A few hours later, the two found themselves sitting in the exact classroom they were caught.

And Mike was miserable.

His life was completely falling apart. Everything bad was happening to him at the worst time it possibly could. Micky (the start of this whole mess) moved in next door, he found out Micky liked boys, his father and sister were killed, his girlfriend broke up with him, he allowed Micky to kiss him, and, for the first time in his four years of high school, he skipped class and got detention, which jeopardized his chances of becoming valedictorian.

As Mike thought about all this, he felt eyes on him and realized Micky was staring at him. He cringed and looked away.

He felt sick.
