Chapter 175

To Jenna's relief, Sirius returned home after long hours, way past midnight. She was glad to hear that everyone had made it to the Burrow alive, though George had unfortunately taken a curse to the ear.

What caught her by surprise was when Sirius told Jenna that apparently Mad-Eye wasn't supposed to survive, and yet Lexi had tipped him off before the battle. Jenna was so glad that the girl had been sent to their lives, because she didn't know how her life would've been if Lexi hadn't been there to save Sirius. She didn't even want to think about it.

All the horrors aside, Bill and Fleur's wedding soon arrived. Sirius was awaiting Jenna downstairs in the Potter Manor , as she was still getting ready in her room.

"Jenny!" Sirius called after checking his watch for the hundredth time, his patience slowly running out.

"In a minute!" Jenna called back from upstairs.

Sirius huffed and shook his head, mumbling to himself, "She's a Metamorphmagus. You'd think she'll be able to get ready faster. But nope."

He started pacing around the living room, already in his black tuxedo. He kept sighing to himself, pursing his lips together as he waited for her impatiently.

At last, after long minutes, he heard her footsteps as she started walking down the stairs. "Okay, I'm ready. Let's go," she said.

"Finally. We're running late —" Sirius was saying, but he came to a halt as Jenna walked into the hall, his heart lurching at her sight.

Jenna was wearing a long golden dress with a V neckline that showed way more of her chest than usual, and matching high heels. She had turned her hair brown and a little longer than usual, giving it a beautiful wave near its ends.

Sirius's eyes travelled up and down, taking her feature in, but he couldn't form the words to speak. "You look — I mean — you just —"

"I know," said Jenna, winking at him.

Sirius grinned, walking toward her and wrapping his arms around her waist. The strong scent of her perfume was his breaking point.

He placed his forehead against hers. "You drive me crazy, Jenny," he said in a husky voice, and a smile formed on Jenna's red lips.

She opened her mouth to speak, but she only let out a gasp when Sirius leaned down and pressed his lips against her neck.

"Sirius, didn't you say we were late?" Jenna chuckled as he kept planting kisses down her neck and all the way to her collarbones.

"I'm sure no one would miss us there," he said between kisses, until he crashed his lips against hers, his hands traveling through her dark brown hair.

Grinning, Jenna pressed her palms against his chest and pushed him away playfully.

"Patience, Mr. Black," she said in a flirtatious voice, taking a few steps back. "You'll have to wait for the fun until after the wedding."

"Oh c'mon, Jenny. We're not that late," Sirius tried to protest, but Jenna only laughed and made her way toward the house's door.

When Jenna and Sirius Apparated to the Burrow, almost everyone had already arrived. The wedding was being held inside a great white marquee. As the couple walked through the entrance, they saw rows and rows of fragile golden chairs set on either side of a long purple carpet. The supporting poles were entwined with white and gold flowers, making the place look enchantingly beautiful.

"I'll go get us drinks," said Sirius, walking away for some champagne after placing a kiss on her cheek.

"Aunt Jenna!"

Jenna heard someone call her name, and so she turned around, expecting to see Harry. But she was surprised to see a red-haired boy with freckles.

    "It's me. Harry," he whispered.

"Oh!" Jenna said in realization, knowing that he probably didn't want to be seen as himself, and had taken the Polyjuice Potion to look like a Weasley cousin.

Without saying another word, Jenna brought him into a bone-crushing hug. "Thank Godric you're all right. I missed you so much!"

Harry chuckled, hugging her back. "It's nice seeing you."

Jenna smiled, pulling back. Just then, her eyes fell upon Ron Weasley, who was waiting at the entrance, looking rather bitter.

"You know..." she started thoughtfully, "I think it's time that your ginger friend and I officially met, don't you think?" Jenna flashed Harry a little smirk, before transforming into a fluffy ginger cat.

Harry sniggered before following Crookshanks onward, knowing exactly what was on her mind. When they reached Ron, he looked down at the cat.

"What's Crookshanks doing here?" Ron asked Harry gloomily. "Couldn't Hermione have kept her inside the hou — AARGH!" He suddenly shrieked when the next moment the cat transformed into a human, smiling at him cheekily.

"Well, hello," said Jenna, her grin widening.

"I — you — you were — I — how —"

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" Jenna asked with mock-concern, and Harry couldn't help but to snort with laughter.

Ron pointed at her in horror and opened his mouth to shout, but Harry quickly covered his mouth.

"Calm down," Harry said urgently as Ron tried to break free. "This is my aunt. Jenna Potter."

That only made Ron feel more freaked out as he stared at her in horror, and Jenna was enjoying every moment of it. At first, it was the horror of the cat being a human all along that scared him, but then the realization hit him that he had been insulting and sometimes even kicking Harry's aunt all along.

"I've been so keen on meeting you, Ron Weasley," Jenna said coolly. "But I think an apology is in order. On your side, though, in case it wasn't clear already."

When Harry was sure that Ron had calmed down a bit, he removed his hand from over his mouth, though Ron still seemed pale and unable to utter a single word.

"This might take some while," said Jenna after a long pause, still grinning at Ron's shocked state. "How about I go get my drink, and meanwhile, you process everything. And God know how long that's gonna take."

With one last knowing grin at Harry who was smiling admirably at his aunt, Jenna walked over to Sirius and then went to say hello to Remus and Tonks, as well as Hermione.

The beautiful ceremony soon officially started when Bill and Fleur arrived, and after that, the party went on and the music started playing, everyone dancing and enjoying themselves for the night.

Jenna took another glass of champagne while Sirius was speaking with Remus about the latest news in the Daily Prophet about Dumbledore, and the article Rita Skeeters had written about him. Jenna wanted to join them, but her attention was caught by Lexi and Fred who were arguing in the distance, slightly away from Fleur's French Veela cousins.

Jenna then heard Fred say to Lexi,  "I'm just chatting these ladies up with George. They're our guests. It's rude not to talk to them."

"You're right," Lexi nodded sincerely. Jenna saw that her eyes then scanned the room, until it fell upon a handsome tall boy across the place, who looked to be a relative of Fleur's. "Oh how rude of me not to have talked to him until now. He's a guest after all."

So with a wink at Fred, Lexi started walking away from them and toward the blond boy.

Fred made an angry move to follow her and to protest, but he was stopped by one of the French girls who gently grabbed his arm, which gave Lexi a bigger motivation to go on.

But right before Lexi could reach the blond boy, Jenna stopped her as she said in a soft voice, "I wouldn't do that if I were you."
