[I have preview of a future chapter that doesn't really give away much. I usually do this so I don't forget the idea later on and what better than share it.

I'm also sorry that I keep changing this book's cover again, but this time its staying. And I love it more than the first two.

"No." Spinel frowns deeply and stands up from her kneeling position with a hard glare at the figure that stood a few feet away. "I'm not abandoning her. I'm also doin' what a best friend should always do." With a flick of her wrist above her gem, the pink weapon draws out into the scythe. "Our oath as a Spinel is to refresh the soul of all, especially to those who WE care about. Never shall we keep them from the silver lining. We guide them and ourselves to salvation. We show them love, so they all can enjoy being alive!" 

The pink scythe glows vibrant from the energy it holds and Spinel spins it around, pointing it at the figure. "Seems like you need to refresh your memory." 

Their hands tighten around the slightly invisible ribbons, almost glittering like the thin strings from a marionette. 

"Spinel?" Steven says from behind the gem.

She looks back him for a moment then grins with a wink, "Don't worry, Stevo. I've got this. Free the others." 

Steven gulps then urges Connie, his dad, Onion, and the smaller gem to leave through the dark corridor. 

Spinel feels that that they left and leans on the handle of the rejuvenator with a smirk, "Now that we're alone…...give it all you got!" Spinel immediately springs up toward the figure as they do the same, both raising their weapons. The intense moment seeming in slow motion.
