Mirror, do tell lies.
Mirror shattered lifeless on the floor,
Do you not perceive me tempting anymore?
I'm afraid you may be insanely mistaken,
a wary road which you've gone ahead and taken –
Impress my ego with what you see,
I may yet reconcile your prison draped in front of me;
Shard glass stitched, and hemmed,
speak; twist words I do not wish to comprehend,
sharing truths taste of hauntingly cringe,
But –
fabrications I will befriend;
Soul; mind within my hands,
they do have much of me to amend,
boast, and rave your queens' command,
be forewarned, you may find a quicker reach to the bitter end;
Mirror, do tell lies,
I only wish to keep you intact for my fine eyes.
