Jade storms to her office and walks in leaving the door open, she glares as Connor silently walks in before standing at the doorway.

"Explain!" Jade demands and Connor silently turns before he closes the door shut before staring at Jade.

"It's you who needs to do the explaining, you gripped me with something and it definitely was not your wolf's power but something"

"Suddenly you are an expert on wolves?" she asks and he narrows his eyes at her.

"You are not just that" he accuses and she tilts her chin up stubbornly.

"You are a newly turned vampire but the speed and power you showed, the control you have in your nature, that's a bit questionable, don't you think?" she asks him.

"I did not knew we were here to share our secrets" he comments making her narrow her eyes at him.

"I know a bit witchcraft" she confesses and he raises a brow in surprise.

"An Alpha knowing black magic?" he asks.

"Not black magic" Jade informs and Connor stands quietly so she continues.

"My mother, she was friend with some witches and well she learned from them before teaching me it. I am surprised it took you so long to ask me about it though as I used it while we met in your village" she points but Connor says nothing.

"I also know you have been hunting down other vampires, I am surprised no one has raised any questions on the dead ones" Jade points and Connor nods his head.

"I am sorry if my presence in this pack is being stressful"

"No, but your actions may bring one"

"I will be sure to be more discreet on my killings from now on" he states and Jade sighs.

"I understand your hunger..."

"It's not hunger" he growls and Jade takes a seat as she understands.

"If you could give me some names maybe my pack can help you to look for them" she points and he shakes his head no.

"This is my problem"

"Connor, if you share I am sure I can help you"

"You helped me enough Jade but this is the only thing I will allow you to do for me"

"So, you won't tell me about who hurt you?"

"It does not matter, I am getting closer to him"

"So, you do know him?"

"Just one, I don't know other two"

"Three of them?" she frowns as she tries to figure out who might it be.

"If you need my help it's still on the table"

"I don't know how it happens but with each sucking I can feel this surge of power inside of me as if it's not just their blood but even their abilities and powers I am sucking" he admits and Jade nods.

"Maybe you are, have you known what your abilities are each one of us has" she asks and he nods once but when he does not share she does not ask.

"I have to go" he asks and Jade sighs before nodding her head dismissing him.

"Just don't die" Jade teases as Connor steps out of the door but at her words she stops.

"One needs to be alive to die" he states as he disappears.

Few months later....

Crystal sighs sadly as she goes through the letter before she burns the paper, a letter she got from Marisa with the sad news.

"What is it?" Diego asks as he looks at the girl who sighs again.

"Another miscarriage for Marisa and Giovanni, I feel sad" she sighs.

"Another?" Diego frowns at the news.

"Yes, they have been trying a lot for a child but it seems luck is not by their side. It's as if something is stopping them. She is devastated with the news" Crystal points.

"Anyone would be devastated with that news" Diego points and Crystal nods her head before she grabs the cup of tea.

"So, how are things on going inside the palace?" Diego asks her and Crystal sighs.

"Stressful, my advisors thinks I should seek their advice but every advice they give me makes no sense to me"

"So opening the palace like some honeymoon villa for few of the outsider makes sense?" he teases and she laughs.

"Of course I will not agree to it. Imagine as we walk around or do anything all we hear is screams of pleasures and moans of happiness" she laughs making him chuckle.

"But that sure scared you advisors" he points and she sighs.

"They gave me no other option, so I thought auctioning the jewels my family has"

"Do you know what impact it will have when people find the Royals have stopped so low that they are selling jewelries?" he asks raising a brow at her and she rolls her eyes.

"And do you know great friendship begins with women doings ooh's and ahh's on jewelries or ancient pieces?" she points making him frown.

"Do they?" he asks making her laugh.

"You shall see, I will be inviting few of the Alpha's mate for this auction of the jewelries. I mean who does not want a Royal heirloom residing in their family?" she asks making him sigh.

"You are just enjoying tarnishing your family name" he points and she pouts.

"No I am not"

"You are not even listening to yourself, imagine the gossip, the Royal selling the family jewels as they cannot afford to run the palace"

"I have never worried about gossip"

"I would rethink on selling the family jewels Crystal, there are other ways you know to rise up financially"

"You got any ideas?" she asks hopeful and he sighs.

"I am not your advisor nor one of the man to give you any ideas"

"But you are the one who watched me fall face down when I took my first step" she reminds him making Diego stare at her with a blank face.

"Find your mate" hearing his advice Crystal's face turns blank.

"I will take my leave, Aura sends her love" he sighs as he gets up and Crystal nods sitting quietly as he disappears from the place.

"One can only find things that are lost, but how do you find the one running away from you" she asks to no one.

"Only vampires?" Crystal asks as she reads the reports.

"Yes, only vampires, first no one thought about it but the numbers are increasing"

"Any dead bodies?" Crystal asks and the informant shakes his head no.

"If there is no dead bodies how can you be sure they are not just roaming around?"

