Kyo's P.O.V.

I can't believe I just let Laura out in the woods like that. She could be killed by an animal. Damn, I can't think straight. Out of nowhere I hear a loud scream coming from the forest. Could it be..."Laura!" I yelled and jumped off the edge of the roof and landed on my feet. I ran downstairs to the kitchen.

"You stupid cat, where have you been. Yuki said angrily. I ignored him.

"Did all of you hear that." I said in panic. Both Shigure and Yuki nodded, but Tohru stood there confused.

"Hear what? I didn't hear anything." Tohru said.

"Well you see, Yuki, Kyo and I can hear things better than normal people because we're the rat, cat, and dog." Shigure explained.

"Oh, then what did you guys hear?" Tohru asked.

"Laura." The three of us said disappointedly in unison. Tohru's eyes widen in shock.

"It sounded like she's in trouble." Yuki stated seriously.

"Eh, she's in trouble we have to save her." Tohru panicked and ran around in circles.

"Ms. Honda, stay here, I'll find her." Yuki said heroically.

"Hey! I'm coming too." I barked.

"Ooo, Kyo has a crush on Laura." Shigure cheerfully exclaimed.

"Shut up! I didn't mean it like that." I shouted.

Then he pranced away happily singing "Kyo had a crush on Laura", several times. Yuki started to talk to Tohru so she could calm down, but I was still pissed that Yuki wanted to save Laura. I'm the one who likes her.

"Ms. Honda don't worry, Shigure will be here with you, and I'll find her." Yuki said which he purposely forget about me.

"Hey, you forgot someone." I yelled.

"Oh yes, Kyo too."

Since Shigure isn't coming, we had to find another way to track her down. I remembered she had Pokemon, which could help us. I walked into her room and tried looking for her Pokeballs, then I heard Yuki coming in.

"What are you doing snooping around in Laura's room?" Yuki asked angrily.

"I'm looking for her Pokemon, you damn rat." I hollered. I finally found them and they came out of there Pokeballs. I thought for a minute to see which one could help us.

"Hey you fix looking thing, find your trainer." I said. Then the damn thing used some type of fire move at my face, which seriously hurt.

"You stupid cat, you have to be gentle to it or it will hurt you, possibly kill you." Yuki said with a malice tone in his voice. He walked up to the Pokemon and scratches its ear. "Oh and it's called a Fennekin, not a fox looking thing.

"Dammit, I don't care." I replied and crossed my arms. "So how can this thing find Laura?"

"Fennekin, can you find your trainer Laura." Yuki kindly said. Fennekin got up and twitched its nose. Then it left the room and went outside, down the path Laura walked. Yuki and I followed behind until it reached an area in the forest that we never seen before. There was an abandoned house. It was pretty small, but it might be the place Laura was brought.

"Thank you Fennekin, but please stay outside, and stay away from people if they walk by." Yuki said politely. I rolled my eyes. "Let's go, but be quiet."

We opened the door, and it made a creaking sound. The inside looked like it's been deserted for many years, and it was covered with cobwebs in even corner. Hardly any furniture was inside. We silently walked down a hall until we heard a scream coming from the room right next to us. Yuki opened the door slightly and we peeked in. There I saw a girl that looked a lot like Motoko, but she was doing something out of character, she was holding a knife right up a Laura's neck.

"She gonna kill Laura." I whispered to Yuki.

"We have to think of something and quick." Yuki nervously whispered.

I thought for a moment, then I came up with something.

"How about we call the cops." I said.

He shook his head. "Laura would be dead by the time that get here."

I thought for another moment. "Maybe you can distract them and I'll get Laura."

Yuki spread a smile across his face. "Good idea. Sometimes you're not stupid, and you could be useful for some situations."

"And you're sometimes not a pain in the neck." I said, but later on in life I will regret it.

I got up, walked down the hall, and waited for Yuki to distract the girls.

Yuki's P.O.V.

I knocked on the door. All I could hear was scrambling of feet and a girl saying "ouch".

"Excuse me, but this is our-, Prince Yuki!" Motoko said in shock. I signed.

"Hello Motoko, what are you doing at my secret base?" I lied.

"Oh this is your secret base, we have something in common."

"What in common?" I asked.

"We share a secret base, silly." She said and laughed. "Come on everyone, Prince Yuki is here."

Three other girls came outside, but no sigh of Laura. I led them away from the room and to another one. Just before I left, I gave Kyo a signal to get Laura.

Kyo's P.O.V.

After Yuki gave me the signal to get Laura, I walked into the room. I saw her on the floor, and she was about to cry. I walked up to her and she looked up at me. She was astonished to see me.

"Kyo, what are you doing her?" She whispered.

"I came to save you, I guess." I said shyly.

"Really? Thank you so much." She then gave me a hug. I accepted it for a second, until I realized what she has done. I completely forgot about the curse and I just transformed into a cat. "Kyo, I'm sorry, I was just happy to see you."

"Just shut up, Yuki is distracting the girls so let's go." I said trying to hold me anger in. She picked up my clothes and ran out of the withered house.

Laura's P.O.V.

I was really happy to see Kyo and I just hugged him. I think he's mad at me now. I can't tell. He's always upset for a strange reason and I can't put my finger on it. We finally were back at Shigure's house and I knocked on the door. Tohru opened the door with glee.

"Laura you're back and you're safe. And I see you were excited to see Kyo." Tohru said with her sweet smile.

"Haha, yeah." I said and walked upstairs.

I walked into Kyo's room and I placed him on his bed. I smiled as I put him down and I was really happy he saved me before I was about to be killed.

"Kyo I'm really happy that you saved me." I said and I gave him a hug.

"Get your damn hands off of me. Do you realize what you have done. If you hugged me when those girls were around, then they would have seen me as a cat and then we have to erase their memories. Those girls are hard to get and they're sneaky too, so they could of our family experimented on!" Kyo yelled which broke my heart. "You know what, you're punishment for this mistake is not being my girlfriend anymore. And consider the fact that I'm never going to talk to you or save you in any circumstances!"

After what he said completely broke my heart. I ran out and into my room and started to cry. I only had a relationship with him for less than a week and I already broke up with him. Maybe it had been best if I had been killed by Motoko. Ever since I came here, I made faulty mistakes that lead me into more trouble. Maybe I should go back and have them kill me. No one needs me anymore, especially Kyo, the one I loved the most. That's it, I'm taking my Pokemon and I'm finding a way to get out of this messed up world.

Hello everybody. Finally I published this chapter. I promise I will update more sooner same with my other books. Don't worry, I'm not gonna forget about how much everyone likes this book and I will finish the book and not give up on it. The next chapter may be short, but I still have ideas for later on in the book. Thank you guys for understanding.
