~~~~~~~~~Noah's POV~~~~~~~~~

I could only stare in disbelief at what was happening.

I was so confused, I knew this was Iv, yet it didn't feel like she was here at all. It felt like an entirely different person had stolen her voice, only to torment me.

"What the fuck is this?!?" Alexa asked, baring her teeth in anger.

As she walked closer to us, Iv's footsteps would sink into the ground a bit, leaving a melted area. I didn't know what to do, what to say.

Justin pulled out his gun again, and before I could do anything to stop him, he had already shot Iv three times.

However, to all our surprises, Iv was only pushed back a little. It wasn't long until she let out a laugh, her eyes pulsing a deep red. Justin continued to shoot her, eventually running out of bullets.

But Iv was unharmed..

"Hah, sorry, darlings, that won't work right now~.."

Both Alexa and Justin pulled out swords, which as this point I myself doubted they'd be effective.

Justin was the first to attack, swinging his sword at her multiple times, which Iv dodged with us. The part that really scared me though was his last attack. Iv avoided it, grabbing his wrist which caused him to let out a loud scream of pain as she burned through his skin.

I could feel my hands trembling as she threw him to the wall, continuing to walk over to us. I let out a yell as Alexa grabbed my neck, forcing me onto my feet as she dragged me away.

I didn't know what to think, I just knew I was afraid. I was afraid for Iv, and for myself. I know she'd never do anything like this, I know she'd never hurt me.

And yet, I'm not sure if this is her in the first place..

That's scares me a lot, too..

Alexa dragged me out of the factory, and eventually into the forest. I had tried to struggle away from her, but I was still so weak from my lack of abilities she could easily control me.

"L-let me go..!!" I tried to let out as I struggled against the chains, attempting to escape one last time.

She pressed her sword against my neck, making me freeze as I turned even paler than I already was. "I don't know what happened in there, but we're gonna get this over with."

"Over with what~..?" Before Alexa could look back, Iv had already grabbed her arm and harshly threw her against a tree.

She then grabbed Alexa by her neck, who as much as she wanted to screen, was unable to do to Iv slowly burning her neck.

I hated Alexa.

More than anyone.

But Iv wasn't a murderer.

As Alexa lost her energy, the chains that held me down slowly faded away, and I managed to run over to Iv.

I grabbed her by her shoulders, pulling her back and trying my best to ignore the burning pain that came from my hands. "Iv, stop it!!!"

She was now facing me, a cold yet angry expression on her face. I was terrified at what she'd do to me, but this was the only thing I could think of that could maybe bring her back.

But she didn't want to hurt me..

"They hurt you! I'm only returning that pain!" She said through gritted teeth, glowing even more than she already was. She wanted to protect me.

But this wasn't her, she would never go to the verge of murder.

"This isn't you!!! You'd never hurt others on free will!!! Stop this!!!"

To my surprise, she stayed silent, and her glow began to slowly fade. Her eyes suddenly turned back to normal as she took in a sharp breath, falling onto me as I wrapped my arms around her, seeing her slowly return to normal.

The skin on my hands were covered in blisters and blood, which I won't lie hurt as hell.

She was now unconscious, resting on my chest. I saw Alexa in an even worse state, but I knew she was alive.

She didn't deserve to live, but I was just thankful Iv was okay now..

Or at least, I think she is..

I took a deep breath, trying to keep myself steady as I picked Iv up in my arms, heading back home.

I had no idea how I would explain what just happened..
