Walking out of Crystal's room Adrian sighs as he pulls a chain from his pocket and stares at the only remaining thing he had of the girl. Fisting he walks away but his father presence makes him stop as he shoves his hand in his pocket before staring at the man.

"We need to talk" his father states and Adrian nods before he follows his father and soon his mother joins.

"You already know why I am here" his father starts but Adrian says nothing.

"The girl has been announced as Queen and we all have accepted her as one. I think your duty is done and now you should return home" his father orders.

"My duties..."

"Belongs to your pack as well, Adrian. You brothers need you; the pack needs you"

"The pack already has an Alpha, father and it's an Alpha who leads the pack"

"Yes, by birth it's your brother's right but you know we need you. You are one of the strongest warrior Adrian, the new ones need to be guided, a good training from you" he points.

"I already have my chosen men"

"Then bring them along, Lord knows we need good, strong men in our pack" his father states making Adrian sigh.

"My duty is with Crystal"

"Soon, she will find her mate, get settled, he will bring on his own men. It has been decades you left the pack Adrian, it's time you return back home...

We understand and no one blames you for what your mate did, she was there not to be with you but to snatch the powers, it's time you learn to move, you can take another mate"

"I am never taking any mate" Adrian glares at his father who sighs before he asks for his mate to talk to him.

"When you decided to be part of the King's men, we never blinked. You wanted to walk out of the pack and we never stopped you Ad. And never have we asked anything else but right now the pack needs you, they need your guidance, your brothers are good and wise but they lack what you have...

Your focus and determination. So, please we request you to come back home with us, Adrian" his mother pleads and Adrian grits his teeth.

"We will not keep you tied to the pack, you train the boys, turn them into men and then you decide you want to stay in the pack or go your own ways" his father offers.

"I have duties towards my men as well"

"Then they can be part of our pack" his father adds and Adrian nods his head in agreement.

"I will have to talk with my men"

"We are going back tomorrow after the dawn; we will wait for you" his mother smiles as she cups his cheek before they leave and Adrian stands quietly as his spot.

"The portion is ready; the moon is still shining in the sky this is the perfect time to put our spell"

"Erase the memories of the night and the man from every villager and the guards who was present at the fire" the woman commands.

"Yes, My Lady, do you want us to erase the memory of the Royal guard as well?"

"Yes, Crystal should never know what happened to her mate, she should never meet his again. Their union will bring chaos to us"

"Of course," the group echoes as the wall of the palace starts to buzz with the chant.

"Leaving?" Crystal asks in shock as she gets up from her chair.

"You should not get up" Adrian asks as he walks to her and pushes her back down on her chair.

"But...you just came back" she asks in confusion.

"To see you sit on that throne" he replies as she does not let go of his hand making him sigh as he kneels in front of her.

"You cannot leave me" Crystal pleads and Adrian pats on their joined hands.

"I am just a call away, Crystal. Whenever you need me just send me a message and I will be here"

"But it won't be same, if you leave" she asks.

"The sooner I leave the sooner I can come back" he points making her sigh.

"Can I do or say anything to make you stay?" she asks him and Adrian smiles.

"There were times you always wanted me out and now that I am leaving..."

"I never wanted to out Ad, I just wanted you to be less strict to me" she protests as she cups his cheek and Adrian sighs.

"Don't stress much, take a rest and when this bind is out, make sure you see and think clearly" he asks and Crystal nods her head.

"I will miss you" she whispers before she drops her hand to his shoulder and moves to hug him.

"I will see you again" he promises as he steps away and Crystal squeezes his hand before letting him go.

"Be careful" she smiles while Adrian stands and stares at her for a while feeling as if there was something important, he had to inform her but he cannot bring himself to say the words or bring the thought out.

"Goodbye Cry" Adrian whispers as he turns and walks out of the room and Crystal stays still until she hears the door of her room close before a tear rolls down her face.

Adrian gets on the horse as he orders his men regarding their duties towards the Queen before he nods at Warren who gets on his horse as well.

"Ready" Warren asks and Adrian nods before he glances back at the palace one more time and moves his horse to leave.

"Hey" Warren shouts as he follows Adrian who stops his horse and waits for Warren.

"You dropped this" Warren points as he hands a chain to Adrian who frowns staring at the silver chain with a dragonfly in it.

"That's not mine" Adrian states.

"Well, fell from your bag" Warren states and Adrian takes the chain before they continue to ride along, slowing down as they reach the village.

Riding silently, they cross the village but something tugs at Adrian conscience making him slow down as he reaches a house which was burnt down.

"Was there a fire?" Adrian asks Warren who frowns shaking his head.

"I don't remember anyone complaining about it" Warren points and Adrian turns to ride towards the house.

Halting he checks on the house before his eyes turns towards the tomb which brings a frown in his face.

"It seems they had a failing out" he points and Warren strolls his horse close to Adrian.

"Seems so, poor soul" Warren mutters before the men gets down from their horses and walks towards the tomb.

"In loving memory of, Destiny" Adrian reads aloud.

"Destiny, fancy name" Warren points and Adrian stares at the dried flowers on it before moving it away, looking around her does not find any flowers so he pulls out the chain from his pocket.

"This is all I have, at least this won't dry" Adrian smiles before he puts the chain on top of the girl's tomb.

"Rest in peace, wherever you are Destiny. Life was too short for you but I am sure it was filled with good memories" he whispers as he touches the tomb before getting up and walking back to his horse.

Once again Adrian turns and stares at the grave before shaking his head as he rides his horse leaving the village.

Marisa pulls off the cloak and stares at the damage in front of her of the house, she looks around before her eyes lands on the tomb created so making her way, she reads the initial.

