Lily's POV. 

"Now what do we do?" Amber whispered, as her fists quivered. I risked a glance back at her. Amber's eyes held nothing but hate. Her lip was bleeding and her hands were shaking softly. Lily looked back in front of her, where the three girls were in front of her. Three girls who had caused a small war. 

Jennifer Grace. A girl that reminded me of Brian's little fan girls. Too much makeup, and a flirty attitude. Only this little flirt had an I-will-tear-you-limb-from-limb look in her eyes and a Bruce Banner/Hulk strength in her fists. This girl knew how to punch. And she was the cause of Ambers bleeding lip and Lily's anger. 

"Had enough?" Jenn, as she was called by her posse wiggled her fingers to loosen the muscles in them. Her evil smirk made me clench my fists and lunged in front of my friend protectively. "Touch her again....." I growled. "And I swear, your face will be introduced to my fist in less than a second." 

Jennifer's smirk faltered. I guess no one had ever dared to stand up to her. "Why, you little-" "Jen?" One of her gang members grabbed her arm. "She's not scared. Remember what you said-" "Shut up, Kelsey!" Jen whipped her head back to me, her blonde hair giving me a headache. I put my arm under Amber's shoulder to hold her up. 

Jennifer stared me down. Trying to mentally break me. But I wouldn't be broken. "Tonight.....in the training room......10:00 sharp." She glared hard. "Be there Hunt......" She turned and strode to her dorm room. "We shall settle this one on one....." 

3rd Person POV.

When she left, Lily helped Amber to the bunk bed and shoved her on the bottom mattress. "You had to get on her nerves?!" She demanded, not acknowledging the other girls staring at her with newfound respect and jealousy. None of them had ever had the guts to stand up to the niece of the Director of Viper. What did this newbie have that the didn't?!

Amber didn't answer and put the back of her hand to her bottom lip. she removed it after a few seconds and stared at the red blood on it. "It's not bad." Lily sighed and tossed her a cloth. "She kneed you in the stomach, but I don't think it did any serious damage." 

A girl with flowing long black hair and a black t-shirt that was too big for her, shyly walked over. "You stood up to Jennifer.....not many....do that...we respect that." Lily nodded. "Thanks..." The girl held out her hand. "I'm Raven." Lily shook her hand. "I'm Laura. This is Alyssa." Raven grinned and gestured to the other girls behind her. "This is Queen, Milly, Francis, and Gwen." She looked back at Lily with a friendly smile.  It made Lily wonder if they were really evil or they were just being forced into working for Marcus Houston.

Lily jumped up and pulled herself up to the top bunk. "Get a good nights rest." Raven walked over to her own bed. "You two have a big day tomorrow." 

~In the Boys' Dorm~

The four boys entered the dorm to see nothing close to what the girls got. The men in the dorm looked up when Jackson opened the door. "This is Denver, Jason, Harry and Matthew. They are new so....be nice." 

He didn't need to tell the twice. As soon as the door was closed, the four were embraced and clapped on the back. "Welcome!" A tall but muscular guy shook Mark's hand. "I'm Trevor!" He had a baby face and soft baby blue eyes. His gelled brown hair was the only manly thing about his face other than his white killer smile. It reminded Mark of how he used to smile at the flirts at school. 

"I was expecting a pounding for dominance or something...." Jay mumbled to Dylan, who nodded in agreement. "So did I." A young man about seventeen or eighteen, fist bumped Henry. "I hear you are a computer hacker!"

Henry smiled a little. These guys were.....almost....nice. how could they be enemies of the X Force? "Yeah! six years experience...." The boy ginned and punched his shoulder playfully. It still sent Henry off balance. "You'll fit right in with the tech around here. You may get an assignment in the tech lab and Hacker Offices!" Henry leaned back on a wall and grinned to himself. Back at school, he was known as the hot nerd who no one wanted to be with, but acknowledged his goo looks only. 

"I'm Frank by the way." He grinned and shook Henry's hand. "I'm Hen-Harry." Henry corrected. He was afraid Frank would release and call him out on it, but the boy seemed to interested in talking about all her knew about hacking and Tech. Which wasn't a lot.As they lay to sleep the four all had the same thing in their minds. 'This place isn't that bad....' 

Dylan sighs softly and looked around the room, making sure everyone was sleeping. He reached under his shirt and brought out his jade. The one thing he shouldn't have brought.....But where was he supposed to put it?

Dylan turned the stone in his fingers. He could barely see in the dark room, but the jem reflected even the smallest trace of light. No one would take it....no one. He would make sure of it...
