After me and my family came home from church today, we were pretty hungry, so all the girls, including me, helped to set up the table. Once that was all done and my dad grilled some chicken, we said grace and sat down to eat. It was a quiet lunch. Not many of us talked. So I finished eating, took my plate to the sink, and went to my room to find some scholarships for college. 

Minutes later, my sister come in and tells me that mom was calling me. Sighing, I got up with not the best attitude. After all, I don't like being interrupted when I'm in the middle of something. (Who else is that way?? Hope I'm not the only one!!)

My parent and a few of my siblings were still eating when I got back to the table. My mom looked up and with a funky Russian accent said, "Why you left?" (My mom is very good at English, we sometimes enjoy talking using Russian accents as well as British since... *clears throat and whispers* we are Russian. Bet that was a surprise lol.) 

Anyway, without meaning to, (being the dork that I am) I said, "No, I'm right."

My sister, who's over a year younger than me looked up and smirked, saying, "What am I?"

Both me and my mom said at the same time, "You're wrong,"

Looks like that frown turned upside down, haha. My family has the weirdest family moments.
