For once, It was nice to not wake up in the middle of the night because Dakota had been re-living her past inside of her head. The haunting thoughts of William usually filled her mind with nightmares and that usually kept her up at night, but this time it was different. This time she had a pair of strong arms wrapped around her bare waist, keeping her demons that lived inside of her mind asleep. For the first time in forever, she could finally say that she felt safe.

Dakota could feel Bellamy's hot breath fanning the back of her neck as she awoken from her sleep. She shifted in the bed and pulled his arm off of her slowly so she wouldn't wake him up. She spotted Bellamy's T-shirt near the foot of the bed and pulled it over her body as she searched for her other clothing.

"I should let you steal my clothes more often," Bellamy's sleepy voice broke the silence after awhile, and she wouldn't deny that she almost jumped out of her skin.

She turned around with her underwear dangling in her hand which made Bellamy raise an eyebrow. "Jesus, Bell. You scared me."

Bellamy's mouth twitched up in a smirk as his eyes scanned down her frame. His shirt stopped about mid-thigh on her. She rolled her eyes at his longing gaze and started to pull on her underwear and her jeans and then the door had slammed open, making Dakota pull a sports bra over her bare chest. Bellamy reacted almost immediately, grabbing his gun from the nightstand.

Dakota was only sporting some jeans and her bra when Octavia burst the door open. Her eyes caught on my gaze as she tried to keep a straight face and her eyes gazed down my lack of clothing. "So, this is where all the noise was coming from last night," Octavia had a slight smile on her face as she broke the awkward silence that hung in the air.

Dakota's eyes had widened almost immediately. "What?" She almost choked on her own words as she quickly grabbed her shirt from the floor.

Octavia grinned over in amusement of seeing Bellamy's face. "I'm kidding, right.. This is rather awkward."

"You wanna tell me why you barged in here? Or are you going to continue to make this awkward?" Bellamy asked.

"Clarke and Raven discovered that Mount Weather is jamming us. They want the two of you to come with us to take the tower down." Octavia glanced in Dakota's direction with a smirk on her face. "Unless you are too tired after your-"

"Octavia!" Dakota squealed, "Enough, we will be out in five."

Octavia let out a snort, "Alright." She replied as she walked through the door, "Don't take too long."

****

"I can't believe they let Finn come." Octavia muttered through gritted teeth. Dakota agreed with Octavia, they should've left him back at Camp, but she remained silent on the topic.

"He's the best tracker we've got." Bellamy replied. He raised his voice as he spoke to the rest of the group. "Don't forget to look up. The Grounders use the trees." He advised. "That's how we lost John Mbege."

Dakota glanced over at Raven slightly, noticing how she was lagging behind and it was clear that her injury was causing her pain. "Holding up?" Dakota asked her.

Raven looked over at her friend with a frown on her face. "I'm fine," She shrugged it off and Dakota knew she was lying to her.

"You don't have to lie. I can tell when something is bothering you." She replied while gesturing how to her leg.

"I'm seriously fine, Dakota." She muttered under her breath, clearly getting annoyed.

Dakota looked over her frame and nodded at her. She looked back at Bellamy and Octavia who started walking the opposite way and she furrowed her eyebrows at the two siblings. Dakota glanced in front of her watching the guard who was watching Clarke and her mother. She decided to take the opportunity to sneak away and follow Bellamy.

It wasn't that hard to sneak away from the group as they drew closer to Mount Weather. The guards began looking at the mountain more than they paid attention to the teenagers.

"According to Clarke before the bombs there were buildings everywhere here. I'm guessing some of them had access to the bunker. So we're looking for ruins, anything that's man made, okay?"

"Hey Blake!" Bellamy, Octavia, and Dakota immediately stopped walking. "Let's go, right now."

Bellamy turned, "In case you've forgotten, we're not under your command."

"Don't make us do this the hard way."

"Come on, Scott." Bellamy was getting impatient, and so was Dakota. "Forty seven of our people are prisoners in this mountain."

"And that's why we're out here." Scott nodded.

"Wrong." Dakota stepped in. "You're out here to find other stations of the Ark. We're out here to find our friends." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Dakota, think about what your father would want."

She scoffed. "My father locked me up. I do what I want now."

"Bell.." Octavia's voice interrupted the small dispute. Dakota turned to look over at her, noticing she was looking at the ground. Dakota looked down to see the ground was crawling with bugs.

"What are they doing?" Scott frowned.

"Running." Bellamy answered.

Dakota looked up from the ground and noticing that a yellow tinged fog was rolling in towards us. "Acid fog." She breathed. "Acid fog!" Her mind flashed back to the memory that she almost got devoured by the stuff and received a nasty burn.

"We need cover! Now!" Bellamy commanded.

Dakota watched as Octavia started to follow the moving trial. She rolled my eyes and decided to follow her.

"O? O! Dakota! Get back here!"

"There's something here." Dakota whispered as she started to remove the chunks of greenery that stuck to the stone wall.

