"I think I care way too much about what people think about me. I always feel their judgmental eyes burning holes out of rude stares into my back; the mean whispers being tossed around the room by so many tongues makes me really nervous," he flattened the clay in his palm and looked at her curiously.
"People are always going to talk, you know? I don't think you should let their opinions define you. You are your very own person who is not made up of puffs of gossip or spiced up lies; you are what you decide to be. Our lives are warzones of rumours and mean comments being passed from mouth to mouth but, that doesn't mean we have to care about what they all think about us. What you really think of yourself is what matters."
"It is still hard to not to hear these words spewing from their mouths because they make it really obvious when they despise you and you haven't even done anything to them. Their tongues weave rags from the dust kissing the floor and try to sell them by slapping a sticker of hot gossip on them; I hate all of it. Why can't people stop all of this?"
"We all have our baby blue dreams about how the world should be but, it isn't ever the way we want it to be. Take my advice, you don't have to pay heed to each one of them; just listen to what your heart whispers to you and you will find your way right through all of this."
"I would try not to hear too much of that because I certainly don't need that kind of negativity in my life. Your words always make me change my mind. Seriously, how do you do it?"
"I have a lot of opinions and I decide not to keep them sealed into my mouth; I spill them into speech bubbles threaded to your thoughts. It all depends on the way you perceive it. It makes me really happy how much whatever I say affects you."
"I am really grateful for every word that leaves your mouth; it helps me a lot."
"I am glad that I am able to help; you are a great friend too."
