Crystal smiles brightly as she rushes out of her room in happiness, she nearly trips and crashes on to her staffs, catching herself she apologizes until someone grabs her from behind to put a stop of her running.

"Show the excitement in private" Adrian reminds as he holds her back and Crystal groans before she walks slowly instead of arguing with him as her guest was important.

"Antonio" Adrian greets first interrupting Crystal who was about to shout in excitement.

"My Queen" Giovanni Antonio greets as he bows to Crystal who smiles politely before she walks towards Marissa and hugs the woman.

"I want to squeal in happiness" Crystal confesses making Marissa chuckle.

"So glad to see you too" she whispers and Crystal moves away before she touches Marissa's womb and her eyes glints with tears of happiness.

"Congratulations" she grins turning to face Giovanni who nods and Marissa squeezes Crystal's hand getting her attention back.

"Let's go to your room, I want to hear everything that I missed" she points and Crystal nods before the women walks away.

"Gio is scared we will lose this one as well" Marissa confesses as soon as the door is shut.

"Oh Marissa" Crystal feels sad for her friend.

"But I am staying hopeful"

"It will be alright, I am sure" Crystal tries to assure the woman who sighs.

"With each of my miscarriage Gio looses hope and even if he wants to howl in happiness, he is scared he is celebrating too soon"

"I am sure this one will make it through" Crystal smiles and Marissa nods her head in reply.

"I am wishing the same, if we lost this one as well, I am afraid I will lose Gio too" Marissa confesses and Crystal moves to hug the woman.

"Let's stay hopeful, I have a strong feeling, this one will make it" Crystal states before she touches Marissa's womb.

"You have to little one, for your parents, you will have to make it through" Crystal talks with the child in Marissa's womb.

"Enough about me, what is this whole charade? I thought you already met your mate but this. What is the meaning of calling all the unmated ones?" Marissa asks making Crystal sigh and walk towards her bed.

"They think I cannot rule properly unless I have a mate"

"And you did not think of informing them you already have a mate?" she asks to Crystal who lays on her bed and stares at the ceiling.

"I need to have a mate to prove I have found one, how can I when he is not here?" she asks and Marissa goes to sit beside Crystal.

"Did you not seek him out?"

"He left the village and I have not stepped a foot out of these walls for all these times"

"Crystal, why? You should have gone to look for him"

"Crystal, do not give up so easily, I am sure if you seek him, explained, he is your mate, he is bund to be with you" Marissa points and Crystal shakes her head no.

"He asked me to never show myself"

"Men says a lot of stupid things that does not mean we will follow it all. And, you mean you will stay in this palace for eternity all alone without him? Will you except it if he found someone to be with? Would you survive knowing he had a family, one that would have been yours, but you never went to go search for him...

You never stopped going to him all this time, so why stop when you know somewhere, he felt something for you as well, maybe he just got sacred of the truth, we all get scared at one time. "It's not as easy as you make it" Crystal points.

"But you definitely are making it difficult, he has a sister, right? What if they talked after they left, what if they are scared to be back, hoping you would come after them? Have you ever thought that sometimes our prince may have lost their way to us or got stuck in a situation they cannot get out of?

Sometimes, us woman need to go check on them, see if they have been lost, that is love, it should be both ways, them seeking and searching us just as we are" Marissa points and Crystal bites her lower lip staring at the floor.

"All those times you were with them, you were just Crystal and no one else, they have seen your sweet nature, kind heart and a good soul, do not give up on your mate, he maybe waiting and even if he is not, you cannot let someone else take your place" Marissa whispers as she cups Crystal's face who bursts into tears.

"I am scared he will reject me again, Marissa, I won't be able to survive it this time" she cries and Marissa runs her hand through Crystal's hair.

"He won't" Marissa smiles and Crystal nods her head as she wipes her tears.

"I did not agree to the party to seek a mate, this palace had become very dull and I had a chance to see you" Crystal confesses making Marissa smile.

