Connor's eyes snaps open at once as the sky rumbles and Diego curses watching Connor get up from his sleeping form and before Diego could react Connor is gone, speed like lightning.

"Fuck" Diego curses as he scans the place trying to point Connor only to find the guy with a dead rabbit in his mouth, again

"Fucking new lings, damn I feel old" Diego sighs as he watches the boy. After watching Connor hunt down the rabbits for a while Diego sighs in sadness while the hunger is satiated for a while for the boy.

"And now comes the realization and guilt, damn don't I hate watching this" Diego murmurs quietly as he sits on the top of the tree unmoving while he watches Connor.

'Stop' a voice is heard inside Connor's head before Diego jumps down from the tree startling Connor.

"Relax, calm down"

"Who are you and what...why..." Connor panics not understanding what was happening to him and Diego raises his hand to stop the man.

"You have just been turned"

"Into a vampire, everything looks new and all, but stay calm. I will explain" Diego starts and Connor stares at the man before he finally remembers the events of the night.

"I see you have remembered it all, but before you attack me just know I am a friend not a foe"

"How?" Connor asks and Diego sighs.

"I had no other choice but turn you but know, this is not the worst-case scenario"

"What's the worst-case scenario?" Connor asks.

"Just know whatever you do from here on, always forgive yourself for the killings and out here in our world if no one understands you, know that one vampire will always understand, your cravings, your killings, your ways, though it makes no sense to you now, some day it will...

The man who sired you is Darwin Carlos, while I just helped the chain reaction. Always remember him even if you shall forget about me" Diego states and with a flick of his finger he erases Connor's memory meeting Diego as the man disappears.

Connor shakes his head as he looks around him to find where he was before he realizes that he was now not a human but a vampire, the monster who hurt him and his sister, now he was one of them.

The thought of his sister, once again makes him alert as he tries to go check on her. The fear of what he believes have happened to her makes him speed up.

Reaching near his home, he stops as he eyes the big black smoke covering the area.

"Fire" Warren whispers in Adrian's ear and the man gets alert, looking away from what was happening in front of him with the ceremony he faces Warren.

"In the village" he states and Adrian curses before he asks few of his men to stay alert and keep and eye on Crystal as her ceremony continues before he along with few of other men, shift to their wolf form and makes a run towards the village.

Seeing the flames, Adrian speeds up hoping the house burning was not the one he thinks is of, but the familiar road makes not just him speed up but his heart beats faster as well.

He ignores the screams of the villagers before without a thought he shifts, he feels someone throwing him a pant but he ignores not believing his eyes as the damage.

"Ad" Warren shouts and Adrian grabs the pant pulling it in hurry as he orders the men to take control of the situation before he looks for a way in to check on the survivors.

Warren asks few of them to follow him while Adrian kicks in the fallen woods away as he makes a way to get inside, he ignores the burn he gets as he looks around the room to find the body of a girl laying on the floor but fire not touching it.

He does not think before he hurries to grab the girl, picking her up he frowns as no fire touches both of them when he walks back out, just as he steps out and away from the house, it collapses in a big heap.

"Move" Warren shouts as he along with his men brings water in a big form with their magic and Adrian watches as the water rains on the house and the fire stops and all it remains is big black smoke surrounding them.

"Was there anyone else?" Warren asks Adrian who just stares at the house still in shock.

"Ad, was there anyone else?" Warren asks once again and he shakes his head before eyeing the girl in his arms.

"I just found her" he whispers and Warren checks on the girl for any pulse but before Warren could say the words Adrian knows the girl was dead as her body was as cold as ice.

"She is dead" Warren points.

"Look around the ashes" Warren asks while Adrian walks away with the body in his arms.

"No...Des" Connor whispers as he hurries to reach the house but halts when someone stands in front of him.

"It's a bad idea to be seen" Jade stops him and he steps away.

"What are you?" he asks as he can smell she is different but he does not know what.

"I am a she-wolf and scenting you, it seems you are a newly turned vampire. Walking to a place filled with humans are not wise"

"My house..."

"It has turned into ashes and the body Adrian has pulled out is no longer alive" those words make Connor stumble back as he fills the floor swept from under him and he falls down.

"No" he shakes his head.

"Focus your vision, you can see the girl from here, but boy you cannot be seen by those guards or be near the humans" the woman warns and Connor turns his head as he searches for his sister's body.

Connor stands up from his place as he finally can see his sister but this time in the arms of a man that came in his house with Crystal.

"That's Adrian, he is protector of the Queen, don't worry, he is one of the men you can trust" Jade assures as a growl leaves Connor's mouth.

"There is no one inside" Warren informs Adrian who was sitting on the ground with his back on a tree and Destiny in his lap.

"She had a brother" Adrian informs.

"Yeah, the villagers have been saying the same. We need to finish up here and get out, Crystal may search for you"

"We need to find that boy, Warren"

"There is nothing remained in this house for us to grasp on his scent Ad" the man sighs and Adria nods before he stares at the girl in his arms.

"Prepare for her burial" he orders making Warren frown.

"But..." Warren tries to say something but stop as he watches Adrian's face and nods his head.

Once they finish digging up the grave, Warren walks to Adrian and informs the man. Picking up the girl, Adrian makes his way towards the grave and stares at it. Warren lays a clean cloth on the ground and steps back while Adrian kneels and puts the girl on top of it.

Carefully, he starts to wrap the cloth around her but stops when his eyes lands on the necklace around the girl so without a second thought he takes off the chain and holds it as he covers the girl's face. With Warren's help they put the girl under the ground and start to bury her.

Standing away Adrian stares as the men finishes their work and turns towards Adrian.

