I take a deep breath as I stand from my vanity, my hair in a messy bun with loose curls framing my face. I was wearing a soft, of the shoulder longsleeve cream coloured dress that fell to the floor and a pair of black flatts, my make up in neutral shades. I wore my crown on top of my head, my reflection still pale but at least I didn't look ghostly white like yesterday.
A knock at the door to my room shakes me from my thoughts and I turn to look at Sky in his uniform, seeing him smile at me as I stood as straight as I could manage.
"The press is waiting for you outside, guards are stationed every where and I won't be leaving your side." He says walking towards me, wraping me into his arms and kissing my forehead gently.
"You can do it Ali-Cat, no one will hurt you, not with me here." He reassures and I nodd, taking another deep breath and inhaling the scent of his favourite cologne.
"I know, so lets get this over with." I say proudly, hugging Sky as tightly as I could before pulling back and giving him a quick kiss.
Turning around, I make my way out of our room and carefully down the hallway as fast as I could manage, stoping every now and then to catch my breath.
"Here let me help." Shy says when we stop again, scooping me into his arms bridal style once again.
"I can manage." I huff out pouting, wanting to look strong infront of the staff.
"When we get close to the door I will set you down and let you walk out by yourself. For now rest." He reasons and I nodd, his words making sense as I rest my head on his shoulder and let my breathing even out.
My hand goes and finds his soft hair, Sky having his usual half up half down style this time with a man bun and I couldn't help but kiss his cheek.
"I love you Sky." I whisper, pressing my forhead to his jaw.
"I love you too Ali-Cat." He whispers and I smile.
For the rest of the walk I spent focusing on what I would say, my mind now able to focus less on the pain and more on what actions I would have to take, Trilavantas was not going to win.
The walk down the hall ended too soon and I sigh as Sky sets me down, my heals clicking on the marble flooring.
"Ready?" My boyfriend asks and I take a deel breath, nodding at the guards to open the door.
"Ready." I state, steping into the sunlight and towards the podium that was stationed on the landing to the front doors of my home. Instantly I am greeted with flashes from cameras and people shouting out questions as they search for answers.
"If I may ask that you all be quiet I can answer your questions to the best of my ability." I finally say into the microphone after a few minutes.
Soon there is nothing but the wind blowing through and I smile, directing my attention to the crowd.
"Now I will only answer one question and hopefully that will give you all satisfaction in knowing that I am doing all that I can." I state, letting my queen mask fall into place as I square my shoulders, trying not to wince.
"Your majesty, what is going on with this country?" Some one asks from the crowd and I try not to frown.
"A rebellion." I state and pause for a second before continuing.
"When Juden Trilavantas some how found a way to escape he manage to gather his supporters, people who gained from his rule and who are loosing what they had gained from my reign. Before you can accuse my guards of not keeping an eye on him let me tell you this, I thought I knew Juden since he was close to ky father and like family to me and by the time I was able to see his true self it was too late. Juden Trilavantas is pure evil and it is because of him that a revolt started years ago and it is because of him that a rebellion is starting. I ask that you all have faith in me in these hard times." I sigh gently and close my eyes for a quick second before looking back at the crowd.
"He is a traitor who's goal is to secure this kingdom as his and to create a world of oppression. I will do everything in my power to stop him and to kill him." With that I nodd my head and turn to leave, the crowd silent still as I head inside, all but collapsing into Sky's arms and letting him pick me up.
"Lets get you to bed." He whispers, kissing my forehead and letting me  snuggle into him as the pain settles down and I let the exhaustion of healing bring me to the world of unconsciousness.
