Hyunjin was passing by Mr. and Mrs. Lee's room when he heard violent coughs which sounded like it came from Chan's dad.

Hj: dad.... Are you ok

There was no response except the coughing causing him to ask again. And again recieving no response he tried opening the door and saw it was unlocked. And when he went inside he was met with the sight of Mr. Lee on his bed. Leaning towards the floor and his hands were bloody after trying to muffle his coughs.

Hj: Shit!! Your coughing blood. One second.

Hyunjin quickly brought a towel to clean Mr Lee's hands and corners of his mouth. And gave him water to drink.

Hj: better now ?

Mr. L: ya. Thank you.

The older's voice came out rough and strained.

Hj: you don't have to say thank you. Let me call Chan hyung. We need to take you to the hospital.

Mr. L: no don't call Chan. Just tell my wife and you both can take me . But no telling the kids until their school day is done.

Hj: But..

Mr. B: Hyunjin...

Hj: ok fine. I'll go call mum.

Chn: ' Babe... Why is our house empty where are you all'

Hyunjin was at the hospital cafeteria. He had went to get coffees for the older couple . He slightly flinched when Chan's voice came through in his head

Hj : ' um bad news dad's in hospital. He was coughing blood so we brought him here. But he made me not tell you three until school was over'

Chn: ' What we are coming. Text me the room no. Ok'

Hj: ' ok I'll do that. '

Chn: 'ok see you there love'

15 minutes later Hyunjin saw three figures rushing upto the room where Mr. Lee was admitted in . Hyunjin was waiting outside just in case the the three brothers had any trouble finding the room.

Lk: how dad hyung ?

Hj: um he is ok for now .

Fel: for now ?

Hj: just come inside.

The 4 guys entered inside and saw theirs mom was sitting on the bystander's bed while their dad was half awake and connected to an nebulizer with a mask .

Minho quickly hid behind Hyunjin not wanting to see the sight of his dad like this while the two alpha boys spoke up wanting to know what's up .

Fel: what happened? Why is he suddenly hospitalised?

Hj: um I found him coughing out blood so we brought him here .

Chn: oh ? What did the doctor say ?

To an outside person Chan might seem extremely calm for the situation at hand but his close ones could see the storm going inside his head.

Mom: ah he... He.... I can't say it. I just -

Hj: you don't have to mom. Don't worry I'll explain everything to them outside you take rest ok.... Guys come outside please.

Once the 4 boys were outside Hyunjin let out a sigh.

Hj: so um.... I have no idea how to tell you guys but dad doesn't have a couple of months left like we all had hoped .

Fel: w-what are you t-t-talking about Hyunjin...

Hj: I'm sorry I didn't want this to be the news I shared but dad doesn't have any more than a couple of days left and that itself the doctor said is a lucky case. The poison can reach his heart any moment between now and in two days , it depends on how much his wolf can fight the effect.

At Hyunjin's words Minho had gone completely silent while the two alphas both decided to take a walk around the hospital and to try and process everything.
