Chap 7

After a while being in the water, I felt my left eye twitched and I knew that something was not right. Instead of waiting for her, I decided to look for her. As I was making my way through the bushes, I heard her shouting. Panicked, I quickly ran and followed where her voice was coming from. The moment I got there, I couldnâ??t help but laughing.

â??Hahahahahhahahaha!â?

â??Yuri, get that thing away from me?¦â?

â??But itâ??s so cute! How often do you find these cuties sitting here right in front of you?â?

â??Well, itâ??s cuteâ?¦butâ?¦can you please take it away?â?

â??Alrightâ?¦â? I held up the cute creature and went nearer to Jessica.

â??Yuri, pleaseâ?¦I donâ??t like animals that much.â?

â??Come on, itâ??s just a raccoon. What can it possibly do to you? Eat you?â?

She nodded softly and I laughed again.

â??By the way, why are you here? I thought you were with SooYoung.â?

â??Oh, I got bored without you around. Besides, if I didnâ??t follow you, you would have been so terrified by Poka that you would stay here all night!â?

â??Poka?â?

â??Yeah, Iâ??ve always wanted to name my dog Poka but I never got the chance to. So, your name is Poka from now on, okay?â? I said as I looked at the cute little raccoon. It smiled and I let it go from my arms. I took her hands and we both walked along the forest accompanied by Poka.

Unexpectedly, Poka took a surprising turn into a very mysterious looking path. It was rather deserted and I hesitated to follow Poka at first. But her cute smile provoked me to follow her. I held Jessicaâ??s hand tightly as we both walked into that unknown path together.

After what seemed like forever, we reached another path covered by tiny cherry bushes. Poka went inside and being curious, I cleared my way through the bushes and saw what I would say, paradise.

It was another waterfall with tall dark trees surrounding it and the beautiful sky glistening upon it. My mouth was wide open and I just continued looking around, and around and around.

â??Yuri, this is beautiful.â?

â??Yeah, I knowâ?¦Sica?â?

â??Hmmâ?¦?â?

â??Letâ??s have some fun!â?

â??How?â?

â??Come on!â? I pulled her hands and unfortunately, as we were about to plunge into the wide clear water, it started to pour.

â??We need to find shelter.â? I said as I held her hands tightly. As if she knew, Poka nudged us and ran into another path.

â??I hope this is shelter where sheâ??s taking us to.â? I could hear Jessica say softly as we both followed Poka. Moments later, we find ourselves in front of a cottage and without any hesitation, we both entered with Poka trailing behind.

I looked around the cottage and noticed that it was unoccupied. Seeing that there was a fireplace, I quickly grabbed some wood and tried to make fire.Jessica decided to lay the thick blankets she found in the cottage right in front of the fireplace. Poka helped me move the blocks of woods and within minutes, we had some warmth in the cottage.

â??Good job, Poka!â? I said while rubbing her head softly. She then settled at a spot in front of the door. I sat beside Jessica in front of the fireplace and we both just sat there, in silence. Moments later, I heard her say.

â??Yuri, remember you said that you have a crush on someone whose name starts with the letter S?â?

â??Yes, I did. What about it?â?

â??Can you tell me who it is?â?

â??Oh, but why?â?

â??Please?â?

â??I can but well, you have to start guessing first.â?

â??Ummâ?¦Is her name Sooâ?¦?â?

â??Soo?â?

â??Sooâ?¦Young?â?

â??SooYoung?â?

â??Yeah, is it her?â?

â??Who told you that?â?

â??It doesnâ??t matter who told me that, all I want to know is if itâ??s true. Do you like her?â?

â??I thought SooYeon starts with an S?â?

â??Youâ??re right but the day I first met you, what I heard TaeYeon and Tiffany calling you was SooYeon. And that name was the one I kept on my mind these 7 years.â?

â??Yes, I do, Jung SooYeon.â? I said as I turned to look at her. She had her head down and her face was so red.

