"Meeii~" Leraje keeps calling my name from the other side of the room. I let out a sigh and rub the back of my neck. It had been aching ever since I started on paper work. "Just a few more minutes okay?" I reassured him.

"You've been saying that since this morning!" He whines again. I huff and finish this last document before setting it off to the side to let the ink dry. I stand up and stretch, working out all the nots in my back and neck.

"Okay, okay. I'm all yours now." I tell him and in an instant he's beside me with his arms wrapped around me and his face in my chest. I can hear him take a deep breath and a small smile forms on my face. He told me once that he liked the way I smelled, or my scent is what he called it. In a way he said it reminded him of back then, which really puzzled me since I can only remember a little.

"Leraje?" I ask while running my fingers through his hair. He lets out a hum and looks up at me. His eyes were half lidded. "Yes Mei?" he said sweetly.

I hesitate for a second. "What was it like? Back then?"

I feel him go still against me and his eyes narrow a bit and he presses his lips in a thin line. He licks his lips. "you have to be specific about that." he whispers and I sigh. It had been a week now and I had finally mustered enough courage to actually ask him. I honestly didn't know what to expect and I bit the bottom of my lip.

I take a deep breath and look back at him. "Fine. What exactly is back then? Is it another world or is it just the past?" I can see his eyes cloud over as he thinks of a proper response.

"To give you a correct response. Both." he says smirking a bit and wrapping his arms around my neck. Then almost instantly he lets me go and sit on my bed. I was about to question him until there was a knock at my door. I look at him and his gaze is on the paper door.

I make my way to door and slide it open.. Hakuei was there and she had an unreadable expression on her face.

"Mother has requested an audience with us." she says sternly. I nod my head and give Leraje one last look before closing the door and following her down the hall.

Many thoughts ran through my mind as we walked in silence. The majority of them being what the sudden meeting was about. I mentally sigh at myself, you're getting too worked up Mei.

We enter the room and take a seat at the long table in the center of it. Our mother at the head. She stares at each and everyone of us with a smile and it gives me the shivers. Let me say, I honestly don't know how I feel about her, I will say that I'm not comfortable around her. It was as if her mere presence out me on edge.

I look to the side to see my older brother, En, sitting across from Kuei, both were tense, I could tell, but to others they might've seemed very relaxed.

"Today I'd like to address the time when the King of Sindria comes. He should be arriving tomorrow, and I'd like you three to meet him upon arrival." she says with a smile, I'm starting to get dizzy from looking at it.

We all nod.. "Also, the investigation on the Koga Clan went well, thanks to Kuei." she praises our sister. Kuei barely spares the woman a glance as some council members praise and clap for her.

"I'd also like to thank Mei for the war plans." she says, eyeing me in a cat like way. It was as if she knew something I didn't.

Maybe she did.

It kind of scared me.

Leraje sits on Mei's bed, looking up at the ceiling. Anubis was laying across his lap, sleep. The dragon's let's out a hum which wakes the dog from his nap. Seeing this, Leraje pets his head.

Then he felt it.

He sits straight up, causing the dog to move off him and stare at him in curiosity. Leraje closes his eyes and let's a tingly feeling pulse through his body.

One was close. Another one of his kind.

It was one that was already awakened like he was. Not in their 'sleeping state' they were originally put in. But that wasn't what he was worried about.

So far he felt.... Three..... Five..... Seven?!

Fucking Seven?!

They were advancing toward this area as well, at a steady place, but their aura was very low. Which meant they weren't in the dragon from and in their human form like he is. He shivers at the fact, not in fear, but excitement.. Maybe they could help. Help him find the others and beat that horrible son of a bi-

"Leraje." Mei says as he slide open the door. Anubis perks up and runs off the bed to his master. Leraje turns toward me and walks over to him, falling into his chest. Before Mei could speak about the meeting Leraje spoke.

"There are more." Mei raises his eyebrows. Leraje tilts his head up so his chin rested against Mei's chest, his eyes changed to a bright lavender color. "There are seven other dragons coming." he stares and Mei freezes up. Leraje keeps staring into the others eyes. "By the rate they are traveling, they'll be here..... Tomorrow."

Mei blinked at the new found information. Then he began to piece a few things together in his head just to be sure.

His hands began to rub up and down the others arms. "Tomorrow we are having a king from a foreign country visit and to negotiate. Is there a possibility....?" he trails off. Leraje was still staring at him, unblinking, Mei began to worry. Leraje slowly nods his head and makes a silent "yes."

Mei narrows his eye. " But he has to be with someone as well, right? You did say that there were seven of them."

Leraje finally closes his eyes. "There could be a possibility that there could be more that one residing in one body." leraje spoke, however the hell that worked, he didn't care, his head was starting to hurt pretty bad.

Mei lets put a sigh, he still wasn't understanding a thing about the mess. But this information intrigued him. He also thought if he should tell Kuei since she also knew about Leraje and the dragons. Then an idea came to mind.

"Do you think you can contact them? Or sense them? You know, tell which one it is?" Mei asks and Leraje stands still. "It's possible, it takes a lot of energy of the dragon's aren't bonded. But possible." Mei nods.

Leraje concentrated hard and focused and Mei took a step back to not bother him. He tried hard to reach out to the strongest and closest one because believe him, it was beginning to hurt like a real ass using this much energy.

He picked up a presence and a shock goes through his body, his eyes snapped opened for a moment.

He got one.

Whoever it was felt strangely familiar. And that could mean a good thing. He was sure he knew whoever it was. Then a deep voice vibrated through his head.

"Leraje."

Mei watches as a small smile appears across Leraje's face. "Hey Baal. Good to hear your old ass."

So if you read Magi you'll probably know who Baal is and you'll probably know what'll happen next. Hehe...

As for Leraje's personality he's still cute, but less innocent and a lot of naughty. Haha.

So yea. The reason for my absence is that I've been sick for a while and now I have this horrible cough. It started a few weeks ago when I really got sick but I still went to school which kind of made it worse. Not to mention that I slept through the WHOLE WEEKEND!! Like dang.

I also failed the entrance exam. Ugh. It was sooo hard. But I did a retake today so yay! The sort of good news is that I passed 1/3 parts of the test the first time so meh.

So yea I'm still kinda sick. The only reason I updated was because I read the latest chapter of Magi and started updating all my Magi fanfics (including this one) I have like ssoooo many.. Eh.