"Well, in that case we should definitely enjoy the night" Marissa agrees before the women giggles.

Connor turns his head as he senses Jade standing at his door, raising a brow in silence he asks the woman what she wants.

"The boys and I, we may stay few days at the palace so until then do not wander off too far or create any havoc in my pack" she winks at him and Connor silently stares at the ceiling still laying on the bed.

"Well, enjoy your sleep, food, fun and dances are waiting for me" she teases before walking away and Connor grits his teeth in annoyance as her laughter echoes in the house.

"This is such a waste of a good outfit" Crystal sighs as she stares at Adrian.

"You are now a Queen Crystal, would be nice if you acted like that for once" Adrian scolds her back before he narrows his eyes as she gets on her tiptoes and moves towards him with a grin.

"I am a good ruler Ad especially without your rules" she giggles before she asks the guard to open the door, all of the people attending the party stands as soon as the guard makes the announcement of her arrival.

"You feel any connection, you inform me first hand before disappearing" he asks and Crystal giggles as she glances at him.

"Okay, father" she teases and he glares her before stepping aside as people waits for them to walk in.

"Hello everyone" Crystal smiles stopping him as she walks in the room while she feels Adrian's sigh of frustration.

Crystal nods at few of the men and women she had met few other times, while she walks towards her throne. Stepping on it, she turns to face the people before she finally takes a seat.

"To all the unmated ones, if any of you feel any connection with our Queen, you are bound to inform the officials before you claim the Queen" Adrian announces at once making Crystal eye the man in irritation.

"This is not some drill Ad" she grumbles and Adrian faces her.

"It's for your own safety, Queen" he glares at her and she holds herself not to roll her eyes.

"As you see fit, my protector" she smiles.

"If I may be bold to speak" someone starts and Crystal looks towards the new voice.

"My Queen" the man bows and Crystal nods in acknowledgement.

"I am sure there are protocols for your safety, because none of us want to see a beauty such as you in harm's way but all of us unmated are invited for one single reason but if none of us are around you how can we feel the connection?" he asks and Crystal frowns before she eyes Adrian who raises a brow at her in return.

"If by any chance, ne of the unmated ones here tonight is my mate, I am sure just my mere presence or their mere presence will make us feel something we have never felt for any other one" Crystal replies and the man nods with a smile.

"But still a touch would be a blessing" he asks and Crystal stares at the man for a moment before he steps back at once.

"My scent, that should be enough to make my mate go wild" she replies to his question as she lets her scent linger around and the man nods before he walks away knowing he did not have a chance with her.

"Smart" Adrian comments turning his back to Crystal who stays silent at her throne staring at the party on going.

"A dance, My Queen?" a man asks as he puts his hand out for Crystal who smiles politely at him.

"I am not wearing my dancing shoes" she rejects his offer.

"A drink?" some other tries.

"Breathing is the only thing I can do in this dress" she waves his off.

"The music truly is beautiful, tonight"

"Yes, and how I wish I did not have my highest heels on" she replies and the man walks away.

"What?" Crystal hisses to Adrian as she hears him clear his throat.

"Why did you even agreed to this, if you had no plan to even take a mate?" Adrian asks as he walks to stand beside her.

"I thought the night would be filled with food, dance, laughter and catching up with old friends, not me sitting on my throne like some show piece"

"You have rejected about fifteen dancing offers and do not make me state the number of drinks you were offered" he reminds and Crystal sighs.

"I would need a surgery after all those fifteen dances and by now I would be snoring with that much amount of drinks" she points making him chuckle.

"Just few more hours and you can get out" he points.

"Did I not meet every possible male in the whole damn earth?" she asks him.

"Your scent should have been enough to push them away"

"Ah, but the shine of my crown must have pulled them closer" she retorts and he shrugs his shoulders.

"I will look on to her for a while" Giovanni points as he steps to stand in front of Adrian along with his mate.

"Thanks, I need a bathroom break" Adrian smiles gratefully as he steps away from Crystal.

