting them on. "Well, I love them.. Thank you.."

Long story short, we all had a wonderful time at the party. Leo and Mabel actually became an official couple, and though Dipper was too shy to confess to Snow, there was already something very obvious between them.

However, even through all the joy and laughter, there was worry in the back of my head from that nightmare..

Ryan was dead, we were sure of that. He had been for four years now, his powers would never pass on.

I mean, the only way that's possible is for him to have a child, but that's impossible.

Right?