"In loving memory of...?" the man asks so he can crave it on the stone, but not knowing anything about it he looks around the place to ask the villagers.

"Destiny" one of them replies and Adrian nods at his men who starts to crave the name on the stone.

"Who was she?" Warren asks to Adrian whose eyes does not leave the initial craved on the stone.

"Tragedy" Adrian replies before the men are done and starts to leave.

Jade pulls Connor away as the wolves makes their way towards the palace, she waits for them to runs out before letting go of Connor.

"Wait..." Jade asks Connor as she chants a spell to make the villagers fall asleep so no one can see them sneak around after that she asks Connor to go.

With a speed like lightening, Connor makes his way to his sister's grave and Jade stands behind watching him as the man gets down on his knees as he desperately starts to dig the ground to reach his sister.

Jade turns and stares at the palace where the ceremony was perhaps coming to an end, while the man who should be there was kneeling on the ground digging it with his bare hands, taking a deep breath her thought takes her to the time, few days ago where she saw Crystal running out of the palace, hiding from everyone and Jade had followed the girl.

Seeing his desperation, Jade walks and touches his shoulder to stop him so she can help him. She raises her hands and whispers few words before the soil rises and Destiny's body is uncovered.

"Des" Connor breathes in relief as he jumps inside the hole pulling out the cover away from her face, Connor stares at his sister's face, kissing all over her face he touches his forehead with her and cries.

"I am sorry, I am sorry, baby, so, so, sorry" the man cries and Jade looks away as she feels his pain.

Putting Destiny's head on his chest Connor stays hugging her to him for a while before he lets her go and lets her rest.

"Can you make a coffin for her?" his requests startles Jade who stares at the man before Jade nods her head.

Connor kisses his sister's forehead as he wipes few of the dust from her cheeks and stands as he closes the coffin. Getting out of the hole, he grabs a handful of soil and throws it on the coffin, grabbing the spade left by the men and starts to throw the soil over the coffin, burying his sister.

Jade stands away letting the man do it by himself his time, knowing he needed that closure. She frowns when he runs away, she goes to stand but stop as he comes back with wild flowers in his hands. Putting the flowers on top of the grave Connor once again kneels and kisses the ground where his sister was lying.

"Best sister ever" he whispers as he gets up from the ground and turns towards Jade.

"Let's go" he orders the girl and Jade stands up at once before her limbs on their own gets down, kneeling in front of him.

"Yes, Lord Connor" the words are out of her mouth on their own and Connor eyes the direction leading to the palace before he eyes Jade.

"Darwin Carlos, tell me everything about the man" he asks and Jade gets up from her position.

Crystal sighs in relief as the chants stops, she flutters her eyes opens before she looks around the room, she feels her senses heightened. She can hear even the breathing pattern of a frog, and see more clearly.

Standing up from her throne, the men and women bow down to her as they cannot stare at her with their eyes, the rays coming out of her blinds them for a moment. Stepping down she pauses as her ears picks something and her nose crinkles with a smell, she cannot pin point.

"Careful My Queen, your senses ate heightened and moving or focusing on something may bring harm"

"You all may rise" Crystal commands and all of them do as she asks of them.

"Adrian" she calls for the man and when he does not appear at once people start to look around the room before the door opens and he appears.

"My Queen" Adrian bows his head down to her and Crystal narrows her eyes as she smells something odd from him.

"You smell"

"Like smoke, My Queen. I was dealing with a fire"

"A fire?" she frowns.

"Nothing to worry about, it's all been handled" he assures and she nods her head before raising her hand for him to take.

Adrian makes his way to stand next to the step as he holds her hand to help her down from the steps. She stares at his face and when he does not meet her eyes, she tilts her head.

"Is something wrong?" she asks him.

"No, My Queen"

"Then why are you not meeting my eyes?" she asks him.

"None of them can meet your eyes for few days, My Queen. You cannot even see your own eyes in the mirror, it's as red as your hair, your powers are being merged so" the priest states before he hands her a silk tie.

"It's better if you cover them" he states before Adrian grabs and ties the cloth around her eyes before he stands in front of her and stares at the face.

"Your powers need to blend well within you, so I suggest you rest and let them all find a balance within you"

"How long will I have to rest?" she asks the man.

"Three days should be enough"

"Three days?"

"It may take long, until then refrain yourself to use it. You need to stay as if you are blind, deaf and dumb"

"Why?"

"The peace within you will bring the peace with them" the man points before he leaves her side.

"Guess you will be my eyes, ears and mouth" Crystal smiles at Adrian who holds her hands and squeezes it.

"Let's get you to your room"

"What about the guests?"

"I am sure they will want to rest as well" he murmurs before the guard announces of the Queen leaving.

"Ad, about..."

"You need your rest first Crystal; we can talk later"

"But..."

"Rest" he asks her.

"Someone vandalized his home, Ad. The least we can do is check, what if they go back and try to harm him. He has a little sister to look after" she worries and Adrian gulps.

"I will ask someone to go check on him" he promises and she nods her head.

"I want to see my myself though"

"Not for now" he states before he takes his leave.

"Wait for me, Connor, for just a little while" Crystal sighs as she rests for the night.

"So, she has finally been crowned" the people speak.

"The powers are being blended and merged within her"

"Three days, we have three days, before she gets hold of it"

"Don't worry, her world will be upside down when she finally opens her eyes"

"What can a newling even do except shed blood?" they ask.

"But what will happen when she finds about the events?" they worry.

"Before the night ends, no one will remember he even exist" they whisper as the spell echoes and they disappear.

"But the Royal guard"

"His duty to the family has come to an end" the voice whispers.