"Their creators and their mates cannot feel them. The killer must be very smart, clean attacks"

"Any enemies they had or..." Crystal asks.

"We tried to look at it but it seems many of the vampires are sacred with these many numbers of missing vampires, they want your intervention"

"Mine?"

"Yes, they seek your full support, they want to begin a hunt for the killer"

"A hunt? No, I will not allow such thing! And, how can anyone defeat someone they do not even know about, this will just bring more confusions and more misfortunate deaths. Some may take advantage of this situation and kills others blaming the person is a killer" she refuses it.

"What if someone is taking advantage and killing the innocent, putting the blame on that mystery man?" the man points and Crystal nods once.

"We may never know until we find who the killer is, he seems very professional if the killings are so clean and no traces of the bodies. But what I do wonder is, where the bodies are?" she frowns as the man stays silent.

"Anyways, alert the nearby covens and packs, as well as the witches. Also, inform them for co-operation, ask them to keep an eye around, you may never know who will be of help" she asks and the man nods his head before she dismisses him.

"Who are you?" she frowns as she reads the number of disappeared ones.

"She refused for the hunt" the informant informs the men around the room.

"Bitch" one of them curses.

"This is what happens when you let a girl do the biding, today she refuses our request for the hunt tomorrow she will stop us from breathing" the protest.

"It was not my idea to put her on that throne, what else do you think would have happened?" someone else askes.

"Fucking hell, she needs to be stopped. She even let those dogs to stay in that village. Cut off our pays"

"Then cut her off"

"Are you insane? If something happens to her now, riot will start, not everyone is against her. And anyways Diego has been visiting the castle lately. With Adrian and Giovanni out of the way, I was hoping she would now listen to us but no. Stubborn bitch"

"How about we make her disappear?" someone suggests.

"Disappear?"

"Yes. Many vampires are being targeted and disappeared what if she became victims just like them. The traitor whoever he is that is responsible for the deaths can have the honor of her death"

"You think this will work?"

"She has sent the warriors out of the castle, none of her protectors are there, I am sure if we play the card correctly it will not be so hard to clear our path, after all she is the last descendant of the Royal family" the man suggests and the men around the room nods.

"Let do this then" the men agrees before they hear a scream outside alerting them as they hurry out of the room.

Connor stops as he reaches the place, he grips the leg of the body swinging it on the air, he lets go of the body and watches it drop down before the thud of the body is heard along with a scream.

"Who is there?" someone shouts as they stare up at the roof where Connor was standing.

The man tries to make his way towards Connor but jumps away as one more body falls down and as if it's raining the body keeps dropping one by one and the whole ground is nothing but filled with dead bodies.

The pile of the bodies shocks the people, all of them stares at the bodies around them before they heard one more thud and all of their head turns towards the man standing.

"You fucking..." the man stops as he cannot move.

"What the...?" all of them groans as they cannot move at all as if someone is stopping them from moving.

"Where is he?" Connor asks but none of them speak trying their hardest to move their body.

"Who are you?" one of the men asks scared as he cannot move his body.

"No one" Connor whispers as he stands in front of the man before Connor twists his head and the other men gasps in horror as the head falls on the ground but the body remains standing.

"What...what do you want?" one of them asks and Connor sighs.

"Darwin Carlos" Connor asks and the men glances at each other.

"He...he is not here" one of them asks and Connor sighs not liking the answer.

"Then where is he?" Connor asks and the man gulps.

"We...we don't know, he does not hangs out with us"

"You will not be able to hang out with anyone anyways" Connor points as the man gasps before no sound comes through his lips.

"Why are you doing this? You do know we are Queen's advisors right, this is a direct attack on the queen" another one points.

"Sad, you won't be able to tell her so" Connor replies as he grabs the man's head and plucks it off his body as if plucking a flower.

"Whatever Darwin has done we have nothing to do with it, we don't know where he is, you are asking the wrong men" another one shouts scared for his life as he too have been trying to move but is frozen in place.

"But you have now seen me" Connor points and the man's eyes widens.

"I will tell no one, I pro..." he does not gets to finish those words.

"Darwin is right now with one of his mistress, Miranda, that's her name, she is his favorite and it's her birthday next week, he always spends the week with her to celebrate her birthday" another one informs and Connor nods as he turns to around to step away and the man sighs in relief before that sigh gets stuck in his throat as it is being ripped off his body.

Connor lets go of the head and drops it on the floor as he looks around him at the bodies lying on the grounds, every kill he had ever done, he had kept the bodies hidden but no more, he was done letting Darwin walk on the earth alive for nearly a year.

Connor stares at his boots and hands filled with blood as this was probably the only time he had made a mess of his killings but they deserved it, each of the men standing who tortured the men in his village. This one was for his village.

But Darwin's blood will be for his sister. Thinking of his sister he narrows his eyes as he had been unable to go see her, the wolves were everywhere and he could not risk being seen, not now when he was so close.

Using his speed he moves away from the place and just as he is gone the standing five bodies on the men falls down one by one as domino effect of the ground headless.