"Bell! There's something in here! Maybe it's the ruins." Octavia called her brother over as Dakota tried to open the door.

"Hey! Hey over here!"

Scott, who had been fumbling over the tents. rushed over to Bellamy, leaving his companions behind. They all rushed to get the door open.

"Hurry up!" Octavia screamed, briefly looking back at the fog.

The door came unstuck and Bellamy rushed all of them inside, calling to the remaining guards. "Hey! Quick! Get inside!"

The two remaining guards got up, running towards them but one was too slow and it was only a second before the fog consumed him as Bellamy shut the door with a bang.

Dakota rummaged through her bag and grabbed out her flashlight and turned it on. She looked around and gasped lightly at the sight of hundreds of cars lined up beside one another, all different shapes and sizes. "Where are we?"

"Looks like a garage." Bellamy sounded slightly awed.

"More like a tomb." Octavia commented dryly.

The garage seemed huge, maybe even bigger than what the Ark had been, it looked easy to get lost in. Bellamy ignored his sister and turned to Scott. "Look, I'm sorry about your man, but we need to find an access door to Mount Weather."

"Hey, not so fast." Scott stopped Bellamy from walking off.

"Sir, that fog could keep us pinned down for another-" Bellamy cut himself off when he realized that Scott had pulled out a gun for him.

Dakota smiled slightly and pulled her own sword from its scabbard. "We split up. Be back here in fifteen." Scott nodded to all of them, and they took off in different directions.

"This place is so creepy." Dakota could feel the chills running up and down her spine as her eyes kept lookout.

"You can say that again." Octavia replied.

"This place is so creepy." She said again, making Octavia snort beside me.

"Just stay close." Bellamy instructed.

The three of them froze when loud screams echoed from further down. Dakota glanced over at Bellamy, and they started to walk back cautiously where they had left to split up. Then music could be heard playing in the distance.

"Scott? Are you there?" Bellamy called out into the darkness. Bellamy moved forward, Octavia and Dakota following quietly behind. Dakota's heart sank when they came upon a discarded gun that Bellamy didn't hesitate to pick up.

A wet, squelching sound was heard. "Bell, what's that?" Octavia whispered.

Everything seemed normal until Bellamy shined his flashlight to the right, and Dakota felt bile coming up her throat when she saw two Grounders with their mouths caked in blood. They were shoving each other, like a lion protecting it's pray only so it would be it's own. At the sudden light being shone on them the two of them turned around she Dakota shoked out in feat as they got up and launched themselves.

"Reapers." Octavia breathed.

Bellamy quickly shot them down. "O?"

"What?"

"Take this." Bellamy handed her his handgun Scott had gave him, and Octavia took it without hesitation.

Other than the creepy music, there was only one noise left that was filling their ears, which was the same horrible noise they had heard before, telling them that there were still Reapers here. Bellamy shined the light, and another Reaper was hovered over Scott's body, with his back towards us.

Bellamy was ready to pull the trigger when the Reaper turned around and looked up, grunting. Dakota's eyes widened at the realization of who was standing in front of her.

"Don't." Octavia stopped her brother from shooting, not believing what she was seeing in front of her. "It's Lincoln." Octavia sounded both happy and relieved, but Dakota saw that Lincoln had no clue who we were.

"Lincoln, Lincoln, it's me. It's Octavia!" He ignored her and began running at them. The three of them backed away, but Lincoln had caught Octavia and threw her into one of the automobiles that surrounded them.

"Octavia!" Bellamy yelled.

Lincoln walked away from her and turned to Bellamy and Dakota. Dakota stood ready with her sword, but to her surprise Octavia had shot him in the leg before he could do anything. Lincoln stumbled slightly giving Bellamy enough time to knock him unconscious with his gun.

Dakota ran over to Octavia with no hesitation and helped her off the vehicle. "Get up." She said while panicking.

"We need to get somewhere safe." Bellamy told her, putting his arm around Octavia's waist.

***

Apparently, somewhere safe meant the backseat of one of the abandoned cars.

Octavia sounded like she was having a panic attack. "He's a Reaper? How is it even possible? He just looked right through me." Octavia whispered and Dakota put her arm around her, trying to comfort her.

The sound of glass being smashed rang out and they all looked up, seeing a figure trudging along.

"Shh." Bellamy hushed her.

Octavia ignored him. "How?"

Lincoln turned upon hearing a voice. Bellamy wrapped both of his arms around Dakota and Octavia. Lincoln looked into the window of the car that they were hiding in. He looked terrifying. Blood was dripping down his chin, his eyes were soulless. He looked like a monster, and Dakota's heart sank for her friend.

"Did he see us?"

"I don't know." Bellamy whispered back. Lincoln put his hand on the window, smearing his bloody handprint on it. He continued walking forward and Dakota sighed in relief.

"Shh. Just listen to me. We'll get him back. I promise." Bellamy reassured his panicked sister.