"Will it be a shocking behavior if I fell asleep on my throne?" Crystal asks Marissa who laughs.

"Are you tired?"

"No, but the party is so boring, the music is dull and my body aches for sitting for all this time" she groans.

"Why don't you let Adrian accompany you while you mingle around?" Marissa suggests making Crystal eye the people around.

"All they have in mind is about the mystery man who killed five of my advisors along with other vampires" Crystal points.

"You will have to set a team to look onto it though" Giovanni points and Crystal agrees.

"I will, once this night is over. Now that Ad is back, I wanted to discuss few matters with him"

"Good, if there is anything I can do, let me know" he offers and Crystal smiles.

"All of your presence is enough for me" she states before she stiffens in her seat as a different scent hits her and her head snaps towards the door as it opens.

"Alpha of the pack Summers, Jade Summers" the guard announces making the people frown as no one was announced when they arrived.

"What is she up to now?" Gio sighs as he glances at the arrival of the woman who had a shit eating grin on her face.

"Accompanying her, her friend Lord Connor" the name makes Crystal stand up at once from her seat.

"Crystal?" Marissa calls in worry as she stares at Crystal's face.

"Who is that man?" Giovanni frowns as the man steps his foot in the room and the force of his power makes everyone not just curious but uncomfortable.

"My Queen" Jade smiles as she stares at Crystal whose eyes stays on Connor before Crystal starts to run down the steps to get to him.

"Crystal" Giovanni calls as he tries to grab the woman but fails as his hand only touches air.

"Connor" Jade asks before she feels herself moving away from him but not willingly while the man has his eyes on Crystal.

Everyone watches in surprise and shock as their Queen rush down the steps and things starts moving and falling in their places as if someone was putting it there by their own hands, the people in the way of Crystal moves away.

"Stop her" Giovanni orders but the hands and bodies trying to do so cannot do as asked as Crystal moves along past all of them to reach Connor.

Crystal feels suffocated as she cannot reach Connor soon enough even if she is using her in human speed, she finds the distance between them too face, his scent, makes her want to howl and cry at the same time, howl in happiness that he mate was there in front of her and cry because she wants to have more of that scent.

Crystal's smiles widen as she finally reaches closer only for it to wipe out as she slips and falls down on the floor, the gasps from the room covers the thud of her fall. Crystal slowly raises her head as the crown from her head falls and rolls down towards Connor's stopping next to his foot.

She watches unmoving when he bends and grabs the fallen crown before making his way towards her, gulping she slowly stands up from the ground just as he stands in front of her.

"Are you okay?" Connor asks and not knowing what else to do all she does is stare at his face; one she had not seen for the past one and half year.

"Are you okay?" he asks again and Crystal takes a deep breath as emotions clogs her throat reminding her of their first meeting as those were the exact words, he had asked her.

"I..." Crystal does not get to start as Connor raises his hand with her crown in it.

Crystal glances at her crown before she touches her head realizing she had dropped it, silently she goes to grab the crown to take it back from him but he pushes it away from her reach.

"For a moment, I thought you would run into my arms first" his word startles her and she frowns when he moves to put the crown on her head next, much to her surprise.

"Guess for The Queen her crown comes before her mate" he whispers those words in her ear as he steps away and Crystal raises her hand to touch him but he steps further away from her.

"You know that's not..."

"Mate?" someone asks and Crystal looks around her as the murmurs starts to go on and everyone gathers around congratulating Crystal.

"Crystal" Marissa calls as she moves past few people to reach her friend before her eyes lands on the mysterious man claiming to be Crystal's mate.

"Are you okay?" Marissa asks as she calls for few of the maids.

"I..."

"She needs a moment alone" Marissa states as people does not stopping asking Crystal questions. Marissa whispers to Crystal as she tugs Crystal's hand who eyes Connor once, before she walks away with her friend.

"With her mate" Giovanni points as he nods towards where Crystal and his mate disappeared to asking Connor to follow.
