On that sunny day, the other three guardians, Ezen, Violet and Auria, were repairing their mansion located on the rocky shores of Etheralia.

"Why am I the only one cleaning the whole stupid kitchen?" Ezen complained as he wiped the wet floor.

"Because you didn't help me tide up the bedrooms." Violet sighed.

"I was ordering a pizza for us." Ezen winked.

"That took like 3 seconds for you."

"Then, why didn't you do it, huh?"

"Because I was busy cleaning your messed up room. What kind of person uses his bed as a wardrobe." Violet rolled her eyes.

"Being handsome has responsibilities. I can't just deal with tidying up my room all day." Ezen ran his hand through his hair.

"You keep acting childish while I am trying to make a decent conversation here."

"Guys, stop!" Auria put in.

Ezen gulped, and Violet covered her mouth; they both avoided eye contact with Auria.

"I wonder why Piko and Lola are taking so long. I hope they are safe." Auria said with wandering eyes, gazing upon her star bracelet.

"To be honest, I am worried about them too. If only Ezen accepted going with them, they would be so much safer." Violet put her hands around her waist as she turned her face to Ezen.

"But then I would lose the chance to be home alone with you." Ezen winked.

"Oh, come on, shut up." Violet rolled her eyes.

Ezen leaned closer to Violet and narrowed his eyebrows as he gazed upon her face.

"What are you doing?" She pushed him away.

"I am trying to see if you are blushing or not." Ezen sighed.

"Why would I blush?" She turned her face to the other side.

Suddenly, the alarm began ringing as red lights flashed inside the mansion. A digital map appeared on the kitchen table, which showed the kingdom of Etheralia, marking a location as "New Mission".

"People of Etheralia is in danger. Let's go." Auria prompted.

"Isn't that the Central Arena?" Ezen guessed as he checked the marked location.

"Yeah. Let's go." Violet grabbed her necklace as they went outside.

The Central Arena was located in the middle of the kingdom. It was the most crowded place in Etheralia that day because of a sports event.

Auria, Ezen and Violet rushed inside the arena, where hundreds of people were on the grandstands. The sunlight was brightening the green colour of the grass on the field. On the other hand, the audience seemed excited as they were cheering and screaming.

"What is going on? Those people don't look like they are in danger?" Ezen turned around in the middle of the empty field.

"Something is off." Auria said as she stared at her bracelet.

A green-haired woman landed in front of the crystal guardians. There were daggers attached to the belts around her black blouse and jeans.

"Hello, thrash guardians. I am Katherina, the Battle Princess!" She snickered as she introduced herself.

"What do you want?" Auria asked.

"A deal."

"What is it?"

"I want to fight. If you win, I will leave. But if I win, you will leave this kingdom, and Etheralia will be under my control forever!" Katherine explained.

First, Auria turned her face to Ezen, who was on her right, then to Violet, who was on her left. Ezen shook his head sideways as his body was shaking in fear. But Violet nodded.

"I accept your challenge!" Auria announced as she squeezed her fist.

"Let's begin!"

Katherina jumped into the air while throwing daggers onto Auria. Her attack was extremely fast. Auria couldn't dodge every dagger, letting Katherina stab her from her shoulder.

"I've met snails faster than you. Next." Katherina quipped as she tossed her hair.

Auria took out the dagger from her shoulder. However, her scar began bleeding more.

"Are you okay, Auria?" Violet was concerned.

Unexpectedly, Auria opened her mouth while she fell over the ground before saying anything. She was unsteady, but her eyes were open.

"My blades are poisonous. One cut, and you're out." The Battle Princess Katherina snickered.

"Oh no. We are losing already." Ezen said in a trembling voice.

"Don't be a coward. You have to fight. You are our only choice now." Violet comforted him while she put her hand on his shoulder.

"What about Auria?" He continued shaking in fear.

"I will heal her while you're combating Katherina."

"Why do I have to fight her alone?" Ezen gulped.

"Because I don't know how to fight." Violet rolled her eyes.

"Have you stopped talking?" Katherina sighed.

"Can you give us a minute, please?" Ezen implored.

Katherina gave a half-smile as she threw a knife that stabbed Violet from her leg. Violet immediately fell over the ground.

"Now, only one of you left." Katherina turned her eyes onto Ezen.

"Oh no! Violet! Wake up!" Ezen's blue eyes filled with tears.

Katherina licked a knife and threw it onto Ezen. He jumped, quickly dodging the knife. Then, he leapt to the other side, dodging another blade.

Ezen took a deep breath, closed his eyes and pulled his blonde hair back.

"I am Ezen, the fourth crystal, guardian of Lyndra's sword."

Red thunderbolts descended from the sky down to Ezen's hand. His outfit changed into a white shirt and white trousers with a red belt. Then, a red hooded cape completed his suit as electricity flew through his body. Lastly, his blonde hair parted from the middle while the crimson coloured crystal sword formed in his hand.

Katherina continued to throw daggers at Ezen, but he slashed each one of them into two with his crimson sword.

"You are not just handsome; you are powerful too. It makes me wanna kill you and kiss you at the same time." Katherina licked her upper lip.

"Thanks but the only girl who can kiss me is Violet!" Ezen ran his hand through his hair.

Katherina yelled in outrage as she jumped in the air. She spun around herself at tremendous speed, tossing blades onto Ezen. Although he blocked some of them with his sword, the blades were continuously raining on him.

The knives left hundreds of scars all over Ezen's body, causing him to fall next to Violet and Auria.

"Now, I will kill you and conquer Etheralia." Katherina stepped closer to them.

"It's not over." Violet struggled to speak.

"How are you still able to talk?" Katherina's eyes widened.

"I am Violet, the fifth crystal, guardian of healing!"

A green wind blew over Violet's skin, lifting her up from the ground. At first, the scars on her body disappeared as her hair turned green. Then, her ears turned into elf ears, her eyes turned pink, and her outfit changed into a long green dress with the power of the green wind. The crystal on her necklace was now glowing green again.

"Power of the legendary goddess Amaryllis, come and heal my friends!" Violet raised her necklace to the sky as the green wind blew stronger.

"It's impossible." Katherina gasped, widening her eyes.

"Don't mess with the crystal guardians ever again." Auria said once she stood up. There were no longer scars around her shoulder.

"I am Auria, the first crystal, the guardian of light!" She closed her eyes, letting the light emerge with her body.

Auria opened her arms wide open while six angelic wings appeared behind her. Lights shone around her, and star symbols appeared on the waist and neck of her new white dress with purple opera gloves and purple knee-high boots.

"Nice comeback, guys." Ezen winked as he got back on his feet too.

Katherina quickly started throwing knives onto them, but Auria's wings blocked her every attack.

"Ultimate Light Beam!" Auria said, causing her wings to glow, sending millions of light rays onto Katherina.

It was too bright for the audience to see what was happening. Eventually, Katherina got knocked down to the ground by the impact of the light rays.

"We win!" Violet announced while the green wind blew around her.

"Violet, you were awesome!" Ezen was amazed.

"Thanks."

"By the way, I heard what you said about me." Violet added, and she gave a quick cheek kiss to Ezen.

"Really?" Ezen's eyes widened as his cheeks turned pink.

"Let's go back home. Piko and Lola might be back." Auria put in, looking at her star bracelet.
