"Okay folks!" Haechan tapped his finger pointer that teachers use in classrooms on the whiteboard in front of him. "We have just witnessed the event of the century!"

The Dreamies gathered around a whiteboard with multicolored notes scribbled on it. 

"Taeyong dissed our pal Jaehyun." The Dreamies gasped in shock though they already knew this had occurred. You could say they strive to be chaotic and extra. "Why?" Haechan continued. "Well, it's simple really. Jisung come up here." 

The maknae grabbed a red pen and doodled on the board. "Ten tried to kill me but accidentally almost murdered Taeyong too. Taeyong snapped at both of us for being careless when we argued and even though he says he's not injured, I think he is."

Chenle spoke up. "So are you saying that Ten and Taeyong like like each other?" 

"Precisely." Haechan clapped his hands together. "They're each others missing puzzle piece!"

"Bummer! I love Jaeyong!" Chenle pouted.

"You know what, get out." Renjun hit Chenle. "Here in this household we only ship Taeten! If you disagree-"

"Okay okay!" The meeting was called back to order.

"Our missions," Haechan began. "Are simple. This is Mission: Get Taeten to Hook Up!"

"What does hook up mean?" Jisung blinked innocently.

Renjun laughed nervously and tapped Haechan on the shoulder. "He means Mission; Get Taeten Together! That's exactly what he means, right Haechan?" 

Haechan rolled his eyes and continued. "Renjun and Chenle will keep an eye on Jaehyun. Don't let him put so much as a finger on Taeyong. Get all the info out of him. Find out if he truly loves our hyung or if he's just thirsty." Jaemin cracked up.

"I don't get it..." Chenle sighed. 

"Good!" Jaemin continued to laugh.

"Anyways," the lead Dreamie went on. "Jisung and Jaemin I want you to focus on Ten. The Romeo of this story. The one we ship the one we love. Find out his feelings and report back with your findings. Now this is important that you don't fudge the details. As an esteemed matchmaker," the others giggled at Haechan who gave them a dirty look. "I want to make sure Jeno and I focus on Juliet."

"Juliet?" Jeno asked quizzically. 

"Taeyong I mean! Jeez, do you guys even read?" Haechan hissed through clenched teeth. "We will focus on the center of this story. The protagonist of the soap opera. The princess of the fairy tale. The-"

"We get it!" Renjun and Jaemin shouted. 

The meeting continued for only a little while. It mostly consisted of screaming, arguing, and crying but somehow they figured out a plan to get Taeyong and Ten together. At the end, the Dreamies went to sleep vowing the next day their scheme would commence.

The next morning the Dreamies were more than ready to put their plan into action. Renjun and Chenle grabbed their loaded Nerf guns (just in case things got out of hand) and headed to Jaehyun's room which he just so happened to share with Taeyong. Jisung and Jaemin planted themselves outside Ten's door and listened intently. Finally Jeno and Haechan went downstairs to make breakfast.

Renjun tiptoed down the hall until he made it to Jae and Tae's room. He listened at the door. "No sounds of making out." He reported. 

"Okay sir!" Chenle scribbled the note into his composition notebook. "What does that even mean?..." he whispered to himself. 

The two boys listened for a while with no sounds coming from the room. "They must be asleep." Renjun sighed in defeat. As soon as the two Dreamies were about to walk away, Jaehyun opened the door. 

"Good morning." He said to the younger boys. His eyes were bloodshot and he was a mess. Jaehyun always tried to look his best but he had a bedhead now.

"Um, hyung are you okay?" Chenle ventured and grabbed his pencil from behind his ear. 

"I just didn't sleep well last night, that's all." Jaehyun murmured and shut the door behind him. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to use the restroom." He pushed past the Dreamies and turned down the hall.

"Now's our chance!" The boys burst into Jae and Tae's room. Unfortunately, there was no one there.

"What the heck?" Chenle pouted. "I was sure Taeyong would be here!"

Renjun's face fell and he turned around. "It's fine; what were we even expecting to find? Let's go downstairs and report!"

With that Chenle saluted and the two went to eat their breakfast. And to report of course. But they mostly just wanted pancakes.

In the kitchen all six Dreamies gathered around the table before anyone else could come downstairs. "So any news?" Haechan said while constantly checking the door. 

"Renjun's team!" Renjun raised his hand. 

"Wait why can't it be Chenle's team?"

Renjun stuck out his tongue and slapped the younger boy. "Because you suck and I'm awesome!"

"Mehmehmehmeh. I'm Renjun and I think I'm so quirky and cool!" Chenle mocked his hyung.

"Anyways," Renjun ignored him. "Taeyong wasn't in the room. Just Jaehyun. He came out to use the restroom, he looked really tired too. Must have been up all night......"

Haechan nodded and grabbed an expo marker. He noted this piece of evidence on the whiteboard. "Okay next report?"

While the Dreamies plotted in the silence of the kitchen, Taeyong breathed a sigh of relief. He hopped out of his closet and sat back in Jaehyun's bed. Once the two had heard the sounds of Renjun and Chenle coming down the hall, Taeyong had bolted to the closet for fear of them finding him and Jaehyun snuggling together. Thank god they didn't catch us!

He stretched a little and put his shirt back on. Jaehyun had always wanted to sleep together and every night he would ask Taeyong. Finally he had agreed. Taeyong felt bad for blowing off his friend earlier and wanted to make it up to him, however he could. 

Taeyong tried to cover his neck which had bruises all over it from Jaehyun's kisses. Taeyong felt ashamed. He was definitely a bottom.

He dropped it after a while, hoping no one would notice and quietly left the room. "Ah!" Taeyong screamed when he turned around. He was face to face with none other than Ten.

"Oh hi, sorry Ten!" He waved sheepishly. 

"You know you're super loud right?" Ten crossed his arms and scowled. "You and Jaehyun?" Taeyong felt his ears get hot. "I personally like to go to bed listening to music, not sex sounds!" 

"Ten wait! I can explain!"

"'I can explain!'" Ten mocked him and furiously stomped down the stairs. "You don't seem to understand that whatever you do affects all twenty one of us Taeyong! You ignore me, I get pretty fucking mad at you! You make out with Jaehyun, you shouldn't expect it to be kept a secret!" He yelled at Taeyong.

"So this is about you being reckless a few days ago?"

The Dreamies perked up. "Are they fighting?" Jeno asked, his eyes wide. The boys peered out of the kitchen door.

"No it's not. It's about you ignoring me! If you haven't noticed Taeyong, you break rules all the time and it's hurting us and the Nctzens!" Ten felt tears drop from his dark eyes.

"I do NOT do that you idiot!" Taeyong fired back aware of the audience of members that had gathered to watch the fight. "And me and Jaehyun have the right to do whatever we want! You don't get a say in our relationship."

Ten frowned. "Fine then! If you and Jaehyun get to be a thing, me and Yangyang get to as well." Ten pulled Yangyang to him and kissed him on the lips, filling the younger boy's mouth with his tongue. Yangyang didn't know what to do so he kissed his friend back. "You mad yet Taeyongie?" Ten sang when he finished kissing the Wayv maknae who stumbled back embarrassed. Hendery stared daggers at Ten's turned back.

Taeyong didn't respond. His face flushed he stomped back to his room. He slammed the door as hard as he could, hoping the others could hear it. He knew Ten had done this to get a reaction out of him. To irritate him. He sat on the floor and grabbed his knees close to his body. He set his head down on his legs and cried a river. He wouldn't build a bridge and get over it though. He wouldn't get over this fight.
