I look at this man in front of us. He has long purple hair and bright gold eyes. He had on many jewels as well. Something about the air around him reminded me of Kouha.

We each greet him but when I greet him I see his eyes turn to slits before going back to normal and he sniffs. I doubt anyone else noticed it. It was such a quick action.

Our mother stands in front of us and greets him as well. They exchange a few words and with a few guards they head inside the palace.

"Well our job is done here." En says. All we had to do was show face, smile and greet nothing more.

Kuei dusts her robes off a bit. "I'm going back to my studies." She says quietly.

En nods. "I'll be going back to my room then." He says and leaves. I head back my room as well.

I let out a sigh as I slide my door close and lean against it. My eyes search the room for Kouha and I see him sitting on the floor against the bed. He was sleep and Anubis may next to him sleeping as well. I couldn't help but smile at the scene.

I walk forward and pick him up. Anubis stirs and goes back to sleep as I try to move Kouha on the bed.

"...Dantalion... " he mumbles in his sleep and snuggles close to me.

I smile a bit and put him down. In truth I honestly didn't know what would happen when I get all of my memories. Will I be Dantalion or Mei? Or will both of us reside in the same body? I didn't know.

I move his bangs out of his face and sigh. So many unanswered questions.

I move to my desk and grab a couple of scrolls and unroll them. I began to read them and take notes again, might as well so I won't have that much work tomorrow.

A few moments later I hear a yawn next to me and I jump a little and look at Kouha.

He sits next to me, rubbing his eyes and yawning.

"I thought you were finished with work..." He trailed off as he looks at the piles of scrolls on my desk. I reach over and pat his head.

"I am done for today, I was just doing tomorrow's work while you were sleeping."

He looks at the scrolls before taking my hand.

"Sorry, but can we go outside please? I've been in your room for awhile and I'll fly out the window if I stay another day..."

I hum and the thought of him flying around the palace wasn't quite amusing.

I stand and stretch. "Okay." I feel something nudge my leg and look down to see Anubis sniffing it.

While in the garden I made sure there weren't any guards or officials around. Nobody but me and my sister knew of Kouha's appearance so I didn't want any hostilities.

I watch as Kouha plays with Anubis. More like him chases the dog around, I wasn't one to be moving around and be outside so I sat and watched.

"Ah, so you must be Mei?"

I nearly jumped out my skin at the deep voice behind me. I whirl around, expecting an official or something but instead I was greeted with the king that arrived earlier today.

He tilts his head to the side with a crooked smile, eyes gleaming.

I didn't know how to address him so I bowed to him and he returend the gesture.

I hear footsteps and Kouha was at my side in seconds.

"Hi old man!" He greets and I stare at him shocked.

He chuckles, his eyes flashing before turning into slits, and his smile widens into a grin.

"I see you're the same Leraje, be careful on how you address me, this human is of high status."

Kouha chuckles and sits on the grass. Anubis begins to sniff at the man's feet and he let's out a chuckle of his own.

"So this is a dog? Such a strange creature..." He comments and pets Anubis's ears, instead he was met with Anubis licking his hand.

"You've never seen a dog before?" I ask and he looks at me before going back to Anubis. "I have seen them from afar, never up close or in person, even though I've been in this world for awhile."

It takes me a moment to realize that I'm talking to a dragon and not a human. It was a bit confusing.

"Mhm. He's fun to play with and it tickles when he licks your feet."

"I think I'll pass on that." He says and stands up straight. "I cannot stay long. Having six others in one body is quite overwhelming so if we talk we do it now."

Kouha nods before a frown comes across his features. "She's here....."

At that I feel the other stiffen and I become worried a bit since I know nothing of what they're talking about.

"I see I thought I sensed it and was being paranoid at first." He then looks at me. "What about you Dantalion?''

Kouha makes his way over to me and wraps his arms around me. "That's another thing, he want wake up. Mei keeps getting bits of his memories but not all of them. "

At this the man raises an eyebrow. "Oh. My host had a similar problem. I can help."

"Really?" I ask.

He nods, "You might want to get somewhere comfortable as well, you'll have to sleep."

We walk down the hall back to my room keeping a look out for any people and stop when we were in front of my door.

"I'll do it here, I honestly think it will look wrong if someone were to see me exit your room?"

I just nod and he closes his eyes while putting a hand on my head.

"This might hurt, so keep a good hold on him Leraje." I feel Leraje nod against me and a dizziness overcame me. I blink when I feel a sharp pain in my head.

"Get him in before he passes out." I heard him say and it sounded so distant. I felt myself being tugged and pushed against something. Then I felt a weight on my chest.

I closed my eyes.

For some reason I lost the motivation to continue this story but then I realized that thus chapter was already written....
