Whether Kreacher was able to find Mundugus or not, Jenna never found out. After that night at Grimmauld Place, Jenna and Sirius returned back home. They were planning on assisting Harry with searching for the Horcrux, but something happened that changed it all.

It was only a few days after visiting the kids at Grimmauld Place. Sirius was reading the Daily Prophet over breakfast, but Jenna suddenly heard him curse loudly.

"What is it?" Jenna asked briskly when she saw the horrified look on his face.

"It's — it's Harry," Sirius said in a shaky voice, the shock obvious upon his complexion. "He's been seen at the Ministry."

Jenna felt her whole body freeze at those words, as though someone had emptied a bucket of ice on top of her.

"Was he caught?" she asked briskly the moment she snapped out of her paralyzed state.

"No. He got away," said Sirius, though there was an anxious look in his eyes.

Later that day, Jenna and Sirius went back to Grimmauld Place, but found the place empty. They were gone.

***

Throughout the next long weeks that passed, Jenna seemed to have fallen the way she had been last week; sick and pale with worry. November had at long last arrived, but they still had no idea where Harry and his friends were, or wether they were dead or alive.

"A part of me wishes they'd never told me what they were up to," Jenna muttered as she and Sirius were sitting in the quiet of the living room. "To know that they're after parts of You-Know-Who's souls..." Jenna shut her eyes close, as though she couldn't bear to finish the rest of her sentence.

She always kept the radio on, from morning to night. She switched through the channels for any news on Harry, because Daily Prophet was no longer trustable. She always listened to the list of victims, hoping that she wouldn't hear a familiar name.

That night was no different; both Jenna and Sirius were already in bed. Sirius turned off the lights to sleep, but Jenna kept the radio on because she wanted to wait for the list of names to come to an end.

"Could you please turn that off?" said Sirius, a sharp edge to his tone.

"In a minute," Jenna muttered, her eyes on the radio which was placed on her nightstand.

"Jenna, I'm starting to get sick of that thing," Sirius finally snapped, sitting up on the bed. "I've tried not to say anything for weeks! What do you expect to hear!?"

"I'm not waiting for good news, Sirius," she said, feeling a lump in her throat. "I'm just hoping not to hear the name of someone we know."

"Even if we do hear it, there's not much we can do locked up in here, is there?" Sirius said blankly, and Jenna gaped at him in disbelief.

He sighed, realizing what he had said. "Look, just turn that off and get some sleep, okay?"

Jenna kept her eyes on him for a moment longer before turning off the radio. But instead of trying to sleep, she got the blankets off her and stood up.

"Where are you going?" Sirius asked, glancing back at her.

"I'm not feeling sleepy yet," Jenna said as she walked toward the bathroom. "I'll just go and take a quick shower."

Sirius nodded slowly, feeling terrible for what he had said. He hated seeing her like this. Sirius knew that she had went through so much in her life, and he felt disappointment in himself that right now he couldn't do anything to make her better. If he could take all her pain away and take her place, he would've.

Sirius sighed to himself as he tried going back to sleep, but couldn't fall asleep, no matter what. He could hear the water which had started running in the bathroom.

He might just imagined it, but Sirius could've sworn that he suddenly heard her sobs.

***

Jenna let the warm water wash down her tiredness and the ache in her body. Her head was hurting from all the worries that haunted her thoughts. Although her mind wasn't easing with the running water despite how she had hoped it would.

Thinking about the past hurt her. Thinking about the future hurt her even more. If there was a gap in between where she could run to and hide forever, she would've taken her chance. But she was stuck here, somewhere between the horrifying memories of losing everyone she loved, and the fear of losing those few people she had left.

Jenna couldn't get their faces out of her head; she couldn't forget the excitement of her father after he'd learnt Lily was pregnant and learnt he was going to be a grandfather; little did he know that the universe had other plans.

She could still remember the last smile on her mother's face, or the feeling she'd got after hearing about Marlene's death and the way she tried to helplessly protect her little brother until her last breath. Even Alice and Frank.

Jenna could still remember Lily's lifeless body on the floor of Harry's old room. And no matter how much Jenna tried, she couldn't get the thought of James out of her head; the way he laid at the bottom of the staircase, the way his hazel eyes stared up at the ceiling without seeing, the way she kept shaking him as though he would come back to life.

Jenna couldn't even close her eyes now without seeing them all, or picturing losing Harry just as she had lost everyone else she loved. She couldn't bear to think about him out there, trying to fight this war with little help, in danger every minute of every day.

Before she could stop herself, the tears had started rushing down her eyes and streaming down her cheeks. Jenna pressed one of her hands against the wall to hold herself standing as she sobbed, her throat burning and her stomach aching.

Her eyes shot open the next moment when she suddenly heard a knock at the door.

"Jenny?" Sirius called from behind the bathroom door. "You okay?"

Jenna took a deep breath so her voice wouldn't come out shaky before saying, "Yeah, I'm fine."

"Listen... I'm sorry for what I said back there."

"It's fine."

But Sirius mustn't have been convinced, because he slowly opened the bathroom door, peering inside to make sure Jenna was all right.

She turned her back on him briskly so he wouldn't see her tears as the warm water kept running down on her.

"Want a guest?" Sirius asked with a little smile.

      "Not really —"

"Oops. Too late," Sirius said playfully, already unbuttoning his shirt. Jenna couldn't help but to let out a little chuckle.

Stripping out of all his clothes, Sirius stepped into the shower, but Jenna still wouldn't turn to face him.

