It was a odd night around a small campfire that dove had started. The three objects,Yigroish Bottle, croissant, and knife felt a bit uneasy. Their eyepatch wearing companion hadn't really spoke much, and seemed to be distant. She did provide nice peanut butter and jelly sandwiches however, and her cookies were amazing! The silence was interrupted however, by dove saying the words that the rest of the party had wanted to hear for a while now. " so I assume your confused. Would you like me to tell you a little bit more about the situation we are in?" Dove asked the three, and all three of them nodded simultaneously. Dove then smiled and said, " i thought you guys would well the expression is say that, but y'all didn't really say anything! Oh but that's just me getting off track"

Dove then started to tell the story. " So a long time ago, there was breakout of something called the corruption in the major universes. This was much before I existed, or even this universe existed. Anyway, the corruption was a viscous beast, and everything Sacred started to fall. Eventually though, they managed to stop the spread of the corruption, and make all of the universe's mostly corruption free. However, they put in place a measure to keep the corruption at bay, if it were to ever come back. That measure was me, well not technically me, but I am one of them. Universe protection in the form of beings that don't belong in said universe. Because most of us don't follow the same rules of the universe we are in, we, with the help of somebody who is assigned to us, who lives in the universe, can use our powers to keep any corruption away. I'm actually a puzzle piece, and one of many protecting universes like this, but we each have different nic-names to tell us apart. I got mine, dove, from being the caretaker of kracty's doves. The puzzle piece we are going to recruit next is slope, due to her being a surprisingly good mathmation. She also got her name however, because she is the girlfriend of the variable Y, and i will explain more about that when we get there. However, its starting to get late, you should all probably get to bed."

The three object nodded, but they silently took in the information. Croissant was surprised, this multiverse travel stuff didn't seem to bad, well as far as they knew it wasn't to bad. Knife was a bit scared. He didn't particularly want to run into anyone like kracty, but from the photo that Yigroish Bottle described them, and the way that dove had said that there were letters in that universe, he was a bit nervous about it. Yigroish Bottle on the other hand, was ecstatic that there were going to be new people for them to meet. They were so excited to learn more about this universe hopping stuff, and hoped that dove would explain more to them in the morning, when the woke up. For now, the three objects got into their sleeping bags, and went to sleep listening to the peaceful noises of dove singing in her soft calm voice
