* 3rd day | 7: 21 AM *

You're trying your best to navigate the huge school of R.A.D to find your Math class (it's twice the size of Mom's school, and you thought that was big!) when you heard some demons gossiping about you. 

"Hey, that's the human that everyone's talking about. You think it's true what they say, that Mammon became a babysitter?" (Demon 1)

"Well, then I'd say that works out great. If we wait and strike when he's not paying attention, he'll never figure out it was us." (Demon 2) "C'mon, we should devour the human before Beel does."

You seemed to forget that Beel is the Avatar of Gluttony and that it is possible for him to eat you, literally. Vegetoid's got nothing on him. Following Mammon's advice and Chara's, you ran away, and as you looked back to see if the demons noticed, you bumped into someone. 

A male stood in front of me. He had silvery hair, just like Mammon and blue turned yellow orbs. He has the uniform's belt looped around on his side and bore a green collared shirt in a well-buttoned manner and had a white to blue gradient string tied around it. His fair complexion is doing justice for your eyes. How is it so smooth looking? 

"Hey, you. Yeah, you, the human with that frightened, tormented look on your face that demons love so much." He teased, smiling. "You're practically screaming, 'Come and eat me! I'm scrumptious!' Your name's Rubina, isn't it?" 

"Urgh, I don't like him already... and how does he know about your name?" Chara questioned, wary of his presence. "I think you should ask." 

"This is yours, right? Here, take it." He pushed the D.D.D. into your hands. You give him a wary look. He smiled once more. "What's with that look? There's no need to be suspicious of me."

"My name's Solomon-"

"HE'S SOLOMON?!" Chara screamed in frustration. "Here I thought there's going to be another nice human, but it's a wizard... Wizards..." 

"-I'm an exchange student from the human world, just like you." He extended his hand. You took it in a watchful manner. "Nice to meet you, Rubina."

"How do you know my name?" You asked without any context. "And, are you human? Lord Diavolo mentioned you're a magician."

"Well, for the first question, I'm sure you know that you've become a hot topic around the school, so how could I not?" He replied, tilting his head slightly to the left. "And for the second question, there is a time when even I'm not sure. Long ago, I obtained a ring of wisdom; a gift from a certain someone in a VERY high position, "Could it be Diavolo? You pondered. "Drunk on its power, I used it to form 72 pacts with different demons... If you believe in the stories about me."

He gave you a terrifying look, masked with a polite smile. "See you around, Rubina. Take care of yourself." You smiled back, then ran towards your classroom.

"We will never associate ourselves with him. Avoid at all costs." Chara stated eyes narrowed. "100% suspicious in my eyes."

As you ran you noticed a tiny pupper running towards your direction. You moved slightly to the left to let it pass, but instead, the dog ran towards you. It has white fur and blue eyes, reminding you of Greater Dog. What a cute dog, you innocently thought as you crouched, and put your hand out. It snuggled into your hand, and pet its head. Demons around you seemed to start whispering as you gave it attention. Chara too seemed charmed with the dog. 

Your simple action seemed to frighten or change the pup's demeanor, as it lunged towards you. You tried to avoid it, and luckily, it flew past you. A huge figure towered over you. "Careful. The dog could kill you." Beel warned, watching as you got on your feet. 

"How so?" You asked. "I'm sure it's just scared of me." Beel shook his head. 

"No. Remember what Lucifer said about souls? Well, the same goes for animals. Souls are also shiny jewels- or in their case, food to them- so, be careful." He left you be, letting the reality set in that everything could kill you, even something like that small dog. You shuddered in fright. 

Chara noticed your changed demeanor and coaxed you gently. "Rubina?" You nodded, then trudged to your next class.
