It was almost the end of the day in school and Yu Hao hadn't yet heard from Zi Xuan. A week had gone by without seeing Zi Xuan's face or hearing his voice. This morning when he had entered school he had hoped that Zi Xuan would have stood there to welcome him.

As the school bell rang indicating the end of the day, Yu Hao collected his notes and dumped them in his bag angrily. The cold stare that was aimed at him wasn't lost on Yu Hao. Seeing the look pass between these two Jun Zhe said, "Don't bother about him. You know how he is. It's best to leave him be."

Yu Hao nodded with a slight smile of his lips, "Thanks bro. I missed everyone as well as this place. It's just been a week yet it feels like a lifetime."

Who would've thought that him, a person who hated the sight of volleyball would ever say this.

As soon as he entered the gymnasium his eyes desperately searched for his lover; however, he was nowhere to be found. His heart sunk. Was Zi Xuan avoiding him for some reason that he wasn't aware of? Was he still of the belief that he wouldn't meet Yu Hao until and unless his mom approved of them? A million question ran through his head.

With a resigned sigh he trudged towards He Cheng En and Xiao Xiao. Both of them engaged in some serious conversation. On eyeing him Cheng En waved at him and gestured him to come towards them.

"Oi, Yu Hao. Welcome back bud. I hope you're fit enough for today's practise session." Seeing Yu Hao's dampened spirit he added. "What's the matter....Why are you so down? If you're unwell you can skip today's practise if you want."

Yu Hao glanced around the hall once and then back at He Cheng En. Rubbing his forefinger under his nose he asked, "where's your friend, did he not come to school today?"

Cheng En seemed confused at Yu Hao's question. What was going on between Yu Hao and his friend. It seemed unlikely for Zi Xuan to inform Yu Hao about his whereabouts. The boys nodded their heads in unison. Cheng En continued, "It has been decided by the management that this year's volleyball tournament will be held in our school."

A roar of thundering claps and whistles resounded in the gymnasium. They cheered in excitement at the news.

"Shhh...quiet down.....don't get too excited yet. Having to organise the tournament means a lot of work that is why the director has called in a meeting with our coach and manager. There is a lot to be done and things to get organised."

Yu Hao breathed in relief. No wonder he couldn't find Zi Xuan here. He must have been busy after hearing the news. Knowing the reason, somehow subdued Yu Hao's anger a little.

Cheng En face palmed his head while the rest of the boys started laughing.

"Ow! Stop it Jia Jun or you'll get it." Jun Zhe snapped at his friend only to See Jia Jun shaking his head gesturing him that it wasn't him this time. Jun Zhe spun his head and saw Xiao Xiao fuming at him.

"Waiting for beauties from other school huh?.....What's wrong with the girls in our school. I bet the girls of our school would give a fair competion to those beauties of yours."

Jun Zhe smiled sheepishly at Xiao Xiao. He had totally forgotten that she was present in the hall. He knew how fierce she would get when angry and it would be better for him to stay clear of her.

He rubbed the back of his head and joked. "Of course they would. It's just that, I feel the beauties of our school are high maintenance and a poor guy like me can't afford them. So I have to cast my net...far out the sea."

The room burst out in laugher at his attempt to repress Xiao Xiao's anger. Cheng En came to his rescue and pulled his fuming girlfriend to his side.

A sound from behind him made him jump and turn around. What happened next was all a big confusion. He heard the click of the shower room door while a pair of hands pushed him to the wall. Sorry for the slow update guy's. This past week I've been binge watching on 'Sotus S: the Series.' hence the late update.

I thought of writing a warning line in the beginning of the chapter for mature content, but then I feel the surprise factor would be lost. I want my readers to be surprised hence I refrain from writing a warning sign.