"Jenny?" he spoke her name so softly that made her think his voice belonged to a dazed dream.

With that, he placed his hands on either side of her waist, gently leading her to turn around. His heart sank painfully when he saw that her eyes were red and her nose puffy.

"I knew I'd heard you crying," he whispered sadly as though speaking mostly to himself, but she still wouldn't look up at him.

"You must think I'm weak." Jenna shook her head and closed her eyes, trying to prevent more tears from falling.

"No, of course not!" Sirius shook his head earnestly. "Hey, look at me. Look at me," he said demandingly, though he placed an ever so gentle finger underneath her chin, raising her face up. "You're the strongest person I know."

Jenna shook her head out of his reach, though she was now smiling lightly.

"I'm being honest," he said, this time grabbing her by softly placing his both hands on either side of her face, looking deeply into her eyes with his piercing grey ones. "If I'd been in your place... I'm not sure if I would've been able to keep going."

Jenna placed one of her hands over his, looking deep into his eyes as her tears started streaming down her cheeks again. She was glad because of the running water, because maybe now he wouldn't be able to see her tears easily.

With his hands still over her tear-stained cheeks, Sirius leaned down and softly pressed his lips against her lips. It took Jenna a moment longer, but Sirius was glad when she started to kiss him back.

With the hot water rushing down on them, Sirius's hand travelled down her waist as he deepened the kiss. Jenna wrapped her arms around his neck, going on her tiptoes. She didn't know why she was still crying silently, because having him so close to her had certainly made her feel better.

Much to her dismay, Sirius pulled away, looking down at her and searching through her expression. He then leaned his head down and rested it against her forehead, whispering, "I may know a way or two to make you feel better... if you like."

Jenna stared back into his eyes, her heartbeat speeding up, because she knew exactly what he meant. All she could manage to do was to give him a small nod, her eyes still locked with his.

That nod was enough for Sirius to lean down again, connecting their lips together as soft as a summer breeze. But she gasped lightly when she felt one of his hands leave her waist, traveling downward. She suddenly let out a shaky breath when his fingers reached down in between her thighs.

She felt him teasing her as his lips travelled down her jawline, her neck, and planting kisses on her skin all the way down onto her collarbones. She closed her eyes in bliss but had to place a hand on his shoulder to prevent her knees from giving in and collapsing.

Jenna could still feel the hot water running down her skin and relaxing her every muscle, washing all her thoughts away, as though she was in some sort of a trance.

She groaned the next moment when Sirius pulled away. He turned off the shower, and then in a quick motion, he wrapped her legs around her waist and took Jenna off in his arms, walking out of the bathroom.

Once they reached the bed, he gently laid her down on the mattress before climbing up the length of her wet body, hovering above her. With the use of his wand which was on the nightstand, he dried the both of them magically.

He then leaned down once more after putting away the wand, bringing Jenna into another kiss. This time, it was different from all the other kisses they had shared in bed in the past. It wasn't rough and needy as it usually went, but it was gentle and passionate.

Sirius pulled away slightly, his lips only inches away from hers. "I love you so much, Kitten."

Jenna smiled, raising her head only enough to peck him on the lips and whispering, "I love you, too."

Sirius grinned, taking in her sight as his eyes roamed her body while she laid underneath him. Feeling the lust surge from within him, Sirius tried to push back the urge of roughly taking her right here and now, reminding himself that this was all about her, and he wanted to make her feel calmer.

So as gently as he could, he started dragging his lips down her chest and stomach, leaving sweet kisses on every inch of her body.

Jenna closed her eyes in ecstasy as the seconds passed by and turned into minutes, her back arching up as she felt the pleasure filling up her body, growing strong and stronger with every passing moment.

It got to the point that she couldn't contain herself anymore and let a moan escape her throat, the breath hitching in her lungs as she slowly came down from her high.

Smiling to himself as he hovered above her once more, his arms on either side of her writhing body. He leaned in to press one last loving kiss on her lips before getting off her and returning to his side of the bed.

Jenna finally opened her eyes, trying to catch her breath as she glanced at him sideways in confusion, still laying on her back.

"What are you doing?" she asked him, trying to get her breathing under control.

"Well, I thought tonight would be... you know... just for you..." Sirius shrugged lightly.

     "Oh..." Jenna's face fell.

"I mean, unless you can take another round," Sirius said playfully, winking at her.

Jenna laughed, giving him a mischievous look. "You know I always like it."

"I'll take that as a yes," said Sirius in a low whisper, catching her off guard as he suddenly brought her into deep kiss, much needier and rougher than just a few minutes ago, as though he had turned into a different person.

But she let out a loud gasp and her hands gripped the sheets beneath her when he pounded into her, sending a rush of pleasure through her body. Her hips curved up into his, her eyes closing uncontrollably in bliss.

Their heartbeats sped up in sync as their breaths grew heavier with each passing second. Jenna's toes curled as Sirius lowered his head to kiss her neck, sure to leave a mark.

But he was taken by surprise when she pressed her palms against his bare chest to push her back, suddenly rolling them over so that she was now on top, grinding her hips down on his.

As the night came to an end, they both laid down, trying to catch their breath again as their heartbeat gradually slowed down.

Jenna rested her head on top of his chest, listening to the sound of his calm breathing. She closed her eyes as he wrapped his arms around her, holding her closer than ever.

They both wished that it could always be like this. They wished that they could freeze this moment and live it forever, laying in each other's arms with the moonlight beaming through the window, as the silence of the room slowly took them over to sleep.
