*2013- continued*
Yoyo was anxious. Vinu had just told her that the mystery guy had sent her a message. Apparently her boyfriend knew him. Just my luck, she thought. There goes my plan of avoiding him.
What bothered her most was the fact that he had found out random facts about her and had asked Vinu all sorts of questions- to confirm his findings. Thankfully, Vinu had been excessively vague in answering him, giving her the choice of sharing the details of her life.
Her head was pounding while she stared up at her ceiling. She had not spoken with a boy properly before, let alone have one stalking her.
A voice from the other room startled her, pulling her out of her thoughts.
"Who do you think you are, b****?! You eat from my money, live under my roof, and you pull this sh** on me?!"
Her father's voice resonated through her chest, and she silently thanked the universe it was not directed at her.
He was scary. And he was not even drunk!
She could hear her mother's pathetic whimpers as she tried to defend herself from the accusations.
Yoyo never knew what they fought about, nor did she want to know. She had enough problems already.

Yoyo was anxious again. She was about to enter the class that had quickly increased up to about 150 students within the last week.
She knew somehow, that today he would definitely say something to her.
The class was noisy when she entered. She quickly found her friends and sat down, then automatically started staring at her friend and her boyfriend. Kavi slapped her arm from her right. But she couldn't help it. They were so intriguing; she had never seen a boy and a girl interact up close.
The boys were sitting on the left side of the room, so naturally Vinu wanted the spot nearest to the middle of the room. Yoyo sat in the middle of her friends. The class had long benches and tables, which three to four students shared.
Sitting on them for two hours made her spine and neck ache, but she figured it was worth it because she loved the teacher's style of teaching, and she could learn for hours on end.
Suddenly a whistle echoed through the room; the noise died instantly. Even the teacher, if he was here, could not get the class to be that silent.
A boy's voice rang out.
"Hey, you"
She looked around, and so did her friends.
"You! The one looking around!"
Some kids laughed and she felt her skin burning up. She slowly looked down at her book.
The class was still silent.
"Oi! Get back to work can't you see you're creeping her out?"
A quiet murmur spread around, and the noise level slowly escalated to what it was before.
She breathed a sigh of relief, but her relief did not last for long, when she saw who was walking up to their desk.
He was wearing a white tee and jeans, his hair swept up in a way that made her heart beat frantically.
She gulped and looked up, causing him to produce a sideways half smile.
One word popped into her head.
Sexy.
What?
"Hey"
Her tongue threatened to travel down her throat.
"Hey", she squeaked back, causing him to grin widely.
"So you find me interesting"
She gulped, not knowing what to say.
"You do. I can see it."
She could feel her palms sweating and she tried to discreetly wipe them on her jeans.
"You go to Kingsley College don't you?"
Her head snapped up to glare at Vinu. When she shook her head slowly, she narrowed her eyes at the guy before her.
School was precious to her; she won't have any rumours spreading about her because of some riled testosterone.
"How do you even know that?"
He smirked once more. "I have a way of..getting information"
His dark voice made her shiver slightly.
Just then, the teacher walked in.
He turned around to go, then looked back at her, "Be online at 9.00 a.m. tomorrow. Fb. Ask your friend for my name".
And just like that, he disappeared to where he came from.
She felt elbows on her ribs from both sides and she felt like strangling them both for leaving her to fend for herself like that. Yoyo glared at them both.
But they just chuckled quietly.
Her thoughts were muddled. Should she actually listen to him? A small part of her mind that she didn't know existed screamed yes!
But why was she so nervous? He was just some boy. Another human. But her heart sped up whenever she thought of him. That smile.
Was she getting some sort of heart disease?
She didn't want to provoke him, but she also wanted to know how he had found out her school. And why he bothered in the first place.
Just so I can satisfy my curiosity.
Then her next dilemma hit her: she didn't have a fb account.
And in her chaos, she forgot that curiosity killed the cat.
