Conclusion | 1/12

Slowly, you grew accustomed to living with some of the most powerful beings in the Devildom. A month in, and it's already starting to feel 'normal'. They would fight over breakfast, you watching, and sometimes joining in, exactly what'd you do with Mom, Sans, and Papyrus.

Mammon's warmed up to you considerably, after the night you hurt yourself. Now, it's rare for you to go to work without the second-born by your side. On occasion, he even came to the cafe, boosting the sales quite a bit, increasing your salary as well.

You are occasionally joined by the angels and Solomon (who you don't feel quite comfortable with yet) for lunch, who you usually had with the demon brothers. You don't feel brave enough to talk casually to them, with the exception of Mammon- for some reason, you felt so open to talk to him- so most of the time, you let the angels, mostly Luke, to start the conversation.

From time to time, when Levi requested it, you joined him on a gaming session. Of course, your gaming skills aren't par to his, but they were decent enough to give him reassurance that you weren't as much of a normie as he thought.

Fond moments of you and your strange family on the surface pop up, but there was Chara to soothe the stinging feel in your soul. Speaking of souls, you got into another fight! As always, you spared them, and after a few times, they suddenly left you alone. Then you noticed Mammon running towards you. That must've been why they left, you assumed.

Asmodeus' flirtatious comments and Beel's unusual appetite is something you haven't gotten used to yet, still making you flustered and amazed when the opportunity strikes, but now you have Mammon by your side to fend off the attacks from Asmo- Beel's hunger is something you could deal with better.

Chara is strung by your side through and through- be it giving you advice, poking fun at you, or the two of you having a light chatter. She's a constant companion, and you are grateful for her presence. She's great, and you love her very much. Plus, there's the convenience of looking/listening to things that are 2-3 feet away that's impossible to be heard from your position.

Suffice to say, you had a good-ish first month, where your existence hasn't been threatened, and the beatdown you took isn't so bad.
