Travis slammed his head into his pillow, not caring that his glasses were close to shattering like dried clay, and began to cry. He didn't care that it had been months since Lily had yelled him the most heartbreaking sentences he'd ever heard. He didn't care how long it had been. He had been close to loving her. But, she had never even liked him. It all felt like his insides were being ripped out through his left eyeball.

Whatever. He could find someone else. Just watch me, he thought, leaving his apartment, in the direction of the bar.
