Hyunjin would have imagined multiple different ways he will react to his water breaking. But when it finally happened it wasn't like Hyunjin had thought will happen.

He and Chan had been peacefully sleeping in their chambers when Hyunjin woke up thinking he wet the bed, he was extremely confused until the contraction hit. He had been having light contractions throughout the day but he just pushed it off to the back of his mind thinking it's just Braxton Hicks , especially since he wasn't even 6 months full term.

But now those contractions were back and stronger than before. And he was very unpleasantly reminded that omegas could give birth after a gestation period of between 4 to 6 months , ideally towards the 6 months mark.

Hj: Channie hyung

Hyunjin initial whines fell on deaf ear but he tried again this time calling him alpha and giving a few rough shoves , this seemed to finally wake the sleeping alpha.

Chn: what happened pup ?

Hj: Hyung..... My water broke.

Chn: oh ?

That had done it . Chan was now as wide awake as possible and a little panicking too.

Chn: oh ok.. ok. Deep breaths ok.

Hj: ya ya I'm taking deep breaths. Just get me to the clinic.

Chn: hm ya... Let's go.

Chan opted for taking the car since he figured having Hyunjin ride on his back in wolf form wasn't a good way option right now .

Once they were at the clinic despite Hyunjin's whining and Chan's insistence, the alpha wasn't allowed Inside the labour room. The doctor explained it's because of the  Alpha tendency to try and hurt the doctors and nurses if the alpha feels they are hurting his mate.

While the two mates understood the reasoning both of them were either too agitated and on the edge or in pain to care about logic. But still the alpha waited outside opting to call his brother since they had left in a hurry not informing the other members of the house though he was sure the noises they made in the hurry of leaving the house would have surely woken atleast Felix if not all three others.

When Felix picked up the phone his sleepy but alert voice was clearly audible.

F: ah hello hyung ? What was that earlier ? I couldn't reach you when I tried calling after seeing the car leave.

C: Hyunjin is in labour.

F: oh ? .... That explains it. Should we come over now ? Or would you prefer if we come over tomorrow so you guys get your moment with the pup and also the much needed rest.

C: Tomorrow. I think Hyunjin would prefer that too. But stay on line for a while more or i might storm into the labour room Hyunjin is in. Turns out Alphas aren't allowed inside.

F: Ahh sure. Oh wait Minho wants to talk to you.

C: sure give him the phone.

M: Hyung.... Is Hyunjin hyung ok ?

C: yes min. He is fine. Felix will bring you guys to see the pup tomorrow ok ?

M: ok hyung

They talked for a little more the ones at home keeping chan from growing even more restless.
