Shizuku’s POV

"Usagi, my power is useless!" I shouted.

"Burn!" A voice shouted. Fire surrounded the Akumu and burnt until it disappeared.

A piece of glass or something appeared and someone took it. It must be the fragment Usagi was talking about.

I look up to see a girl wearing the same clothes as me- except there were several bear hairclips in her hair that is red and the bottom is orange- like fire. She is also wearing the same weird clothes as me except hers was bright pink.

"Who are you?" I asked her.

"You can call me Hono Moeru." She winked at me.

"Moeru?!"

"Yes, Shizuku-kun." She said with a smirk.

"My powers are cool, Kuma." She said and a creature that somehow looked like Usagi appeared, well except it has bear ears and its a guy.

"Yup, you’re lucky you have a cool name." He said and looked at me and Usagi.

"So you’ve got a girl with a useless power." He smirked at Usagi.

"Its not my fault!" She complained.

"So, how did you become one, Moeru?" I asked.

"Well, earlier as I was in the club room, I opened the windows to get fresh air, but then there were shooting stars falling everywhere then one hit me right in the face! And that is Kuma."

"Pft..." Usagi tried to keep her laughter in. "Hahahaha! Kuma really doesnt know how to land!"

"Shut up Usagi! Its not like you landed in somewhere nice!" He shouted.

"You’re right! As I remember she landed in the road." I said.

"Hahahaha! Who is the one that doesnt know how to land, huh?"

"So we have the same mission?" I asked them.

"Yeah and I would love to work with you, Shizuku-kun."

"I told you to stop calling me that!"

"Oh, by the way Kuma, how to turn back to normal?" She asked.

"I thought you read the contract?"

"Yeah, I did."

"How come you didnt know-"

"I skimmed." She said and he face palmed.

After school, I went to the astronomy club. As I close the door, I unzipped my bag and Usagi came out.

"Yo, Shizuku-kun, Usagi-kun." Moeru greeted us.

"Dont call me that!" Usagi complained.

"Yeah, whatever." She sighed.

"So, how do we find these fragments easily?" I asked.

"Good question, Shizuku-kun." Kuma said.

"Dont copy Moeru!"

"Yeah. We have these tracking device or whatever you call it. Its used to know if an Akumu is near." Usagi said, showing a compass-like thingy to us.

"You mean, it only works if it is near?" I asked. And the two half animals nodded.

"That’s useless!" And Moeru said what I wanted to say.

"Yep, its useless." I agreed.

"Can we forget about the whole magical stuff for now? Who wants to go eat outside?" Moeru said and we all agreed.

There are many people in the place.... We shouldnt have went to a popular one. All of the tables were occupied.

"Oh look, there are two seats in the table!" Moeru said.

"But a girl is sitting there." I said.

"Maybe she’ll agree to share a table with us." She said.

"I dont think that’s a good ide-" Before I can finish whatever I am saying she’s already talking to tha girl.

"She agreed!" She happily said.

"I’ll go order. You talk to the girl." She said. I went to the table and sat on a chair beside the girl.

She is weaeing the same uniform as me. Maybe a schoolmate? Bjt I wonder why she’s eating alone.

"Hello." I greeted.

"Hi. That doll looks cute." She said and pointed at Usagi who is sitting in my shoulder.

"Thank you." I said with a smile.

"Here’s the food!" Moeru came with a tray of food and sat down with us.

"Eh, but I dont want a burger." I said and gave it to Moeru.

"Thank, Shizuku-kun." She said. "Oh, what about fries?"

I nodded and she gave her fries to me. I started eating.

"Ah, you have a doll like her." The girl said.

"Yeah. Cute, isnt it?" She said and put Kuma on the table.

"Yep."

Minutes after that, we finished eating.

"Ah we need to go. Bye and thank you!" Me and Moeru said.

"Its okay. Um, we go to the same school so can we be friends?" She asked.

"Sure." I said. "I’m Shinkai Shizuku."

"My name’s Hono Moeru." Mleru said. "See you at school tomorrow!"

And we walked down the streets.

"Oh yeah, we dont know her name." I said and Moeru laughed at me.

The monsters here are called Akumu and it means nightmare in Japanese. Its not from the Akuma in Miraculous Ladybug (btw I love this show)
