Shizuku's POV

'This class is boring'

I thought as I looked on the window, trying to focus in something else, not even paying attention in class.

Shinkai Shizuku. 15 years old. Third year middle school (9th grade) student. Even though it seemed to be kind of weird, to tell you the truth, my dream is to be a mahou shoujo.

See, weird right? But I am weird too, so nothing about it is weird for me. Did I mention that my life is weird? (I said the word 'weird' too many times. Weird, right? I said it again.)

"Class dismissed." The teacher said and left the classroom.

Moments after that, my classmates started running towards the door. Why are they so excited to get out of here? After all the running students went out of the door, I stood up from my seat and headed towards the astronomy club.

"Hey, Shizuku-kun." The club president, Hono Moeru. She calls everyone in the club with the honirific '-kun'. Its funny and weird at the same time.

"Are we having any activities today?" I asked her.

She shook her head. "None. You can go home now if you like."

"Then, I'll go now. Bye." I said.

"Bye, take care!" She said and I closed the door.

As I was walking in the street, I looked up to the sky. I was expecting to see the beautiful afternoon sky but all I saw is a shooting star. Wait, what?! A shooting star this early?!

I was looking at it but then, it fell right in front of me.

Strange, when something like that falls, it creates some sort of impact or something like that, right? But when it fell, it just hit the ground and made a small hole in the ground. Is this some kind of a joke?

I bent down and looked at the thing that is supposed to be a shooting star. It looks like some.....stuffed animal. Everything that happens in my life is so weird.

Again, I looked up to the sky to see hundreds- no maybe thousands of shooting stars. The sky is filled with shooting stars! So scary! And it seems like all of them will fall in this city. Even more scarier!

Even though I have always adored the stars, seeing this makes me scared.

And as my knees started shaking, because of too much fear, all of the so-called 'shooting stars' fell in the city as I predicted, but when they became close to the ground, they turned into....light? So weird.

"Hey." I heard a voice.

"Eh? Who?" I asked as I took a step backwards.

"Down here." The voice said.

I looked down to see something that shocked me.

"Hey!" It said again.

It looked like a small human but it have bunny ears. It looks so cute but wait, it talks- IT TALKS!

"Wah! Why are you talking!" I shouted and pointed at it.

"Well its not my fault that I was born with a mouth. Anyways, my name is Usagi." It talked again and the fly- IT FLIES!!!

"Y-you can talk.....you can fly...."

"Well, I'm a magical creature, deal with it." She said, flipping her hair.

"The stars that fell earlier, are all of them like you?" I asked.

"Not really. Most of them are fragments of the dendetsu no hato kurisutaru or legendary heart crystal." She said.

"Fragments of the legendary what?" I asked.

"Legendary heart crystal. The fragments are placed inside a Akumu, monster-like creatures that protect the fragment." She explained

"So, what does that thing do?" I asked.

"It is a powerful crystal that grants someone a wish. It is so powerful that it can bring dead to life."

"Wow that thing sounds cool." I said.

"It is. And I want you to help me collect all the fragments." She said.

"Eh? Why would I do that? It only grants one wish anyway." I said and started to walk away but she followed me, flying.

"No, it is one wish per person. If we work together, we will both have our wishes granted." She said.

"I still wont help you. Go find it yourself."

"Really? I'm sure you also have a wish." She said, smiling.

"Yeah I do bit its a bit impossible."

"The crystal can grant anything! Come on, tell me."

"I.... I want to be a mahou shoujo." I said and covered my face.

She'll laugh at me.

"That's what you will become if you help me!" She said while grinning.

"Then, I'll help you!" I said happily.

"Help me what?" She smirked.

"Help you collect the fragments."

Finally, the day has come where my dream will come true....