"What happened?" Marissa whispers not knowing how did the house was burnt down.

Walking towards the village she looks around to find out what happened as she had promised Crystal, she would go check on Connor and his sister but it seems something had happened, something terrible.

"Excuse me" she calls as someone and the man stops to turn towards her.

"I was looking for someone" she asks and the man frowns before she asks for Connor and the man shakes his head saying he does not know any man with that name.

"But..." she goes to ask but the man walks away so she walks to some shops asking for Connor but no one readily tells her about it.

Finding it strange along with seeing the house down, Marisa makes her way back to the palace to warn Crystal that something wrong was going on.

"Marisa" someone calls her and she turns around only to get hit on her head and she falls down on the ground.

"Hurry, run the spell before she exposes everything, fix the scenarios in her head" the woman voices as the group surrounds Marisa and starts to do their spell.

Crystal lays on her bed as she feels sad about Adrian leaving and she cannot even go to check on Connor, hopefully Marisa can walk back with some good news.

The knock on her door makes her sit up before she hears Marisa's voice.

"Did you meet him?" Crystal asks at once, hopefully.

"My Queen, please sit down" Marisa requests as she hurries towards the woman.

"What happened, how are they?" she asks and Marisa holds Crystal's arms.

"Please stay calm"

"Why, what is it?" Crystal worries and Marisa sighs biting her lip.

"I went to the house, you told me about but no one was there, the house was empty"

"What?" Crystal whispers in shock.

"I even asked the villagers but it seems Connor and his sister left the village, My Queen"

"No" she shakes her head in disbelief.

"I asked many people and all of them said the brother-sister, they left the village, they were in a hurry" Marisa informs and Crystal feels her whole world collapse at the news.

"I am sorry" Marisa apologizes seeing Crystal in pain.

"He cannot leave me"

"I am sure if we send few of the men to search him"

"No, no" Crystal shakes her head.

"He had asked me to never return, he should be really scared to run away at the night"

"But..."

"It's okay, it's okay, he is just a human, of course he must have been terrified of us, of me" Crystal nods before she turns around in her bed and lays down with her back to Marisa.

"Crystal" Marisa whispers.

"You may leave Marisa, thank you for everything, for going all the way to the village"

"Please, it was no trouble. I would have loved to meet him, myself" Marisa states as she touches Crystal's arm and squeezes it.

"Take rest, maybe once you are healed enough, we can think what to do next" Marisa points but Crystal stays quiet knowing full well, nothing could be done as Connor not just asked her to never return but has left her, running away from her.

Crystal silently cries laying on her bed, reminiscing all the moments she had with Connor and Destiny. Her tears do not stop as she misses them, the day that should have been all about celebration for her finally being the Queen but it was nothing but filled with heartache.

She got what she was born for but she lost who was born for her. She feels alone and lonely without them and Adrian leaving her side was not making her feel any less good. The burn in her heart makes her curl up in her bed as the thought of never seeing her mate grips around her.

"If I kill you?" he asks making her laugh.

"You are not strong enough boy, you may have turned into a vampire but you are just a boy, both in human and vampire form" she grins before she raises her hand and grabs his throat as he attacks her.

"My girls will teach you how to fight, the moment you defeat my girls do come to challenge me. Also, do not leave this premises, we do not know who sired you or why you were turned. But what we know is your presence will never be welcomed out of my pack...

Rest or roam around the perimeter but know, these are your sisters and we protect our brothers. Try to feel welcomed" she adds before signaling her pack members as she walks to her house.

"Only girls?" Connor asks as he looks around the group of women staring at him.

"We have mates that are males and we have our sons as well in this pack" one of the women states and Connor nods before he runs away from them but stops as he finds few of the women turn to their wolf form and run beside him.

"You will lose your energy and crave for blood if you waste your energy like this, Lord Connor. First learn about your kind before trying to piss ours" the girls tease before asking him to follow them.

"The man you brought with has been hunting the animals, at this rate we will be out of wild animals in our jungle" Jade's beta points making Jade smile.

"Let him be, the hunger he has been trying to sate will only be gone when he has a human's blood until then even if he finishes all the animals in our jungle, he will just be hungrier"

"Well at least he is a gentleman enough to bring the dead deer and rabbits back for dinner" Jade laughs as she hears it.

"Interesting fellow" Jade shakes her head.

"Are we going to guide him for his first hunt?" the woman asks and Jade takes a deep breath.

"We will have to; he may lose his control if he is not guided properly though" Jade remarks as they both turn to watch the said man walk towards the pack house with a deer in his hold.

"Prepare for his trainings as soon as he comes back from his hunt" Jade orders and the woman nods before leaving.

"Crystal" a voice calls making Crystal startle a she looks around her room to find who was it.

"Relax, my child. I am not here to harm you but to wake you up" the voice states and Crystal sits up on her bed.

"Come" the voice asks before she feels someone touching her and she jumps not being about to see because of her bind.

"Relax, Crystal, as I said I am not here to harm you"

"Who are you?" she asks the voice.

"You will know me and for that I need to take you somewhere"

"I cannot...I..."

"Ssh, we do not have enough time, we need to waken your fifth element"

"Fifth?" she frowns.

"Yes, your human form is your first element, your vampiric powers are your second, the wolf awakening is the third and the witch's power your mother awakened in you is your fourth element and now I shall let you see your fifth one" the voice promises before Crystal feels bright light entering her room.

"But for that fifth element to awake, we need to get you out of this world, to mine" the voice smiles before Crystal feels herself being dragged inside something and the light is turned off before she senses darkness.
