Hello! My name is Tohru Honda, and 2 years ago my mother died from a car crash. Since her death, I have been living with the Sohma's. Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure are not just ordinary people, they have a curse that if a person of the opposite gender hugs them or they get really stressed out, then they transform into the 12 Chinese zodiac animals (and the cat).

I go to Kaibara High School, and my best friends are Hana and Arisa. They watch over me and protect me. Since Yuki and Kyo go to my school, people try to hug them, especially the Prince Yuki fan club members. But since Hana and Arisa are around me and I'm around Yuki and Kyo the Prince Yuki fan club members don't try to hug them as often. Which is good of course! Because of - you know - the whole transformation thing. Since I live with the Sohma's, I cook dinner. They say I'm a wonder cook, but there are people out there who are more talented cooks than me.

"Hey Tohru, what's for dinner?" Shouted Kyo. "I think you should be more polite to Miss Honda." Yuki argued. "Don't get on my nerves you dàmn rat!" Kyo roared. Oh, silly Kyo and Yuki arguing. Well they are the cat and mouse, right? About a minute later, Tohru came through the kitchen door, with a tray full of soup, salmon, and rice! Yum! Tohru said inside her head.Tohru is known for her excellent cooking in the Somah's and they always compliment her.

After the meal, everyone was stuffed. What a delicious dinner! thought Tohru. Everyone complimented Tohru - as always - with great joy and helped her clean up.

Knock Knock Knock!

"What was that?" asked Tohru.

"It came from outside." Yuki answered. They approached the front door and slid it open. As they opened it, there was a letter on the ground. "What does it say?" Kyo asked.

It says:

Dear Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo, I'm sorry I'm not here right now. My editor and I have a meeting and I won't be home until Tuesday. Please take care of the house when I'm gone.

P.S. Don't let Kyo break anything!

"Oh, Shigure's out, well I have to get more groceries." Tohru said surprisingly. I'll go in the morning. Thought Tohru.

The next morning, Tohru headed out to the market to get groceries, while Yuki and Kyo stay home. "Do you think we should do something for Miss Honda? She cares a lot about us and sometimes we don't even notice!" Yuki said with a worried look on his face. "Don't worry about her, she is always happy so just keep it that way." Kyo answered.

When Tohru goes to the market, she always passes the Main House. It's a house where the other Sohma members live in, cousins, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, everone who's a Shoma lives there except Yuki, Shigure, and Kyo.

10 mintues later, Tohru arrived at the market.

"Hmmm, what should I make for dinner tonight?" Tohru asked to herself. "Maybe some corn on the cob, salad, egg rolls, and a couple of steamed vegetables." Tohru got what she needed and walked to the register to pay for the groceries - It came to be $18.29 - Tohru works at a department store owned by Momiji's father. Momiji is also a Sohma and he was cursed by the rabbit on the Chinese zodiac. Tohru got what she needed to cook for dinner and headed home.
