Back story: Isabella was born to a Bronze and Frost Dragon; they had another daughter, Matila, who was her older sister. They were close. As she got older, her mother disappeared somewhere, and her father was often emotionally cold and distant. When she turned 7, a man took her away, claiming she was his dragon, and he was a Dragon Rider. He emotionally and physically wounded her for most of her life. When she turned 17, she escaped from the man and has been on the run. She found her sister again, and has stayed with her for a long time. She ended up leaving to find someplace different, hoping to not meet any more Dragon Riders.
