My parents got themselves back after about a week of staying in the hospital. They were told that they were in a coma for some unknown cause for a couple of days and though they were terrified at first, asking for the reason and if any diseases were discovered in their bodies, they calmed down soon after they got reassured that for my mom, it was just a random cardiac arrest and maybe she was stressed or something.
She was told to rest more for a while. For my dad,he was advised to not take drugs and alcohol for a while and that it wasn't anything serious. They surprisingly didn't stress about it afterwards and got back to work right away after agreeing to follow the doctor's instructions. They moved back in and the house felt weird with them. But good weird.
The kingdom of life got fixed up. The dead plants were restored, the destroyed homes were rebuilt, the weakened, magical aura of the kingdom was strengthened and everyone was happy. Prince Bruno walked around the kingdom every single day with a bright smile on his handsome face. He probably enjoyed every second of it.
He chatted away and laughed with the little Shuri of Horei that came up to him, like the father and role model he was to them.
I took one more glance around the kingdom, with a big smile on my own face and then teleported back home.

Next day at school, I was at my locker searching frantically for my magical arm band that I know I shouldn't have but stupidly dropped in the locker before my last class.
“Hey, Trev,” a familiar voice called out from behind me and I jerked, hitting my head on the door of my locker as a result. I rubbed my head and turned around.
“Oh shit sorry,” Alexis apologized when I turned to glare at him.
“What is it?”
I know that after the whole thing, it felt like we'd all gone back to being best buddies and we were now the same group of six confused and traumatized teens we were in the beginning.
No. I was still mad at Alexis. Really really mad. He had everything, well almost. He didn't have two ancient spirits constantly battling in his body but he had almost everything!
And I had basketball. And just because he wanted everything, he kicked me off the team just so he could get some dum scholarship thing. (It was dum after I left the team.)
But what I'm trying to say is that that was greedy of him. I'd always wanted to be a friend of his but ever since I saw that side of him, I understood why people disliked him.
And then the guilt started to eat him up and he had the guts to take me back to the team. It's been a long time since I resented someone. I wasn't someone that usually gets mad a lot or takes things too seriously but I guess some people just change you and they're really extraordinary.
“Dude, I got news!”
I gave him a pointed look and nodded my head to signal him to go on.
“This year, double scholarships were given to each sport team instead of one! And guess who got them for the basketball team?”
A smile started to spread across my face but it paused halfway, reminding me to be sure first and get the full news before I reacted.
“Who…?”
“Both of us you idiot!”
“What?!” I exclaimed and almost knocked him over with a hug, despite myself.
He laughed and after I pulled away his face just had to turn serious.
“Trevor, listen to me please." He took a deep breath. "I apologize for what I did. I'm really sorry and the guilt eats me up everyday. I know I've been a bad person and I'm trying…I want to change. I swear. Can you forgive me?”
I was silent for a moment, my mind half thinking about his apology and half thinking about the consequences of losing my arm band. Okay seventy percent arm band but still.
I sighed.
“Alright fine. As long as you make an effort to change and treat people well. I know your past plays a huge role in who you are today but you should try to just be a good person no matter what happens. Everyone goes through stuff, have gone through, are still going through but some are the nicest people you've met. And in the end, every oyne likes a nice person.”
His shoulders slumped and he looked really emotional.
“I don't deserve to know you Trev.”
I scoffed and turned back to search for the arm band that was taking over my mind for the last few minutes.
“Why would you say that?”
“You're too…easy going. And funny and athletic and just a great guy in general. You're a good friend. To anyone. And I'm not a good person so I don't think I deserve to be friends with someone like you–”
“Yes!” I exclaimed and then froze turning to look at Alexis as I slipped the finally found arm band on my wrist.
“I mean…Alexis,” I sighed heavily. “I know you're a great guy. At least you can be. And all you have to do is prove it. Even if it's baby steps. In the end…it will be fine,” I finished, staring happily at the arm band on my right wrist.
“Did you lose that?”
I looked up and smiled sheepishly.
“I'm never taking it off again,” I murmured and he laughed and shook his head.
I walked back to my locker and took a notebook out before slamming it shut.

“It's crazy how everything worked out in the end,” Maddie said to me while we sat on the bench in the basketball court in my house.
It was after school on Friday and the three of us were the only ones at home. Maddie and I were just talking while Alexis kept himself busy by making shots.
“It is crazy. So many explosions…” I said and she chuckled.
I turned to her with a smile on my face and I didn't hesitate to lean in. The kiss felt right. It felt great. Until I realized that Alexis was standing there.
Maddie realized soon as well and we stopped to stare at Alexis awkwardly.
“It's fine,” he said with a smirk.
Suddenly a thought popped into my head.
“Dude you should go to Lucy right now!”
His face fell and he shook his head. “Nah.”
I got up and walked over to him.
“Lucy?? what??” Maddie asked in confusion as I placed my hands on his shoulders.
“Go and talk to her.”
He sighed and let the ball in his hands fall and bounce away.
“Fine.”

I know, too good to be true, such a really disgustingly happy ending. It's not even over yet.....
NO ONE said anything when Sadie got Walt AND Anubis at the end of Kane Chronicles!!!!! Like how can you have the choice to choose between two guys you like and then end up with the two merged in ONE body???!!! NO FAIR
