Travis watched as Lilac darted. Moon walked up, a tray of little cakes and pastries in his hand. "We didn't order these," Jamie said, obviously concerned because he was paying. "On the house," Moon replied, giving Jamie a quick peck on the forehead before setting the tray down and pulling up a chair. "What happened up there?" Travis asked. "I, kind of, interrogated her." "Babe, what did I tell you?" Jamie joked. Moon smiled and picked up a chocolate croissant. "What did you say?" "I mentioned that she really hurt you." "Moon!" Jamie and Travis yelled together. "You're my friend, Travis. I had to say it," Moon defended. "Well, whatever. You guys aren't even involved together," Trey said, the first time he'd spoken in a while. "That doesn't stop me from caring about her," Travis mumbled. "Just like Lily?" Trey snapped, standing up and nearly knocking the table over. He then stormed out.

Travis hopped up and ran after him. "Trey, what is your problem?" "You. You are my problem, Travis!" "I-I don't get it," Travis said, pain forming in his throat. "She broke up with me, too, Travis! She cheated on you with me, ok? I wasn't supposed to tell you, but now the secret's out. Lily and I fucked and you didn't even know! And now, you're already over her. Maybe just once I thought I'd find a girl before you, but no, you just walk into them and fall in love, and because of you, I always lose everything!" "Trey, I-" "And you can forget about our friendship. It's over, man."
