Chapter 2
Mukuro found out a day later that he was immune to the tuberculosis virus. Nagi's condition had remained the same for now that information gave Mukuro some relief. Now, he had to focus on the upcoming movie premiere. He had gone back to his apartment shoving the front door closed with his foot. Walking in he noticed that the items from the pasticceria still sat on the bar in the paper bag. The items in the bag were probably rotten. Mukuro sighed, plopping on the couch, he was tired from everything that had happened. He didn't know what he would do if Nagi died. Out of the four siblings only he and Daemon would be left. The youngest had died in a car accident when he was only five. Mukuro ran his hand through his hair, wondering why he was thinking of that day.
Daemon had been driving, yet somehow only the back of the car had been destroyed leaving the driver with minor injuries and the backseat passenger dead. Their father had been devastated. He had lost his wife and five years later lost his youngest son. Not long after that, he joined the two in death and Daemon took over the family.
Mukuro sighed, closing his eyes resting his head on the back of the couch. Slowly he fell asleep. He hadn't been home like this in months. He either lived in trailers or different rented places all over the world. Therefore the apartment didn't really feel like his home.
A couple of days later Mukuro stood in front of the floor-length mirror adjusting his appearance, he had yet to put the colored contact in that hid his red eye. He sighed lightly, finishing buttoning his dark purple shirt. He missed his sister's presence in the apartment. Moving to get one of the decorative hair cuffs and putting it in place at the base of his ponytail, something caught his eye. A small box was underneath the bed, it had most likely fallen there. He moved over and knelt down to retrieve the box.
"What's this?" He muttered, looking the box over not seeing a card or anything. Curious he opened it and inside sat a pair of black metal earrings. The earrings had three dangling chains, the shorter of the two had short spikes while the longest had two kanji one was the number five the other the number four. He smiles lightly, they were probably from his sister. He put them on before finishing getting ready and meeting the limo on the street.
The limo took him to where the premiere would be held. Mukuro sighed internally as he adjusted his black vest that had a purple paisley design before stepping out of the limo greeted by bodyguards and flashes of cameras, not to mention screaming fans. Mukuro smirked slightly which caused more screams and swoons as he walked down the red carpet. Poparazzi was taking pictures nonstop as he greeted his fellow actors who worked on the movie as well. The group stood in front of the movie poster and posed for the camera before each moved to interact with fans and reporters.
After a bit it was time for the movie to begin. Therefore everyone trickled excitedly into the large movie theater. The crowd settled into their seats to watch the movie.
~~~~~~~~
Somber music filled the theater as the movie started to play. On the screen water bubbled up around large tubes, chains, and wires. Slowly black hair came into view as it too swayed because of the bubbles. The group of actors were small near silent gasps as who it was came into view. The character Mukuro was portraying was shackled up tightly suspended in water. On his face was a muzzle type breathing apparatus and a tube covering his right eye.
~"I can't believe I can touch you with this hand..." the camera focused on the character's hand as it twitched.
"You're so naive that I can capture you.
Look at my odd eye projecting a frightened face.
I'm happy to meet you.
Somehow it's too cliche.
Kufufu."~
His left eye opened as a wave of power swelled out shattering the glass. The water rushed out onto the floor as long black hair fell down and stuck to his back.
~"So will you make a contract with me?
Before you lose your memory."~
The chains started to break as he reached up tearing the muzzle and tube away from his face a wicked smirk plaster on his face.
~"Kufufu
Kufufu
Kufufu no fu
Let's dance in the mist's carnevale.
In a pure and beautiful world.
The manipulated you is in the eternal Samba with me."~
Men quickly showed up raising weapons. He cracked his neck as he pulled the thick collar off like it was paper. The men fired at him but none of the bullets hit their intended mark. The men fell to the ground dead. He scoffed walking forwards stepping off the pedestal that once secured the glass in place. Stepping over bodies he continued to walk.
~"I'll comfort you if you wish for it.
Is it okay for a moment?"~
He chuckled, smirking opening his right eye revealing a black eye that held a red pupil. "Oya, oya."
~"Or for eternity?
Kufufu
I don't understand why you cry.
It seems like it's my fault."~
As he walked more men tried to stop and kill him only to die themselves as he sung.
~"Kufufu
Kufufu
Kufufu no fu
Come recognize it, your destiny.
Once you misstep, it starts breaking.
The sad-eyed you is my lovely doll."~
Someone stopped and started protecting him, showing him to the exit. He smirked. "That's right."
~"So will you make a contract with me?
Before you lose your memory.
Kufufu
Kufufu
Kufufu no fu
Let's dance in the mist's carnevale.
In a pure and beautiful world.
The manipulated you is in the eternal Samba with me."~
He stepped outside into the snow on a high mountain range. The man who had been protecting him crumpled to the ground dead. He breathed in the cold air and started walking.
~~~~~~~~
By the end of the movie a couple of hours later everyone but the actors were on the edge of their seats.
~~~~~~~~
He was caught by those he fought and taken to a dimension he couldn't use his powers in. A muzzle was once again on his face and over his right eye. He was roughly shoved into a semi well furnished room. An orange colored energy barrier trapped him in the room as the cuffs allowed him to move his hands apart.
"And there you stay." the person who brought him there growled before leaving the dimension. He was all alone. Alone with his own chaotic thoughts.
~~~~~~~~
The screen went dark and the lights turned on. The theater was dead silent and no one knew how to react. Someone started to clap, then another, and soon the whole theater was clapping loudly whistling. The actors all stood and bowed to the audience. After that everyone trickled out of the theater to an open garden for the celebration of the movie's release.
