"Do you like her?"

The chubby girl asked the boy, who glanced at the tiny girl's innocent face which was also glancing at him.

The boy bloomed a wide cute smile. "Yes, I do."

The tiny girl turned to him. Observing the neat fringed hair, the small bright eyes, the quite round, slightly flushing cheek and the cheeky smile that never forgot to form when he's talking with her.

She was a timid girl, someone quiet, a bookworm, someone who when the others tried to get to know, will strayed away fast from her.

They all treated her abnormally. They were avoiding her naivety, her easy to cry eyes, her weirdness. Abnormal.

Only him.

He's the one who stuck with her since she first came to the school. Who treated her like he treated everyone else. Made she felt she belong. Normal.

And what he just admitted meant so much to her. Although her mind didn't understand what it's other meaning.

The chubby girl gasped. She chattered more with the boy. Her best friends interrupted every now and then. But the tiny girl was forgotten.

The girls later left the boy and the tiny girl alone at their desks.

He smiled at her again before he stood, and gone to the boys.

The tiny girl dared herself to look around the class. The insecurity crept in her veins.

Her large eyes spotted the girls from before gathering at the desk of another chubby girl. Some of the girl classmates started to crowd there. They chattered quietly.

They were glaring at her. The tiny girl dropped her gaze . Her fingers thread together. She bent, wanting to shrink.

Paranoid, malicious thoughts spread in her mind.

She dared again to peek at the  girls crowd. Only for her forehead to be hit with a ball of crumpled paper.

'They hate me.'

Her mind screamed to her not to open the paper ball but her trembling hand insisted.
