I had just arrived home from GFU, throwing my bag onto the living room nightstand before letting myself fall onto the couch with sigh.

Finally, the last test for the week, thank God!

I looked over at the kitchen. I could really go for some coffee right now. I stood up, walking over and getting coffee and milk.

After a few minutes, I poured the sugar into my coffee, taking a sip.

Perfection, as always.

"You like coffee too, huh?"

"AH!" I screamed at the sudden voice, turning around and throwing my coffee mug at whoever was there out of instinct.

Noah quickly flew out of the way in surprise, my mug breaking and spilling on the floor.

I let out a sigh of relief. "Dude, what the hell!"

"S-sorry- I'm sorry! I didn't expect that reaction." He replied.

"Instinct of mine, you can't scare me and expect me not to try to attack, you never know." I said, starting to pick up the broken pieces.

"Here." I heard him say before the mug returned to its normal state, with coffee, in my hands. I waited two seconds before standing up.

"Uh- thanks."

"No problem. Sorry for startling you-"

"BOO!!!" I yelled as I teleported behind him, making him yell and stumble back.

I snickered before bursting into laughter, holding onto my sides from how hard I was laughing. "Fucking hell!!!!" I heard him yell. I tried to speak, but I was laughing far too hard to even breath.

Finally I took a deep breath, calming down. "Oh, that was amazing."

"On second thought, I'm not sorry." He said with an annoyed expression.

"You started this, I'm only returning the favor." I poked his cheek. "You should've seen your face, though!"

"Haha." He laughed sarcastically.

I walked back to the living room, taking a sip of my coffee after sitting on the couch. I placed my mug on the table in front of me before getting my red GameStation 4 controller. Noah quickly flew over (in his hawk form) and landed on the armrest, his eyes a bit widened. "You have a GS4?"

"Yeah?" I answered, it was honestly a stupid question.

He looked at me. "How many games do you have?"

I pointed over to a shelf filled with games. "Most of those are mine. Alyse has a few, and Aiden doesn't really like video games."

He flew over to the shelf, looking at all the games.

Dude, respect our privacy, please.

I heard him let out a gasp. "You have COD?!?"

"What is with you and asking stupid questions? If it's on my shelf, it means I have it." I responded, turning on my console.

He flew back down, holding the game in his beak, landing on my GameStation with puppy eyes.

".... what are you doing?"

"Can I play?" He asked. "I haven't played this in forever."

I thought for a bit before letting out a sigh, opening a drawer. "Pick one. The blue one is Aiden's, the pink is Alyse's, and we have an extra green one."

He squeaked, picking up the green controller. This guy was certainly not what you'd expect at first glance.

We had spent around two hours playing COD together. And honestly? I had a great time!

I will admit I underestimated Iv at the start, she was incredible at the game. But she wasn't the only one. 

"Alright, I will admit, you're pretty good." She looked at me with a playful grin. "I haven't met a worthy opponent until now."

I chuckled. "You're not too bad yourself, Miss Ivangelys."

"Shut up." She said as she gently punched my arm, making me laugh a bit. She then looked at her phone, her eyes widening a bit as she cursed under her breath.

"What's wrong?"

She grabbed her back, standing up. "I got class in less than half an hour, I gotta go." I nodded in response as she began to walk to the door.

"Hey." I looked over, seeing her open the door, then look at me with a smile. "Same time tomorrow?"

I hadn't noticed the smile that grew on my face. "Yeah." I answered.

She then left, leaving me by myself in the room. For a family that was apparently evil and dangerous, they sure did know how to hide it.

But I can't let them get to me, we have a job to do.