â??I donâ??t like you, Yuri.â?

So, she does like SooYoung after all.

What? She doesnâ??t? My goodness, all this while I have been pining for someone who doesnâ??t have feelings for me? Man, youâ??re dumb, Yuri.

â??Yeah, I love you, Yuri.â? She said as she slowly looked up and waited for me to say something.

â??Oh, thatâ??s good.â? I said in a rather odd manner and decided to just stay focus and looked at her, straight in the eyes.

â??Sicaâ?¦â?

â??Yeah?â?

â??Thank you for liking me, I mean loving me back.â? I said as I held her hands tightly.

â??I should be the one thanking you. Ever since the day I saw you in the music room playing the violin 7 years ago, it was you who was on my mind.â?

â??Really? So you were that little girl hiding behind the bass drum 7 years ago? That was you?â?

â??Yeah, that was me. I woke up late that morning and was rushing for time till I forgot my backpack and ended up in the wrong room. But as fate would have it, it led me toâ?¦â?

She was babbling so much, I just wanted to stop her from talking. I did the most reasonable thing. That is, to kiss her. Had I complained about her babbling, she would probably be mad at me or something.

â??You.â? She said as we both pulled away to breathe. I smiled at her and we both leaned in for another kiss. And as she kissed me, she had her hands gripping on my shirt so hard that a few of the buttons came out. We both pulled away and looked at my now opened shirt.

â??Iâ??m sorry, Yuri. I didnâ??t mean to do that.â? She said nervously.

â??Itâ??s alright. Itâ??s a very old shirt.â?

â??Why donâ??t you just take the whole shirt off then? I meanâ?¦â? She said while holding onto my shirt softly. She then pulled me to her and slowly took off the remaining buttons left on my shirt. I on the other hand took off her top and as she was working on the last button, a knock could be heard on the door.

Instead of answering the door, we just continued kissing and didnâ??t bother to pull away. A few moments later, the knocking got louder until it engulfs the whole cottage.

â??Yuriâ?¦â?

â??Hmmmâ?¦?â?

â??We should get the door.â?

â??Hmmmâ?¦.â? We both pulled away and she volunteered to open the door. As she was walking towards the door, I realized that she was not having her top on.

â??Wait, Sica!â?

â??Yeah?â?

â??Youâ??re not wearing your top.â?

â??Oh yeah, I totally forgot.â?

I quickly push her softly behind me as I opened the door slowly. I then felt her hands hugging my waist from the back as she hid quietly behind me. And I was pretty happy with who I saw at the door. It was all of them.

â??TaeYeon?â?

â??Yuri? Wow, nice braâ?¦â?

â??Huh?â? I looked down and realized that my shirt was wide open. I quickly covered it and forced out a weak smile.

â??Yuri, why is Jessica hiding behind you?â?

â??Ohâ?¦ermâ?¦â?

â??WOAH! Is that Jessicaâ??s shirt on the floor?â? Tiffany said loudly as she pointed to Sicaâ??s top lying on the floor.

â??Oh, yeahâ?¦it isâ?¦â?

â??What were you guys doing?â?

â??Ermâ?¦you knowâ?¦body warmthâ?¦â?

Man, Iâ??ve got to change the subject!

â??Oh, by the way, meet Poka.â? I said as I held Poka up high.

â??Oh, sheâ??s so cute! Poka is such a weird name! We should name it Pony instead!â? Fany said as she held Poka in her arms.

â??Why Pony?â? I asked curiously.

â??Because Poka plus Tiffany is Pony! Oh my gosh, sheâ??s so cute!â?

â??Fany, a pony is a young of a horse.â? TaeYeon said while looking at Fany playing with Poka.

I could then see SooYoung standing there, staring at Sica and me. I just pretended to not notice it and held onto Sicaâ??s hands tightly.

She's mine, SooYoung. Not yours.
