"Nányë Nostariel, -A Lû Othol." ("I am Alicia, A Time Traveler.")
Recap-
"Ooh you hear that lads? He says we'll blunt the knives!" Bofur spoke.
Kili started to sing
"Blunt the knives, bend the forks,
Smash the bottles and burn the corks
Chip the glasses and crack the plates
That's what Bilbo Baggins hates
Cut the cloth, trail the fat,
Leave the bones on the bedroom matt
Pour the milk on the pantry floor~
Splash the wine on every door
Dump the crocks in a boiling bowl
Pound them up with a thumping pole
And when you've finished if they are whole~
Send them down the hall to roll!
That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!"
Everyone laughed at Bilbo's face as he shoved himself through to see the mess they had made.
But, it was then that things got serious... A knock was heard.
"He is here." Gandalf stated.
I leaned down, "Who's here?"

We gathered around Bilbo's door to meet this new visitor.
I was still quite puzzled on who he, or she might be.
As Bilbo opened the door once again, I laid eyes upon a soaked dark wavy haired Dwarf with a couple of grey streaks in his hair. I noticed that he was quite tall...I perhaps stood only a few inches taller.
"Gandalf." He spoke in his low voice, walking in.
"I thought you said this place would be easy to find. Lost my way, twice. I wouldn't have found it at t'all had it not been for the mark on the door. Though, I could scarcely see it through that heavy rain." The strange Dwarf spoke, taking of his wet heavy cloak.
I started to feel guilty when I realized it was my fault for him being soaked.
"Mark? There's no mark on that door. It was painted a week ago." Bilbo stated.
"There is a mark. I put it there myself." Gandalf stated.
It was then that we were all introduced.
Gandalf gestured towards Bilbo and I, "Bilbo Baggins, and Alicia allow me to introduce the leader of our company; Thorin Oakenshield."
Bilbo stepped forward, where as I bowed my head in greeting.
"So... this is the Hobbit. Tell me, Mr. Baggins, have you done much fighting?"
"Pardon me?" He asked, confused.
"Ax or sword? What's your weapon of choice?" Thorin continued.
"Well I do have some skill at conkers, if you must know..." Bilbo bragged. "But...I fail to see why that's relevant."
I sighed.
Thorin looked at me. "And you. I'll get to in a moment."
My eyes narrowed.
"Thought as much. He looks more like a grocer than a burglar."
"Don't you know better then to judge people?" I spoke.
Seconds later... I felt a large hand on my shoulder, a warning. Telling me to be quiet.
"You. Girl, step forward."
I did as told.
"Same question. Ax or sword? Give me your weapon of choice."
"I have some skill with a bow."
'don't tell them it's a compound bow..'
"Good, you're not completely useless." Thorin said, satisfied.
"Gandalf, she is part of one of your Wizardly plans, yes?" Thorin asked, looking in my eyes.
"Indeed. She is, yes."
"I have a name you know. Alicia, remember?" I said, agitated.
"And do you plan involving the girl in our quest?"
"She is to go where I go Thorin, and that's that."
Thorin looked me over very closely. Particularly my face.
I gulped.
"Very well. I will not train, nor look after the girl. She is your responsibility."
Gandalf sighed. "Agreed..."
As we left the room to join the others, Gandalf pulled my hair back down around my ears.
"We must be careful, my dear. I fear Thorin now knows what you are."
I sighed. "He doesn't like my race, I take it?" 'Might as well play along with this "You are an Elf" stuff...'
Still not quite believing it.
"Indeed. He out of all the Dwarves takes his hate on them all when really, it should just be the Woodland Elves..King Thranduil."
'Figures.' I thought.
We once again sat around Bilbo's table.
Sadly, I was closest to Thorin.
"What news from the meeting in Ered Luin? Did they all come?" Balin asked.
'He reminds me of Santa...'
"Aye. Envoys from all seven kingdoms."
They cheered.
"All of them!" Balin said, excited.
"And what did the Dwarves of the Iron Hills say? Is Dáin with us?" His brother, Dwalin asked.
"They will not come." Thorin informed everyone.
"They say this quest is ours and ours alone."
"Well that's ridiculous! If your in a time of need...Shouldn't they help you?" I spoke, getting upset.
Thorin glared at me.
It started to thunder again.
"Calm down Lass." Bofur said from my right.
I took deep, breathes in and let them out slow...
Soon the thunder subsided.
"You're going on a quest?" Bilbo asked.
Gandalf coughed.
"Bilbo, my dear fellow, let us have a little more light."
Gandalf laid out a map.
"Far to the East...
...Over ranges and Rivers...
...Beyond Woodlands and Wastelands...
Lies a Single, Solitary Peak."
We nearest to Gandalf, stood up to look at it.
"The Lonely Mountain." Bilbo and I read together.
"Aye, Óin had read the portents..." Glóin began
The Dwarves groaned at hearing this.
"...And the portents say it is time. Ravens have been seen flying back to the mountain, as it was foretold. 'When the birds of yore return to Erebor the reign of the beast will end.'."
Bilbo came back into the room. "Uh, what beast?"
"Well that would be a reference to Smaug the Terrible. Chiefest and greatest calamity of our age. Airborne fire-breather. Teeth like razors, claws like meat hooks. Extremely fond of precious metals."
My eyes were wide. 'A Dragon. Dragons exist?'
"Yes, I know what a Dragon is." Bilbo said hurriedly.
A chair squeaked. "I'm not afraid. I'm up for it. I'll give him a taste of Dwarfish iron right up his jacksie!" It was Ori.
'Oh God, they're praising him!'
"The task would be difficult enough with an army behind us...but we number just 14. And not 14 of the best.. Nor brightest."
"Actually, Balin we might have a better chance with a smaller number of people. We could go unnoticed if necessary." I pointed out.
"We may be few in number, but we're fighter's all of us, to the last Dwarf!" Fili said, loud enough for all of us to hear.
"And you forget, we have a Wizard in our company. Gandalf will have killed hundreds of Dragons in his time." His brother spoke up.
"Oh, well, no. I wouldn't say-" Gandalf began to talk, but got cut off.
"How many than?" Dori asked.
"What?"
"Well, how many Dragons have you killed?" Dori continued to ask, putting Gandalf on the spotlight.
He began to choke on the smoke from his pipe,
Things began to get loud, the Dwarves arguing.
"Go on. Give us a number!" Dori persisted.
Gandalf discretely looked at me.
'Crap... my turn to be a distraction. Just great.'
Standing up from my place next to Bofur, I thumped my tankard down hard, letting the remaining contents spill, getting everyone's attention. Then.... I did something highly stupid.
I pulled my hair back, showing what I supposidly am. An Elf.
It went dead silent.
I gulped, quietly sitting down...not feeling so welcomed anymore.
"Who are you?" Thorin demanded.
"I am Alicia, a time traveler." I spoke flatly. Looking directly in his eyes.
